@Panopticon Yup, once again not sure if this is simply a printing choice or trying to to transfer the sprite colors into a facial style that the artist could work with.
Either way pumped to pick this up when shipments start being available outside of the USA, or asking a US buddy to ship me an extra copy.
@WoomyNNYes So one note, they remove a LOT of the annoying parts of combat (running around capturing points) and it feels great to play, look through some full gameplay videos its super neat how they did it.
@ModdedInkling He's right though, same with people complaining about Tifa's character change in the remake.
The company can make changes and it's not censorship, especially if they own the character.
We can disagree with the character changes (and are ok to do so) but censorship has much more devastating effects and calling everything censorship dilutes the conversation.
Buyer beware, there's no way a 30 000$ goal will help cover any of the Dev work needed for this game full time, so it's a project that the creators will be working on in their spare time.
This is not only a great looking Mario Ride, this is one of the best looking and ACCURATE theme park designs I've seen.
They put the money in to make everything look and move the right way, it's a small section of the park but it's PERFECT, which is insane to think about.
Long time nintendo switch owner, I managed to sell my decent collection for a large chunk of change but heres the thing:
One of the games in my collect was worth about 200$, theres a company that does repints that run at 25$, I would IN A HEARTBEAT sell the official copy and grab the reprint.
People are crazy, collectors are crazy, there's a reason people use emulators
Eye of Judgement is the only AR game that I have not laughed off in the past 10 years.
The main issue is AR doesn't add much more than a simple gimmick and then the games that do make use of it never get developped further (mostly because AR doesnt cast as wide a net in terms of audience)
There are good ideas out there for AR, but often VR does it a step better.
That being said a multiplayer puzzle game or an RTS would be an incredible AR game, but it's never going to happen.

@UltimateOtaku91 exactly, i mean i know they are trying to tie pokemon go and draw in a younger audience but the game design just wasnt there.
Re: Here's Your First Look At Stardew Valley's Charming Board Game, Out Today
@Jakiboy Sadly not but i spend money on specific interests. Some people like alcohol and video games, I have a budget for board games haha.
Re: Here's Your First Look At Stardew Valley's Charming Board Game, Out Today
@Jakiboy I mean... I cover the full costs haha.
But I do have some good friends in the USA

Re: Here's Your First Look At Stardew Valley's Charming Board Game, Out Today
@Panopticon As someone who has worked in card printing, i can safely say that this might be a move to make sure the card doesnt over print.
Browns and dark colors are VERY hard to judge when working digitally before test printing.
Not saying this is the case but its possible they erred on the side of a lighter tone of brown to prevent that from happening

Re: Nintendo Highlights "Promising" 2021 Indie Game Release Calendar
Rogue heroes is the only multiplayer that looks solid, but the artwork for the ads is awful. However, definietely gonna pick it up

Could end up being a very delayed kickstarter.

Kidding the handheld design helped a lot.
Re: Random: Pokémon Fan Aims To Build Sinnoh Region Entirely Out Of LEGO
I was not expeting the small scale, pretty cool.
That Metroid ship design from a few weeks ago though.... gah!!
Re: Donut County Dev Is Now Working On Neon White, A First-Person Action Game About Killing Demons
@OstianOwl basically the same, though it's definitely a weird one.
The big difference is that when you use a card in this game it doesnt get shuffled, its gone.
So instead of having a loadout of 5 weapons, you find the cards as you travel the level and spend them to attack.
Re: Video: Here's Bravely Default II's 'Final Trailer', As Promised In The Nintendo Direct
@mazzel Its based on the designs of the first game, which emulate the FF4 3d remake designs

Re: Nintendo Hiring Splatoon 3 Level Designer To Renovate "Existing" Stages
I know it will never happen but i would kill for 4 player split screen.
2v2 games in my home and 4 v 4 with 2 switches?? Amazing
Re: Donut County Dev Is Now Working On Neon White, A First-Person Action Game About Killing Demons
@OstianOwl Look up Kingdom heart chain of memories gameplay, exactly same thing but as a first person shooter.
Re: Donut County Dev Is Now Working On Neon White, A First-Person Action Game About Killing Demons
@michellelynn0976 It's a first person shooter, but each bullet is a "card" that you pick up around the level.
Took me a minute to figure it out, definitely weird!
Re: Minecraft Is Getting New Ore Textures, Except For Diamond, Which Is Already Perfect
@aaronsullivan i was gonna write the exact same response, still simple but layered complexities that add to the game if you want it.

@Sirloto Oh god i forgot about Terranigma, what a solid game!

Re: Review: Sword Of The Necromancer - A Dismal Dungeon-Crawler That's Best Left For Dead
Was absolutely not expecting this to be a decent title, despite the developer being very approachable.
The anime intro was really good but the gameplay was never very interesting looking
Re: Beacon Pines Is A Kickstarter Project That Combines Mad Libs With Night In The Woods-Style Spookies
@MidnightLaces 30k is nothing for a video game project. This is actually a red flag because the amount should be between 50 and 100k
Even with the bare minimum work that 30k is going to disappear very fast. Look up kickstarter projects in games, you would be surprised.
Re: Beacon Pines Is A Kickstarter Project That Combines Mad Libs With Night In The Woods-Style Spookies
This is frankly pretty impressive.
If it wasnt for a large mound of failed video game kickstarters from the past few years i would probably hop right on this.
That being said, I probably will pick this is up if it does release

Re: The First Review For Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury Is Now In
@Muddy_4_Ever Take a look at the replies in some of the reviews on other sites, they let us know the game was about 3-5 hours long.
Hope that helps.
