@jcvandan Just wait until you're targetted by a tarantula or scorpion - you're opinion may change! At least in this game you can jump over something to avoid them - no such luck in previous entries. You don't know the meaning of panic until you get sighted by one of those bad boys!! Not to mention the bees/wasps...!

@gautheryannick.

That's a rather dumb and lame response.

A stylus is not necessary and is not even available for Switch - it's nothing to do with Nintendo marketing. Just use a finger, like every other touchscreen compatible game on the Switch.

Squares can be enlarged easily by scaling - pretty much EVERY mobile phone version of grid based puzzle games can do this.

"Good for them" seriously? Not adding in more control options makes the company good? How is that a good thing. You can add without taking anything away, you know. How is adding touch screen only a "half-working" feature. D'oh!

And yeah, it's my choice to buy or not. And I won't.

@meppi64. Adding touchscreen takes seconds for a decent dev - Picross really is an easy game to develop. These ports are P!$$-poor lazy. Honestly. I've developed Picross games myself and it's a doddle. By all means have D-Pad control, but at least offer the option of touchscreen. I love Picross and have all the "e" games (despite the price of each, which is a few quid more than they should be), but I won't be buying any Picross game on Switch unless it offers touchscreen. To me, touchscreen has always been the way to play - on paper you use a pen to play, on DS/3DS stylus. Why not touch control on Switch? It isn't logical not to offer touchscreen/

Personally, I'm hoping for proper emulated SEGA arcade games, rather than just MD ports/re-releases. Why play, say, MD "AfterBurner II" when you could be playing the arcade version. Or arcade "Space Harrier" instead of MD "Space Harrier II." Same goes for all other arcade titles too - "OutRun" (+2 please! it was on original XBox), "Golden Axe", "ThunderBlade", "Flicky" etc. etc. The Switch could easily handle these titles. I'd much rather these titles than yet another "Sonic the Hedgehog" re-re-re-release. I'd love to see "Get Bass" and the "House Of The Dead" series too. I don't just want crusty old MD games. I want those as well! Give me your all SEGA!!!
