Most likely April's fool joke (I'd fell if it weren't for the comments), but it may be true, I mean its not nearly as crazy and impossible as the gamefaqs one, or as dumb and redundant as the one here last year (or the one before that) about 3DS. Its actually a nice, good idea for us and very doable, cheap and profitable for Nintendo (It would tackle my "If its the same game with no extras I'd rather track the actual cart" stance on VC, in the same way that Miiverse, GamePad and 30c prices did on WiiU)

Bought it on day one on WiiWare. I was holding some hope on this one reaching the threshold since it hasn't dropped from the popular list on Wii Shop since launch.

Its always really hard for me to pick a favorite, but out of that list it'd be MM2.

Is the patch doing anything else besides the promised freezing fix?

This feature reminded me about the Luigi adventure he talks about on Paper Mario Thousand Year Door, I've always loved the idea of a game (or at least DLC) about it, and what better timing that the year of Luigi. Come on Nintendo, make it happen.

I think he is overreacting and disagree with his view of Zelda and Nintendo as a whole. I agree with his comments (not his overreaction) about Wii U, except for the "hardcore" shooters he wants on Wii U that I didnt even knew they existed before media and "hardcore" gamers started ranting about not being on Wii U... and after some research, I dont have the slightest interest on them, as most Nintendo fans.

Nothing for me this week, but too busy with LEGO City and Luigi to care about this.

In my opinion third parties should focus and invest more in the quality of the game and not in those expensive and useless gimmicks. I love special editions and bundles, but I start thinking there's no sense in getting them when there are more than 3 different bundles of the same game and you cant carry home by yourself (walking) the biggest one. In most cases they are overexploited series with few to offer on the actual game.

It may not be mentioned in the Press Release nor visibly announced on eShop, but MH3U tools were released a couple hours ago on both 3DS and WiiU eShops!

If its not easy and cheap to get em all (just 2 or 3 travels to store), I will be skipping it

I actually decide based on gameplay videos, I only read reviews to get some details clarified and see what others are thinking and get an idea on how it'll sell.

I have literally thousands of coins, but I prefer having original game carts than VC and my System Memory is already full of DSiWare (I hate moving them to SD). I would get Kid Icarus because of the 3D effect, but I have it already, I preordered Uprising.

I love the Banjo-Kazooie games and own every BK game on Nintendo consoles, including this and Banjo Pilot. Glad to see it reviewed here.

Yes, the AX machines and courses can be unlocked in GX alone, but I think everyone is forgetting there are 3 custom machine pieces that can only be unlocked having your Memory Card insterted on an AX arcade. Great news for me, and any completionist! Actually, I take that back, this is a historical moment for Nintendo or F-Zero fans.

Same as @allav886 , my 3DS System Memory is completely full of DSiWare (also, Im not fan of moving DSiWare between SD ans System) and I prefer retro games in their original format. Nothing for me this time, Í only get 3DS games or WiiWare from CN.

I hope Retro City is still coming. Nothing for me this week, MegaMan 2 is a great game, but as most VC games I rather play it on my NES.

Voted for Ice Climber, since I'm 3DS Ambassador I'll just download the update. I am considering Ikachan and Puddle for the next time I add funds to my accounts.

I don't know if I should rush and buy everything I have been postergating from the Wii Shop Channel in case they are removing titles, or if I should wait and buy after the maintenance just in case this emergency implies my credit card info or Wii is at risk.

I am among those who say Joker and Vader shouldnt qualify for this list, they may have appeared as villians in some games, but that characters were not designed as video game villians and their popularity grew from other media. Also many people like me dont even have idea who that #2 guy is, unlike most of the other villians in the list.

@ThomasBW84 No need to apologize, the confusion comes (at least in my case) from the camaign's name and the Nintendo Direct Video itself, and not from this article. I just thought I would ask a reliable source like NL and I found this article appropiate to do so. Thank you very much for the clarification.

This and the fact that its called a TRIAL campaign makes me think that the 30 cents downloads will only work for 30 days or for the campaign period, having to buy the game at normal price after that period to be able to continue using it (In this case I wont be DLing this games). I am not an english native speaker, so I could've misunderstood or missed something. Could @anyone please clarify on this?

Until now I have liked EVERY announced and released Wii U eShop game.

I will wait for Nintendo published 3DS downloads to be available as a Club Nintendo Reward, and I 'll play Star Stacker on my Super Game Boy later today, so this time I will only be downloading the Amazon application for Wii and the 3DS demo.

I wasnt planing to huy it, but Im getting a free time-waster game since I wont buy anything for it. But if I were given a game I'd plan to buy I'd hate buying it in chunks.

It would be a kick in the teeth for early buyers, I hope we get it as DLC.

I have the North American version of this and is nice for a collectible, but I prefer the full silver GB micro (silver body, silver plates) and for gaming I prefer my Game Boy Player or my Game Boy Advance SP AGS-101 (redesign with brigther backlight)

I think it would be a nice feature if implemented correctly, I agree with making it optional. But not only that, it should have some sort of "quality assurance" in the difficulty of the achievements and a set number of achievements a game should have (no more, no less). In that way the Nintendo simil to "gamer score" could reflect a little more accurately a gamer's skill and effort, having people actually put some effort and skill rather than harvest effortless achievements in a massive shovelware library.

@SCAR392 You are right, I meant is cheaper, provided you already owned a tablet and an HDD, but I think that is most gamers' case so I didnt mention that. And while I think you mentioned good reasons why WiiU is a better option, I still think the most important reason (at least for Nintendo gamers) is that we trust WiiU will be as FUN as most of Nintendo's past consoles and games.

I see he's trying to say his console has everything that WiiU has but cheaper, but I think most Nintendo fanboys (like me) arent looking forward to the WiiU because of video services and HD (and 360's isnt even native full hd) not even because of the gamepad (at least not primarly). Most of us are expecting WiiU, for a much simpler reason, we trust WiiU will be as FUN as most of Nintendo's past consoles and games. I agree, it would be a best option for Nintendo gamers (I have been tempted once or twice to get a game for that console, and no, not the crap he mentioned, I would never play) than Sony's consoles, but 360 lacks FUN so its still far behind WiiU

I kind of agree with most of them, but DK Jr. Math and Urban Champion are way above this games on my book, and the worst ones were left out... Pong Toss.

I am not sure if I want this one but if I get it it'll be on WiiU, and no, not because of the so-called graphics, but because Im interested on the use of the WiiU gamepad.

Thanks @Shiromikio its been a couple hours now and its not there, its worrying me cause I dont want a faulty rigistration to keep me from getting DKOE. But another user in the forums told me it takes a couple days, Ill just wait and see.
