Re: Talking Point: Would You Buy A Digital-Only 'Switch 2'?

AndroidiOS

NOPE!

I don't like the idea that a games company can stop me from buying games secondhand.

Also, my eShop copy of Double Dragon Neon REFUSES to work and I've Googled it and tried everything.

Even Nintendo don't know what to do.

Thankfully, I do have it physically (via Limited Run Games) so it's not too much of an issue but imagine if my whole digital library didn't work!!!

Ollie Reynolds, staff writer:

"Much like Gavin, my Switch collection is mostly digital, owing to the fact that I am now in a significantly different place than I was 5 or 10 years ago. I'm married, have a child, a dog, and a house to call my own; needless to say, space has become a rather important commodity, and not one I'm willing to fill with plastic cases."

How big are YOUR Switch cases?

Regarding X-Com 2 "There are plenty of... bugs that we've already encountered on other platforms and the not-insignificant – but hopefully patchable – problem with the game's character creation pool".

THEY NEVER FIXED THIS SO I SOLD IT!

I had spent time creating my friends as soldiers only for the game to not show them for selection.

Also, I second Valkyria Chronicles 4

Re: Soapbox: 'Switch 2' Doesn't Really Need Backwards Compatibility

To be fair to the article, I have a DS and a New 3DS XL and I NEVER play DS games on the newer handheld.

I did put Lunar Knights in the 3DS to see how it'd look but I certainly didn't play through said game.

If playing physical games, I prefer to use the cartridge/game card in the device it was made for.

Also, as regards the E-Shop Games, IF they are to come over, there had BETTER NOT be some 'pay a small fee' a la the Wii to Wii U, which was the main reason I never bought a Wii U.

NFS:HP is STILL an excellent game, despite its age. I prefer it over Bo: Paradise

Cruisin' Blast is OK but once I levelled up my cars, I never went back to it.

Grid: Autosport is good but a bit of a slow burner.

Battlefield 1943

Because the servers are finally being switched off in December which makes NO SENSE as you can STILL get FULL 12v12.

And this is a game from 2009!

I started playing in 2010 on PS3 and soon got to level 50. I'm half that on the XBO.

I still love hiding in my old favourite spots but DAMMIT am I bad loser😡🤬

I've already finished with the TMHT:SR DLC.
I'm not trolling but I've been playing Battlefield 1943 on X-Box One very much most recently as the servers will be shut off in December. It's one of my favourite Games on the PS3 (which I sold in August 2017).
Either I've lost my touch or the XB control Pad isn't very good...
Switch-wise, I've briefly stopped playing Pokemon Sword. I'll be getting the Violet DLC soon and don't wanna Pokemon myself out.
I've also decided to look at my games collection and sell off what I'm no longer playing as they are just sitting on a shelf.
Also, thank you to @MrMike for telling me how to do bold text.
