Already got suckered into paying the Founder's Pack but oh well, can't be too careful on how we spend our money. It's a good game that I enjoy so far and I've been busy playing Siege mode against AI players to practice some characters with either human and/or AI players. I'll play the PVP modes much later on in the summer.
Super Sidekicks 3 will be my next purchase from that list and maybe The Last Blade 2. I've played Super Sidekicks 3 from the SNK Classics Vol 1 collection. It's a great footie arcade game with good music and great visual goal sequences.
I'm picking this up from my local gaming cafe today. This will be a must-keep for me with three of Street Fighter III games included that I have good memories playing on my Dreamcast. This game will make an impact on eSports. Plenty of games in one collection makes it an all-around challenge for tournament players.
I was pretty happy with the victory of Team Donnie. I usually screenshot the results of votes, solo and team percentage and finally, the final score. After seeing the results I decided to order a 14 inch margarita pizza all to myself. Well done to both sides.
The Pinball Arcade is coming out tomorrow. They confirmed it on their Facebook page. The pricing on the tables have gotten cheaper with the loss of Williams/Bally licences. I still will have enjoyment from STERN and Gottileb tables when it comes out. Great selection of games out today and tomorrow.
They provided an update on this yesterday. I long became a backer before the announcement was made. I can say for sure they'll be able to reach their goal of the amount that is needed for their project, especially with the news of Yuzo Koshiro composing parts of the 198X soundtrack.
Lost the first round of the Splatfest as Team Leo. Very disappointed that I had a streak of losses that Saturday. The second round was a great victory for Team Donnie. I didn't contribute much due to connection problems but still a win is a win. I'll be taking Donnie's side again for the final but I can only play on Saturday to make it to Donnie King. I am busy on Sunday so I'll get the results after coming from the train.
Who knows what it could be? "Shock the world" should indicate something. Splatoon 2 already has PVP and PVE modes so whatever this is, may be a new mode.
I will purchase this game. I am entirely new to the series and I do like some co-op work with other players. I'll clock in so many hours into this game I'll end up forgetting about the others.
The church bells have officially called for VC's time. This doesn't disappoint me a bit. We are receiving Neo Geo games, a wide range of indie games and SEGA AGES will be on the way soon. I already have a Nintendo Wii to play GC games and planning to buy more.
I hope this game will sell well. I can wish the developers well on their success of their game. Battle royale isn't my kind of gaming genre to play. If Fortnite will be announced at E3 or after for Switch I wouldn't even get it.
I will commit to paying €19.99/$19.99 when it launches but I am sure this will go up in price within the next coming years. They did listen on cloud data so that is good news since it is highly requested. Not really interested in the NES games but it'll be joyful those who want to be play online against other players.
I've backed two projects before this came. One was successful, the other didn't go ahead. I will put my money on this one next week and I do hope it will achieve its target because it looks pretty good and may have a good story to it if achieved.
Out of all those games only Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection is what I have pre-ordered. I will also get a hold of 'Wolfenstein II the New Colossus' much later during the summer after I get my 512GB SD card for games that I cannot get physically.
I've played Baseball Stars 2 SNK Classics Collection on Wii. Not a bad game despite not from the US. I do want to see Super Sidekicks 3, The Ultimate 11 and NeoGeo Cup 98 onto Arcade Archives. Great memories playing them.
Haven't been caught on TMNT since the late 80's to early 90's cartoon show. I was always a Leo fan because of having katanas on each hand, pretty much slicing and dicing. I do welcome this idea but it must be rare to hold an event such as this one.
Haven't seen much of Fist of the North Star fighting game. Despite owning the DVD that only shows half the series however, I do like to see the fighting game come out. The first Guilty Gear that came out on PS1 would be a nice welcome. It's clear to me Arc System Works are getting in on the Switch action.
Absolutely brilliant news. I have it on Steam on my college laptop but seeing it coming to Switch makes it much better. Can't wait to hear more of that metal glory and test my fighting skills. Hope for a sound test to come alongside it.
I bought this game the moment it came out. Didn't wait for a review and ask for opinions on it. It is a fantastic game to play with plenty characters to choose from and combat mechanics gives it for a better variety on doing combos or short juggles. I do recommend it if you truly enjoy beat em ups.
@RadoGoji Used to own a Six-in-one pack including Gain Ground before AtGames got the hold of the Sega products. Discovered more from The Sega Mega Drive Ultimate Collection (Genesis Collection in the US). It's such a good game with music composed well from stages 1 and 3. Short but worth remembering. By memory I struggled more on stage 4 on the Mega Drive version.
@RadoGoji Glad to see another person who likes the game. I was expecting myself to be alone on it but I guess someone has a sharp mind on deploying the right character into battle. What got you interested in it?
