Re: Super Smash Bros. Pro Players Tackle the Problem of Diddy Kong

I don't really know much about Diddy, seeing as I'm unable to play online because of my absolutely terrible connection. However, I've been able to usually beat him in singleplayer using Shulk. None of my friends ever use Diddy, so I've never really faced another actual human being using him, which limits my ability to pass judgement.

Re: Poll: Which is the Best Pokémon Game?

I just can't decide. Most of the games are special in their own ways.
Pearl has nostalgia, Alpha Sapphire/Sapphire has a great adventure and soundtrack, Soul Silver was the one I've played the most, X has an amazing online, Black/Black 2 had great stories and had a great feel to them. To be honest, the only pokemon games I don't like were the original Red and Blue. Sorry, but without the nostalgia factor they really don't hold up at all for me.

To be honest, I was not that impressed with this game. It's difficulty curve was very strange, with the first boss being balls-to-the-wall hard, to the point where you have to memorize his animations for every attack, but then the rest of the game being very easy. The lack of things to explore also put me off.

However, the main thing I hated about this game was the checkpoints. You almost never saw them. Sure, they were helpful when fighting bosses, but many a time it was incredibly annoying just trying to GET to the boss, because you'd have to start all the way from the beginning if you died. Combined with the fact that some enemies soaked way too many bullets, this system really ruined the game for me.
This game is difficult, yes. But it's not "good difficulty" that rewards you for your skill with the game. It's just filler difficulty that makes you THINK the game is hard, even though it really isn't.

Re: Hardware Classics: Nintendo 64

Unfortunately, I'm a bit too young to have grown up with the 64. However, I've absolutely LOVED most of the remakes, like Mario 64 and Star Fox. Ocarina of Time was so-so, but I have high hopes for Majora's Mask.

I kinda feel like a misfit here, I actually like the controls quite a bit, haha

Guess it's cause I'd been playing Nintendo handhelds for years before I got a console, and am much more proficient with them than I am with console Smash.

Either way, I am beyond hype for this, and I need it NOW!

I honestly don't get the hate for the 3ds version :/
I don't really think it held back development of the Wii U version at all(Except for Ice Climbers, oh well)
It's a blessing for people like me who can't afford a Wii U. The only real gripe I have about it is that it can be hard to see everything on a standard 3ds. Luckily, I have an XL.
I think we should all appreciate what we've got, not what we wanted. Everything can't be exactly to our expectations.
