Re: Talking Point: What Games Are You Playing This Weekend?

wasilewski

Mostly Shock Troopers as part of the weekly Caravan Challenge.

I also picked up Pac-Man CE2, Magical Drop III, and Samurai Aces. I've been playing Pac-Man the most, although all three are great. Pac-Man is a lot of fun and the graphics are fantastic and it looks great on a big TV screen.

@OorWullie It looks more modern and updated than the arcade / Dreamcast version. Some purists won't like this and would expect a direct port. I have to admit that I'm one of those people! I have fond memories of Zero Gunner 2 and would really have liked a direct port, with the original graphics as I think they help retain the original feel. It looks like that will never happen.

I'm going to keep my eyes peeled on some other gaming forums and wait to see if they fix the bugs so the gameplay will be somewhat like the original.

Re: Data East Arcade Titles Are Coming To Switch, Courtesy Of One Of Gaming's Worst Mascots

This is amazing news! There are so many great Data East games I'd like to see on Switch, if the released a load of them on one cartridge that would be amazing!

I'd definitely like to see the underrated Boogie Wings. It's a great shooter but didn't do well when it first came out, probably because it put a different spin on the genre.

I would also like to see:

** Bad Dudes vs Dragon Ninja
** Tumblepop
**Windjammers
**Crude Buster

Re: Review: Super Putty Squad (Switch)

I’m going to get this for the sake of nostalgia. When I got my Amiga 1200 for Christmas 1992 Putty was one of the first games I played on it. If only Zool came out on the Switch, complete with the anti-piracy code wheel, that would be amazing!

Re: Review: Sine Mora EX (Switch)

I pre-ordered on Amazon and I got 1.5 Amazon reward points and the game is only costing me £17.99, which is good. If it's no good I will just take it to Game and trade it in along with some others.

@kepsux Yeah i wish they would release more demos, especially when the games are expensive. I know you can bring them back or return them, but demos would do away with having to go to the Post Office all the time with games you don't like.

@GrailUK Seeing Cave games on Switch would be amazing!!

Aero Fighters 2 is a really good shmup, one of the best ACA shmup releases. This is probably my second favourite shmup on the Switch, my favourite is Strikers 1945. I'm just waiting for Gunbird or Gunbird 2.
