All theme people and they can’t even announce a lineup for the next 5 months 😶

Just kind of finally built my own video game “area” in my house and connected all of my Nintendo systems. Considered booting up the GC Sunshine and thought... better wait JUST in case.

Here’s hoping if they DO release these, that they’d actually be remastered and look better than they did back on their own consoles. Not just put the game on a cart and that’s it lol.

I’m not a fan of this series at all. But given that this is sort of their only game on the horizon at this given moment lol... I might give it a shot.i hope it surprises me because it looks pretty fun.

I’m sure we’ll see something after the release of Paper Mario. They don’t want to steal its thunder. But since Paper Mario isn’t for everyone I understand this. If they had released the supposed Mario collection for later this year - I know where my money is going.

I’d maybe dislike it less of the Pokémon models didn’t look like they were straight out of Smash 3DS. On switch.... woof.

I’d love to know how far their jaws dropped looking at the dislikes. Also, not sure how they can’t announce another new thing. I’m willing to bet this fall’s DLC is nearly completed anyway...

I’d LOVE a Pokémon RPG with Pokken battle style. You know, where the move bite or slash or (gasp) double kick actually touches the opponent...
And of course the option to catch. That uses the authentic pokéball sounds... ugh.

While I loved the GO version on switch, the removal of the majority of the battle system sort of ruined a fantastic memory of this game for me. I still played it. I still enjoyed it. I just really really missed the battle system for catching Pokémon. Fond memories of being absolutely STOKED to get this game back when it was originally released.

Wario Land HD remake? That’s it...

@Cool_Squirtle I suppose. I honestly don’t see anything wrong with them just even saying “at this time on this day we are announcing something big”. At least there’s SOME element of surprise. Thats what they’ve been doing for years since their old E3 days. Every crowd is different I suppose. Myself, while I don’t mind Directs, I do miss those E3 presentations tbh... alas, times have changed since the 90s lol

I think a great way to add to the “surprise” of new big games, they could do a YouTube countdown to a new video. Instead of dropping a bomb... perhaps giving us a little anxiety into what’s to come. That could hype me up...

Now do these predictions include the Switch Lite as well?

This game would be awesome remade on the switch. However, hoping for a classic Wario Land more....

Neat little direct. The Pokemon update seems cool to me, might get into it! My new isolation game is Pokemon Shield... still disappointed in the poke ball animation... can't get it right. Smash Bros got it right. Sound and all.

Ports ports ports. Skyward Sword would be great, never played it on the Wii. But I’d surly love a new Mario Galaxy. However Since Odyssey did so well I’m sure we’d get a sequel to that before a new Galaxy title. Hopefully something fun for summer? Absolutely zero interest in Animal Crossing.

I’m still torn about actually BUYING the base game. I’m just... not convinced. But the idea of a DLC expansion sounds promising so I might check it out. Really though I’m itching for another Let’s Go! I’d LOVE Gold and Silver but also Diamond and Pearl, the latter being such a fat stretch for me from the mainline games so I thought it was crazy and fun. But please. Get rid of the GO style catching. I miss battles. The GO style catching should be an “option” once you’ve lowered the damage enough to catch.

I have SO many vintage mint condition cards. I just don’t know where to turn to get the appraised. Any suggestions for here in North America?

I mean I would truly be happy with awesome new games from Nintendo, along with cherished ports and remakes. Being “new”and the best isn’t always the answer. Take your time big N. I’m sure switch will have some really great A+ games for the next 3/4 years

I’m actually pretty excited to see this! I always imagined a new Pokémon game that would have this gorgeous art style. Guess not...

I don’t see Wario Land on that list...

Never got into Paper Mario games. Just weren’t my style of interest. Metroid could be fun though. Be interesting to see what is announced. Now if they announced another Wario Land or a new Yoshi’s Island, I WOULD LOSE MY MIND....

I’d love a cute Mario side scroller in the same graphics used for the side scroller scenes in links awakening remake. Those goombas omg. A proper yoshi’s island remake in that style would end my life.

@KayFiOS it’s such a fantastic game. But I don’t think it would be smart to release a remake. A re-release maybe but, to have it as remake release would give Nintendo some grief about laziness since it’s already been remade twice. Or once? I’m not sure... correct me lol

Wario Land. Super Mario Land 2: 6 golden coins. Those games deserve the remake love. I still to this day go up to my cottage with my old game boy and play these games on the dock. Such incredible games. Come on Nintendo!!! Time for some new side scrollers!!!

@TJWorks no I know, you’re right. I don’t AVOID things that I see because I’m interested. But I think that’s what ruined Crafted World for me. I also shouldn’t have downloaded the demo lol. I’ve been at bay with Luigi’s mansion 3 and Zelda LA. So I’m excited to be surprised there!

I hate all these teases and announcements. No surprise element when actually getting the game.

What the world needs now, is Wario Land for Switch

I’d much rather a Wario Land remake than ALTTP... but in all honesty I’d take both

@XTS2 I won’t deny it looks great. I was absolutely IN LOVE with Let’s GO. But I think after getting Pokémon games that REALLY pushed the visual envelope like Pokken Tournament, I think many people, including myself, maybe expected something of that tier graphically. Especially for what we’ve seen on the Nintendo Switch so far. You’re right it IS the best Pokémon has looked. But hey IT IS WHAT IT IS! I’m still gonna buy it. I’m still going to love it. No question

Ok BOTW type game was a bit much to ask for. Graphically though, it’s a bit jarring that they couldn’t get to a Pokken level.

Sure, give us that typical linear Pokémon game which we are all used to, but step it up graphically a bit. Especially the character models. That is a complete let down. I expected something at least on the level of Pokken Tournament graphically. Not 3DS, which is dead.

Sad that the actual Pokémon game franchise can’t get the poke ball animation and sound right. At least the smash series got that s*it correct

The world looks gorgeous. The design of the Pokemon are VERY basic. Not what I’d expect from a Switch game. Pikachu looks like he should still be on the 3DS... whoever said BOTW tier should be shot. Still, Day 1 purchase for me.
