I am a HUGE HUGE HUGE Yoshi’s Island fan. I’ll remain optimistic but this demo rather unimpressed me. And that makes me so sad yet hopeful the other stages will wow me. Maybe it’s just the level... ugh. Damn.
I was hoping the little damn eggs would at least hop and not float like they’re in space. Very visually appealing. Although I really dislike how “kiddie” Yoshi has gotten. Looking forward to it though. Wooly World while slightly kiddie, had a great difficulty level so I’m pumped.
@PanurgeJr Very true... it’s just hard to be so excited about a new system when there are ports considered as “big releases”. But I get it. I still bought MK8 and Captain Toad and enjoyed them the same. But it’s like, k, we get it. But this is why I buy them. On the Go, ya know?
@frogopus You’re right.... and I’m quite interested in the small side quests to enter a gym. In no way was I expecting a BOTW Pokemon (hello that would be awesome)... it’s just the routes seem like REALLY brief. I’m not concerned just an observation. I can’t wait to dig back into pkmn yellow. I trust they have loads for us to do with all the crap they’re integrating into the game via pkmn GO. So excited.
I had hoped that the Switch version would have changed the style a bit. Love the original art feel but honestly my fav was when they released the first ever images/footage of Yoshi’s Island 64. And then the whole fruit collecting ruined it for me.
Hopefully they went back to the drawing board with Yoshi, and made it more like Yoshi’s Island. I’m ok with crying Mario, and that art style. There’s enough games for children. Cater it to the adults who grew up with the original PLEAAAAAASE!
E3 USED to be great. I didn’t mind it, but it was lacklustre in the respect that they weren’t surprising anyone. And that’s what E3 was always about back in the day. While they showcased SMASH a lot, they should have done the info-regurgitation in the fall. Give us a damn trailer and tell us the date. The rest can follow before release. ik Okay with not showing trailers on delayed or upcoming games... but give us a screenshot or more info! That’s what E3 is for. I’ve always been against in-depth looks at games that are upcoming. Because there’s no surprise. Missing the days of seeing screenshots only in Nintendo Power...
Well this made me sad. Because there’s basically no room for surprise releases next year. Anything they showcase next E3 will we either be a loooooong wait, or we’ve been waiting for it already. Because we basically know every release for 2019 now. Unless they shock the sh*t out of us...
It’s the small things that I want to see. I wish they used the cartoon animation and sound bites for poke balls opening, and when the Pokémon return. It’s seriously bothered me since Game Boy. I wanna see that damn red laser and hunny they zoom on back.

Jeez those routes seem itty bitty compared to GB... would take me 20 mins to walk to the safari zone.
Re: Video: Jessie And James Are Confirmed For Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu And Eevee
I was excited. Now I’m EVEN MORE excited. I started playing Pokémon Yellow just before the announcement. I put it down and decided to wait
