I'll not hold my breath, but I hope the issues are fixed. As it stands this is the most disappointing title I have played in a long, long time.

I just pre-bought this! Can’t wait to play these games on my Switch.

I can’t get over people complaining about the whole “$20 a year” thing. If you can afford a Switch and games then surely you can scrape together $20 for a year’s membership. Granted there are only a few games now, but that’s not to say that Nintendo won’t be releasing more in the future. If you do pay the money and really don’t like the service that much and don’t use it then it’s no big deal, $20 won’t get you a lot these days.

I’m not holding my breath for the online service. If they announce that it’s getting out back to 2019 I won’t be surprised.

Impressive anime style intro for sure, but I’d like to see more actual gameplay footage rather than a few seconds where I have to pause to check the graphics.

A fullscreen mode would look nice.

@WiltonRoots I've been practicing on "Monkey" level and then I'm working my way up. It's one of Psyiko's most difficult games IMO - and I find all of them very hard!

@GrailUK @sdelfin @judaspete thanks guys. I will preview them on MAME and see which one to get. I will probably pick up one of the Last Blade titles. I see Pocket Fighter is coming out this week so I might pick that up too depending on the reviews.

I dunno, having Jim Carey in a movie that will probably be marketed towards kids may not be a good idea. 20 years ago, it would have been perfect, not so much these days though.

hardcore SSB fans are a strange bunch. Some of the threads on the SSB Reddit are nuts. It’s a very hostile community.

I find it hard to see what's going on with the characters on screen due to there being so many colours floating around. I won't be picking this one up, although it's impressive looking for sure.

And this is why I’d never do any hacks on my Switch.

£31 is very reasonable IMO. I wont be signing up at launch though, I'll wait for a few months and see how the service progresses.

SF II for me. I grew up playing it and it has a lot of memories for me.

I bought it when it came out at £26.99. IMO this was way too expensive for what you're getting here. It is very difficult and the control system takes a little bit of getting used to. I hate to say it, but I feel that I wasted my money on this one.

I find this game exceptionally difficult. It's like your plane is too slow to dodge bullets and the plane is the hitbox, so some situations are impossible to escape. As @Shiryu says, it is infuriating!

@Haywired i completely ageee with you. These modern fighters go deep and it’s very hard to enjoy the game unless you learn about those combos etc. I will probably get SNK Heroines, as it’s supposed to be easy, but I will be passing up on Guilty Gear and BlazBlue.

@Platinumhobo you gotta stick at it! I was awful at the start because I’m so used to playing shmups by completely dodging bullets and Danmaku, as you know, requires you to graze against them for extra points. It’s a completely different mechanic from what I was used to.

Looks cool! I'm really into Danmaku Unlimited 3 at the minute and this looks like it's right up my street.

As a 12 year old I never got the SCAT (Sega Control Attack Team) reference. It's only now I'm catching on.

Looks cool, but Magical Drop III is still the king of puzzlers IMO.

The Japanese always got the better game art IMO. The artwork for this looks cool and makes me want the game.

A lot of these Kickstarters seem to be scams. I wouldn’t back one.

No way would I do this on my Switch. It’s fine the way it is and I have loads of games. Plus, it cost a lot of money and I consider it a luxury item, there’s no way that I’m going to risk bricking it or voiding the warranty.

Finally! For me, a D-pad is the only way I can play fighting games with any degree of accuracy.

I got Danmaku Unlimited 3 today and it is fantastic. If anyone likes the mobile game Aka to Blue then you will love Danmaku as they are both very similar. Danmaku feels like a modern era CAVE game.