@Joe-b Skies of Arcadia is one Dreamcast game I haven't played but there is a demand for it and this is one game that should be included. Soul Calibur would be another one to add but that's up to Bandai Namco. Fingers crossed for Skies of Arcadia and more Dreamcast classics to come.
I love to see Sega Rally Championship and Sega Rally 2. Where's Daytona USA 2? It never had a console release and I'd be driving on Forest Dome/Astro Waterfall Speedway (Beginner course) for loads of hours with fantastic music. Crazy Taxi will be a nice addition in the hopes they have music from Bad Religion and The Offspring.
@SegaBlueSky I am not on Twitter but after reading that Tweet in regards to adding Saturn and Dreamcast games on the Switch in the future this is most certainly massive news.
Definitely will take Gain Ground. Great music and little thinking involved. Since it is the arcade port they are coming out with, it'll be 4 stages with 10 rounds. I've completed the Mega Drive version on hard and I was very happy on seeing the ending but the last boss in the game is such a challenge on both versions.
Nice to see this "Huge Announcement" has gotten Switch owners attention although not that surprising to say the least. I do like to see some arcade classics from M2 to be on the list. So i see Sega are still relying on AtGames on making their Mega Drive Mini. I bought one of them portable consoles by them and what a disaster it was for buying it.
Played the first Shenmue on my Dreamcast. Such a fantastic game and absolutely enjoyed every bit of it. Very disappointed that it isn't coming to Switch unless kept a secret to be announced at Treehouse Direct. If not, It'll have to be a miss. Not willing to spend more money on another console.
Glad to see this come along to the Switch. Lately I've been busy watching YouTube videos on pinball tutorials and tournaments to become a good player. I expect one table to be free to play which is Mary Shelly's Frankenstein and the rest in packs. A week later after release I'll get all tables.
Had a great time playing the Splatfest. Already got Splatoon 2 pre ordered a month ago and ready to collect on release. Well done to Team Ice Cream for winning. There were very tough battles along the way but hey, it went well. See you all in the game.
Perfect timing to be watching all of the shows. Haven't been watching any Nintendo E3 and Treehouse live shows at all so this will be a new experience. Crossing my fingers for a new F-Zero to be revived.
Played this on SNK Arcade classics on Wii, it is a good game. Windjammers and Super Sidekicks 3/Neo Geo Cup 98 are my wishlist of games I like to see on the Switch.
Pretty happy to see this coming onto the Switch. I feel happy to play against AI than online players, I don't feel comfortable on playing online yet. Maybe it must've been deja vu or something to see this coming but not as soon as I thought.
For May I got Ultra Street Fighter 2 pre-ordered on Amazon UK. It'll save me on spending €70 in GameStop. For anyone who is Irish including me, I have proof that this is a shocking price for this game. I don't hate GameStop by any means, I am a customer of them. Redout is another game I'll buy in June.
I recognise some players that appeared in NBA: Hangtime and there is a big list I haven't seen or heard of. Dean Radja and Rick Fox from the Boston Celtics are not the list. Charles Oakley isn't on it either, I am sure enough he was a great player for the New York Knicks. Kobe Bryant isn't there too. In the end there are a great list of players and will buy the game after a week.
Another Neo Geo game to look forward to. It was a real money eater back in 1990. I love the sound and music from it. I can also see references from Stanley Kubrick's 'Full Metal Jacket'.
I'm getting Shock Troopers at day one including Fast RMX. Definitely a great start to the UK eShop. I am hoping to see NAM-1975 and Neo Turf Masters make their way soon.
I done a currency exchange from Yen to Euro. It is exactly €41 at the moment while the eShop version is €38. I'll mostly likely wait for a sale when the game is out.
Fast RMX is my type of game. Never tried previous sequels so this will be a good and fresh welcome for the Switch. I'll purchase it as soon as I get my Switch set up at launch. Shin'en Multimedia definitely put a lot of work into this. Still hoping to see F-Zero to come out on Switch when Nintendo make their move on doing so.
A 194X collection will be nice. I love those games, I had great fun with 1942, 19XX and 1944 together. If not, it could be something more surprising like a collection of side scrolling beat 'em ups. Licensing could be an issue but that is up to Digital Eclipse. One can only hope.
A good update to start with. Not interested in social media and a browser but everything else sounds fine. Any mention on enabling SDXC cards? I have a 64GB Kingston memory card ready to use.
Missed out on the previous game when I had the Wii U. Fortunately this game and Redout will both be purchased because I like futuristic racing games and the music on Fast RMX sounds very energetic and hyped. As for F-Zero, I can wait until Nintendo have an announcement of it and if GC VC is going to happen I'll instantly buy F-Zero GX. My favourite racing game of all-time.
