Its OK, you don't have to include something just because you can, specially if that is going to change the experience intended.

Outside of the gaming media there's NO marketing for it in Latin America (and inside it its few and/or biased), NOA has executives dedicated to that area, but it seems they are there just to fill the gap or sit there and look nice.

I prefer my SNES Zelda on SNES (Id think about it if it were a WiiU VC reward) already have Metroid (3DS Ambassador), Dillon (In April, to get its special note in Swapnote) and Cubello on Wii (Day 1 download), but since latest WiiU system update, Im getting WiiWare rewards for my WiiU... so Cubello for me this time.

I went with Dragon's Lair Trilogy (Wii) and Classic NES Series Castlevania (GBA)

Not the best downloadable games, but there are definetly worst games out there.

Even the developers name sounds a lot like DKC's current dev, Retro Studios.

@GazPlant Are you given the option to chose a country or a region independent option (Global, Worldwide, Other, etc like Wii Sports Club does) for the online games and leaderboards, or is it locked to your NNID or real location?

A little off-topic, that same Miiverse post says Wii Fit U is available now... maybe he means in Japan, I checked and its still dated for 11/1 on the American eShop.

I don't mind model swaps like C. Falcon and Ganondorf, the Fire Emblem characters on Melee or even the Star Fox characters in Brawl, they have very different looks, personalities and background, but this is not the case for the Wii trainers and Id be very upset if they left out another character because of him. However if this is another skin of the same character it'd be a great idea if implemented on more characters, Id love the return of Dr. Mario.

I actually tried Wii Street U a couple minutes with it weeks ago, its on its original box, right next to my gaming setup along with my NES Power Pad, but its not ready for Wii Fit U. Of the dozen of rechargeable batteries I bought back in 2007 when my Wii was young, only 2 remain usable, and my OCD demands a black plastic cover to go with my Deluxe Wii U (since there are no black boards in America afaik)

I don't have enough money to buy post-launch special edition systems and my OCD wont allow me to play games other than Zelda on that, but I'd be all over that special edition game with the chest if it came to America.

No, its paying again for the same game, and it annoys me that I wasn't given the option since launch as an early adopter (Im looking at you Ducktales Remastered)

It can be an explicit and "official reveal" of the stage, but we already knew it, It was largely featured in Sonic's reveal video, the name was the only thing missing.

I hope we are given the option to earn points for a region independent community (Global, Worldwide, Other, etc), like Wii Sports Club does. Most people like their country and its OK, but I don't have special bonds with any country in particular.

I don't care as long as the Deadly Six Edition is made widely available, also by the looks of the video it appears 3DS wont be getting this Special Edition.

@ThomasBW84 Has there been more information about the colors available for balance boards and fit meters (so that it matches my WiiU) or about a physical version of Wii Sports Club, at 19:10 of the last Nintendo Direct video it reads "downloadable version" but its the only lead/hope I've for retail release.

@JaxonH Its a six-axis motion sensor which includes 3-axis accelerometer and 3-axis gyroscope. But yea, as I said, I could be wrong on not needing pressure.

@JaxonH Im no expert in technology or measurements, but I think the six-axis motion sensor and maybe region information from the console takes care of that, I could be wrong but I still don't see the need for a pressure sensor.

@JaxonH Are you assuming it measures any of the data with a pressure sensor (cause I think all of the relevant data can be measured by the components I listed)? or did they explicitly talked about it (if so, I completely missed it, my bad)?

@ThumperUK thanks for replying. I understand the reasons behind the Wii Fit Meter, but it wouldn't harm having also the option I describe. I dont think I've seen black balance boards in America, but I could be wrong.

I hope they release more details on the DLC, the "deadly six edition" and its availability (I hope this can be as easy to find as Sonic & All Stars Bonus Edition)

I know there are going to be many people getting Wii Fit U who don't own 3DS and this purchasing options really benefit the customer, but it would be much more practical to offer a virtual fit meter for 3DS owners as a paid download from the eShop (as another option, not instead of the physical meter). I like to carry as few devices as possible, and carrying 2 with very similar purposes from the same manufacturer (3DS and fit meter) would be redundant to me, 3DS has also clock, calendar, IR/Wireless, Mii, pedometer and six-axis motion sensor, which includes 3-axis accelerometer and 3-axis gyroscope (only thing missing is the temperature display which is a gimmick not a useful feature) plus better memory and visuals.

Also I think they didn't mention a release date for the standalone Wii Fit Meter, the colors available for balance boards and fit meters (so that it matches my WiiU) and if there'll be a physical version of Wii Sports Club, At 19:10 it reads "downloadable version" but its the only lead/hope I've for retail release. I've tried this games (including the new) I agree with everything Damien wrote. I understand he also states clearly that's only his view, so whats the problem?

Sailing was also one of my favorite parts on the original, its so relaxing, specially with that BGM and scenery. I never understood why so many people dislike it.

The only info that was a let down for me (and a BIG one) was that the Tingle Tuner is replaced with some Miiverse gimmick (just include it via home menu, as most games do, it works just fine) instead of the natural upgrade with a wireless touch 3D Tingle Tuner on 3DS, or at least fuse it with P1 controller on the gamepad.

Id only buy Wii Fit U with Balance Board if it was black, already own a white one.

Id like Nintendo Zones and relay points in every country where 3DS is sold, I am living in Mexico, and this StreetPass deserted area could use a lot this. I know there are ways to configure home routers for this, but as Iwata would say "StreetPass' value would be halved, or disappear completely" with this workaround.

Id prefer a sequel made within the limitations of the NES (at least graphically)

I was slightly interested in this one, but the price and its slow pace turned me away.

Are there enough differences/extras to justify buying this if I already own it on 3DS?

I am living in Mexico and even when this country is economically and geographically very close to U.S. some Nintendo products arrive months later here, or they never arrive, but they are always TWICE as expensive here (the situation in the rest of latin America is much worse), so its cheaper for me to buy through ebay, even including insurance and shipping costs. Its clear (and very understandable) Nintendo doesnt care for some regions, but then why do they even bother to bring their products? As for translations, I am a purist long time gamer used to play my games in English and given the poor quality of translations, I am against translating games to languages other than English and Japanese even when none of them are my primary language.

@DarkEdi Im sure the article meant to include Canada with that term, but yes, Im also living in Mexico with no TVii on my WiiU and Id love to have that service available.

None of the above. I live in Mexico, Nintendo cares little about this place, so Nintendo Zone and relay points (among many other Nintendo things) have never come here.

Is WiiU also getting that limited edition shown at the end of the video?

A paid eShop download with no fees seems more reasonable to me, but I don't catch that many Pokémon and I prefer to leave them on their original catridge/card, so since I dont think Im likely to need that service ever I don't care that much .

3DS has a much wider install base and it can run VC GBA games.
