Great to play the original arcade version with better graphic,sound and all the animations and cut scenes.

Sony should have just used those PS TVs they had stockpiled and rebranded it as Playstation Classic since they played most digital Ps1,Psp and Vita games. It was $100 with a dual shock 3 and a copy of the Lego Movie

Playing with other people just to watch them fail is fun.

I understand with Street Fighter 4 when it first came out had an unlock system that was fun but i played less when everything was already there.

I think there is an Atari Flashback with 150 games coming the end of the month as well. (it's Vol 1,2, and the new Vol 3 that the other systems have)

@yuwarite I didnt play the game much, I bought Summer Lesson which was amazing. I don't have a problem with them censoring stuff. Im not a fan of the 4000 year old 13 year old girl stuff.

I have the PS4 version with VR cause science and stuff but that Volleyball game is crazy hard!

You can use the touch screen to play with Pikachu.

When you go to catch Pokemon you might have to move the screen left of right to line up the shot. It's almost like Pokemon Go with the AR turned off. I have the pokeball plus but that was to small for my hand.

Let's Go is great, it's not $60 great since its a remake of FireRed/LeafGreen with elements from Yellow.

I've played in Handheld mode and it's pretty good but I'd rather play on my TV without the wii motion controls.

It's a great entry point for new players but it's pretty much the same exact game which is pretty shallow by todays standards.

The Pokemon walking around in the wild is incredible and almsot creepy. I hope they keep that going in the future.

It should have been a $40 game and the Pokemon Go park that a lot of people probably bought it for is buried deep into the main game story line.

@Shadowmoon522 I get it, i used to edit the GB roms of the original games and we'd you the pokemon editors to remake the maps and which pokemon spawned. it was a lot of fun.
I think there was a way to inject your own sprites during the GBA era of Pokemon so i would put family members faces as pokemon. I guess when it hit the point with DS where you could easily get the fake pokemon stats it took the fun out of the game for me. I had more fun playing Omega Ruby earlier this year than anything else. Once Nintendo started handing out Mystery Gift Pokemon it made the game to easy.

@Shadowmoon522 I mean I get it, especially for the older Pokemon games where you miss out on stuff if you don't buy it day 1.
I used to set up my extra router just to get Pokemon on DS or back in the day use the Gameshark to Surf in Pokemon Yellow.

I just don't understand why in this day and age companies that know a casual market exists don't offer "easy passes" on games like this or Zelda where an Infinite Heart mode would let people to just have fun.

Why? There's only 151 pokemon and the game pretty much hands you to them. You're over powered by the time you reach Mt.Moon.

You'd probably have a worse time with your battery life on the poke ball plus and your phone

@Franklin probably a new DLC Fighter every two months starting with the Piranha Plant in Feb 2019

So if i preorder the Base Game i get 600 gold coins digitally after the game is released. I have til the end of January to get the Piranha Plant DLC Fighter either way.

I'd just get the eshop base game and use the extra 600 gold coins on the Fighter's Pass to knock the game down to $19 usd

Either way the Piranha Plant doesn't come out til probably Feb 2019

I was just thinking about that. You can have the complete collection on Switch since they were all included on the ps3/x360 version of the Genesis collections.

now if they released the updated version Phantasy Star Generations 1 and 2 that were ps2 era Sega Ages titles i'd be thrilled

want that Surfing Pikachu mini game? you need a n64 Transfer Pak, Nintendo 64 system, Pokemon Yellow and Pokemon Staidum.
You also can use a Gameboy but it's optional since you can play in on the n64

Diamond and Pearl starts in Season 10 of Pokemon in a couple weeks on Twitch. That's a perfect time to launch Gen 4.

Season 7 just ended today. I drifted away from the anime and movies around the Celebi movie. The Twitch marathon has been great to help recapture the magic. I went and finished Omega Ruby after not really playing a main line game since Soul Silver and never finishing Ruby on gba.

I pre-ordered it on Xbox when they offered the Full Collection with Season One, Season Two, Season Three, 400 Days and Michonne.

I was happy to have the whole game under one roof for only $20? after playing 1,2,and 400 days on Xbox 360 before they added them to the BC so I had 2 copies of some of the seasons but didn't want to start over as well.

I think if you haven't played Sun/Moon the Ultra versions are better.

I agree with the Gold/Silver remakes being the best.

I'd think the ORAS remakes would top even Emerald since they are much better than X and Y.(also have a ton of end game content so you can catch everything up to the X/Y generation)

It's hard to go backwards once you get all the quality of life improvements of the newer games.

It also doesn't help if you missed all the timed events when these games were newer. While you miss out on rare pokemon you'll have a basic and pure experience of playing the base game without over powered super pokemon that can 1 hit KO everything.

It's much more satisfing to catch a Groudon in Omega Ruby instead of using the one I got from Gamestop/Target by putting in a 12 digit code.

that's a massive improvement as well.
Everything is better from the game play ,graphics,sound and just overall look of it.

@OorWullie Vs Super Mario Bros is great, well worth a purchase especially if you like the online leadboards.

Donkey Kong is awesome as well. It's a dramatic improvement on the NES version and I had it on the 3ds as well when it was a special bonus with Paper Mario Sticker Star on 3ds.

if it's the FDS version of Vs. Excite Bike it's worth a purchase.
I don't think 3 difficulty levels and 2 extra tracks are wroth it if it's not.

@Gs69 Donkey Kong has the original 4 levels along with better music.
It's the best version of the game.

Super Mario just changes some level designs to make it harder and removes 1ups along with the 1up trick in 3-1,
