This used to be my favorite game series until I find Danganronpa, the character there and humors are much more entertaining even though quite out of this world compare to AA.

Anyhow, I will still buy another 2ds just for this game and corpse party.

I don't think Phoenix wright sell over 2 millions.

They still make new installment and spin off. Just that they don't even bother to make game card for NA market.

This year has been all about remake and reboot and sequel thats actually more like a spinoff.

I find myself leaving nin hardware because i only play ds game. Hope 2016 will be better and Nin is in desperate need of good third party titles that not from Capcom

Never even heard of Chibi Robo before they made announcement.

Yar, I wanted an xl but 199 plus tax is quite steep.
Now they come out with smaller n3ds but price them $219. I don't even think I would enjoy Happy Home design as much because it was my least favorite part of new leaf. Did check further review on the smaller version and I guess I might as well go with the XL. hands too big.

Reviewer forgot to mention the rarity of this genre for 3ds. We have senran and code of princess. The rest are mostly rpgs. Ps vita has all the brawlers.

I currently has games cover in dust waiting for their turns to be in my 2ds so even they stop making game for 3ds, it would still be fine for another year or so.

Plus, Nin handheld is backward compatible anyway.

Their ios port is okay but still no physical button is a deal breaker. How they suppose to make money with 2.99 game and not even famous.

To be honest, I love Phoenix Wright but I don't see million sales figure in Japan before it gets localize. Still, part 1-3 made it to the west. 4 and 5 even, except for Investigation 2.

But games like Yokai watch, which is a big hit don't even see the light until maybe 2 years past. Games like Lord of magna and Etrian have limited fanbase but still get localized. I just don't know how things work here.

Never did like Konami games, those memorial series seem interesting but I don't read Japanese and they usually don't localize after the DS.

Their Castlevania series is quite famous though but I find it redundant. Anyhow, good that they are moving to mobile because mobile gaming sucks.

Well, as usual... everything is going to Eu or jp and we, NA, are left with just this too big New XL and unchangeable cover plate.

Would look good on the Wii. But impossible to win if not multiplayer.

I truly believe it would make much more effort to make a game like Ace Attorney than some cute animal fighting game but at margin 6:1, it is ridiculous. Im sure Youkai buster is a good game but i expect Ace to get better reception.

I doubt there would be lots of content to a game focusing only on the house design but new leaf is such a great game, i might just give this a try.

I might get the new 3ds just for this and youkai watch, oh chibi robo too.

At least they should revamp the graphic.

Multiplayer would require wifi on always and 3ds battery is only 3-5 hrs on solo play already.

Games look for crisp on smaller 3ds. I watch side by side 2ds and new xl at best buy and Mario Kart on 2ds seems a better graphic than Majora on new XL.

Still if i were to upgrade from my 2ds, i would choose new xl. Its not much diff in screen size if i just change to base version new 3ds.

I think just Pokemon shuffle would already win them the market. Mario Kart is already legend. Konno san probably felt he got demoted.

Layton 6 is quite bad.
Turned Layton into some starfox 3d shooting game so i think they pretty much need a redirection of the series. Plus it is more safe to release on smartphone since they dont have to invest in physical copy.

I would prefer a physical copy when the game is $40. I dont care about packaging if i pay $1.99 for the game. Also, it could be collective items, Nin is doing better job promoting the eshop but seriously their old/current model took almost 3-5 mins accessing the Eshop. I guess new XL is much faster but we can't even find one to guy here.

Same here, I might as well pay some in the future. Just don't know what to spend for. I enjoy daily 5-10 matches and im off the Professor Layton adventure for another 2 hours or so and my day is finished.

I think the machanic of the game is just like any other mobile game aside from the pokemon selling point. On mobile, u keep on playing because it is a fast pace, quick play game you can do at work place or in restroom. Put it on 3ds and i became time killing when your battery is already red.

I kinda agree with some comments here.

If one day Nintendo decided to start with Pokemon shuffle for IOS, then people will start asking them to bring Pokemon x, y to Iphone. Then Fire emblem, Mario franchise. At the point, Nintendo board could be devided. They might feel reluctant to continue with Wii U or 3DS.

I like portable console. I replace my Ipad with a 2DS and now i know what real gaming supposed to be. Nintendo 3ds still sell like hot cake so why go in to market where all your competitors make games like "angry birds"? that just degrading.

I dont want to unscrew the new XL just to get the card out. Maybe this way, no need to reload my eshop games.

I think this is been said last year about how they might develop a mini version of the game that has the full version on 3ds or somthing.

Why not make games like Sakura Samurai, Mario vs Donkey Kong and sell it on Iphone at 9.99 or 4.99 or whatever. Because if you own a 3ds and there is a cartridge slot then whats the point of downloading casual games when you can play Zelda: Majora mask on this device already.

New XL seems like amazing device. Puting Nin game to mobile would be degrading.

If ever, we should have Nintendo Smartphone that can play a mini version of all Nin game but still you need the 3ds to fully enjoy.

Oh, this is embarassing. New XL battery with 3D off is only an hour more than my current 2DS. Whats the point. I dont use 3D for all may games anyway.

Im not young and i bought the 2DS.

Because i see that 2ds is designated gaming handheld only. None like Ipod touch which you can also browse web, watch video and listen to music at ease. It took longer time to do so on 2DS. Hardware just dont pack enough motors to run multitask. So i dont want to spend 200 USD for a device that can only do one thing good. As for new XL, i would shell out $200 to get it because i watch the hand on and browsing web youtube everything is much quicker. Battery is better so i can use it for video/ online web browsing as well. its like my mini tablet.

I never know when there is a software update for my games so being able to update them on home menu would be a good thing.

Android is a good OS but it has many flaws which Nintendo, that we all knew, would not dip their hand into getting involved with. Nintendo could be considered as a close system. They even have locked zone for crying out loud. Its possible to have google apps on the 3ds but not the other way around. Nintendo is a hardware&software company, there is no reason to have that leverage go away. Plus if there are both phone and dedicated gaming device in the market, one of them would be discontinued. Nintendo games get you at least 45-60 mins concentratation rate each time it is turned on. Mobile gaming is a 10 mins restroom game.

Maybe my 2ds is too large to be carried around listen to music but since i got the 2ds nintendo red pouch, it seems i can put music in it and listen at work.

I have to buy new earbud anyway because Final Theathyrhm wont be fun if you dont put on earphone.

the game, on the other hand, i tried the demo. Its not that "i gotta have it" kinda feeling but again i love the "tomodachi life" demo and bought the physical copy. Now looking to sell it.

Pity how Nintendo spent years develop those masterpieces but stupid casual mobile game actually made more profits. Nintendo should make a phone or make games for mobile, it would buy it even if prices is 39.99, at least, i can play them at work without anyone notice.
