Gold and Silver will likely forever be my favourites and the remakes of them were great.

@Axecon They will lose some from casuals/parents/grandparents who don't realise its the same game but FIFA were asking like 1 billion for 4 years from EA just to use the name.

The punishment of jail plus 25-30% of his gross income seems extreme, like I understand he would have made some money off it but find it hard to believe he made anywhere near $10m.

Finally, been wanting this for years after playing the first one and hearing there would be a second game.

Meh wont be the same without Ash so no interest to me but I'm an old head.

For me it is simple, in Australia console games are almost always cheaper physically (day 1 or on sale) so there is not enough incentive for me to go full digital like PC games.

Don't remember if it was Red or Blue specifically as I ended up owning both so I put Red.

Gold/Silver/Crystal was my favourite by far though and the remakes on 3DS are amazing.

Love the guy but 60fps should be standard no matter what.

Resolution should be the variable, whether 1080, 1440, 4K or whatever.

Aside from regular games then probably RDR2 on PC, been sitting in my Steam library for too long and haven't started it.

If not that then Pokemon Arceus, bought it on sale few months ago but haven't started either.

It wasn't even the best when it came out... Mario 64 is better and that isn't even considering all the other games since then.

Honestly, should have asked for a re-release or remake because it would have a much better chance.

All they have to do is make a more powerful version of the Switch and use the existing library with better resolution and frame rate options.

Sounds interesting as an emulation device, been thinking about doing something with my OG Switch but would prefer windows based.

I don't get why so many comments are being negative and saying they only care about offline play.

I prefer offline play over online as much as the next person but Nintendo improving the online experience isn't going to impact people who want to play single player/offline games...

We are used to technological stone age treatment here in Australia.

Normally I'm not a fan of games being leaked/shared online early by people like this but for a game of this nature there isn't any big spoilers or anything.

Kirby already part of a sale for AUD$40 from one of our major retailers here in Australia.

Don't know if it is overstocking or what but Nintendo stuff seems to always be easily available in Australia.

@Ade117 The last 3 episodes of book of boba fett are like mando season 2.5. so I'd watch those as well.

@BenAV It was the same on Switch launch, walked into a store in a major shopping centre and was able to buy day 1 without a pre-order yet those overseas were losing their mind at no stock available.

My day 1 Switch is still going strong and the joycons are fine.

To be fair I don't use it a hell of a lot outside of big releases that interest me and take care of it.

Was hoping to upgrade to a newer Switch but the OLED wasn't enough for me to make a change.

First mainline Pokemon I haven't gotten day 1, may give it a go at some point.

I don't really care either way personally but having options that don't impact either player seems reasonable to me plus they have offered being able to do that before.

Never played or owned them but had they been physical releases I might have bought.

Even though I'm lucky to have good internet still wouldn't touch cloud gaming for anything.

Meaningless if you are Idle for like half the time.

Since they have a fair amount of DLC planned will wait it out for a complete edition.

Shame that Christmas is in summer down here in Australia so this jumper trend isn't a thing here.

There are tryhards and there is skill based-match making so I would stay away if I were you.

Even back when I played years ago (before Switch online became a paid service) it was full of tryhards.

I'd sure as hell hope it did comparing new technology costing many times more to the Switch.

Even if the units were non-functional that is still a lot of spare/replacement parts being taken from circulation.

They will have my money if they do it, played USA and World so much on N64 as a kid.

Didn't know there was a third game back in the day and definitely would like to try that as well.

I dont get how GTA V is still at the top, I feel like anyone who has even a vague interest in the game would have bought it long ago.

Oshawott because Houndour is a catchable pokemon which will fill the fire spot of my team.

I might have to pre-order this as it looks better than I expected, will still hold off till closer to release though.

The term has been diluted from independent published games to not AAA as it is the trendy thing to associate.

It has gone beyond the point of no return now so I just ignore it as no more than a marketing tactic.

Yeah thats what I did since online has no interest for me. Even sold it as it felt like the first pokemon game for me not to warrant another playthrough someday.

My parents/family weren't tech savy at all so my first experience with video games was at a cousins house.

Their son had a n64 but he wasn't home (guess he was at work/school) so I played whatever game was in the machine which happened to be mario kart 64 and played for hours till it was time to go.

The game looks fun but it appears to be basically a full price game at $60AUD here in Australia.

Guess I'll wait for a sale one day.

I get the questions of legality and stuff but the obvious answer is emulation until Nintendo offer a service themselves (if ever).

Mobile games are slowly ruining things for traditional gamers, there would surely be more content for MK8 or even a MK9 release by now if not for this game.

Remove a zero and get a more interesting character and it might be remotely worth a look.

No chance they changed anything, the whole console is about minimal upgrades.

Even though I have an OG model I don't use handheld mode enough to justify an upgrade from day 1.

I mean that is on them if this had been a pro version, with minimal research they would have known the potential for a pro model and considering it is 4 years old it isn't farfetched.

Could have at least had the newer model give extended battery life in handheld mode.

If there is no performance increase then no point in a re-purchase for me, would have been instant pre-order if there was cause the other features are nice enough additions.

I cannot believe we haven't gotten Mario Strikers yet.
