Update: Nintendo of America has issued a correction, stating that the previously mentioned February release window for Gnosia was a mistake. The game will instead launch in March.
A new, updated version of the Indie World newsletter can be found here. We've updated the information in our original article below.

Meh, I think I'll pass on these ones
I'm really worried about how Baldo missed their target release time period and is now completely radio silent... that game looks so fantastic!
None of them.
Back to old games hunting from Ebay and Tokopedia.
Yes we no there’s indies coming to the switch.. what’s new..
Gnosia is one that I've been super interested in ever since it released on the Japanese eShop. Can't wait to try it out once it's out in English.
It's supposed to release in February? Not long left in that window...
I'm excited to see how Tunche turns out. Wonder how the Hat Kid will play in a Beat em Up.
2021 is guaranteed to bring loads of indie and 3rd party games that I'll buy and enjoy, just like every other year has since the Switch launched. For me, the only developer letting the console down is Nintendo themsleves. Other than a couple of highlights at the end of 2019, I've been really disappointed with them for the last 3 years.
Only 3 Switch indies I am looking forward to in 2021:
I hadn't heard of Curse of the Dead Gods. Looks good. Going on my list.
Hazel Sky too...
Rogue heroes is the only multiplayer that looks solid, but the artwork for the ads is awful. However, definietely gonna pick it up
Eagerly waiting for Omori.
Sea of Solitude looks nice. Will have to take a gander at the others
Ah, man. Still no word on Baldo https://www.nintendolife.com/games/switch-eshop/baldo/news
I'm curious to see NL's Taxi Chaos impressions.
I hope we'll get an Indie World presentation in the next few months showcasing Sports Story, Silksong, and the Cuphead DLC/physical release.
Can I get the source for the Gnosia release date ? All i can still find it "Early 2021". I would be pretty excited if it came out this month.
No disrespect, but what a load of pants!! Role on Mario Golf, Zelda Skyward Sword and going for a drink down the pub beer garden in April
@SigmaNoire I'd guess that they were targeting February but it was pushed back after this was written. I'd be pretty surprised if it popped up in the eShop this week considering it's not in the coming soon section and there's been no news about it. I'd be all for it though. I guess we can assume that a release shouldn't be too far away at least.
@DockEllisD thanks for these, it was good to get a wee refresher on how they look. Sea of solitude has my attention.
Some really nice stuff here, pretty excited to see what the rest of the year brings.
Where is my Subnautica news?
Eldest Souls
Axiom Verge 2
Silksong
Those are the indies I'm excited about.
Will there be news on Switches Spelunky 2 release?
Aww, no Sneaky Sasquatch?
meh
What happened to Axiom Verge 2? They announced that way back in 2019 and it just fell off the face of the earth. I get that the pandemic probably affected things, but isn't it time they updated us on what's going on with that game?
yeah, no.
News on Bushiden, please.
NINJA APPROVED
Whatever happened to Eastward? That game looked cool but news for it has been mostly quiet for years.
Sea of Solitude wasn't received too well. I wonder if the director's cut will bring some improvements. I'd might pick it up.
When it comes to indies, I'm looking forward to Baldo, Eastward, Hazelnut Bastille and Heart Forth, Alicia
Yawn. And that Direct was awful.
Not a lot there for me but there will be plenty of indies I’m interested in as the year rolls along. There always is.
I spend more time with indies than anything else. Working through Hades and Cross code now.
It would be cool if instead of a photo listing, each game had a trailer accompanying their write up.
**edit: Thanks to @DockEllisD for providing.
Sea of Solitude and Gnoshia are ones I need reviews for to decide I think.
Probably reviews for all actually.
@OorWullie I've never regretted a console purchase before (not even the WiiU), but getting the Switch was a mistake. Played it for a month at the beginning of the pandemic. But now it's just gathering dust. I feel like Charlie Brown trying to kick the football. Nintendo ways promises that they have learned and they'll change, but they never do. I've owned every console Nintendo has produces, but this will be the last.

@Bolt_Strike Thomas Happ (i.e. the developer)'s young son suffers from a brain condition. For a long while, I wasn't sure we'd see AV2 this decade. Caring for his son during this pandemic, surely, could not have been easy. Patience, right?

@Ambassador_Kong I'm sure this won't be your last comment on NL, somehow, though.
A ver cuantos sacan en fisico
@Khron Physical for these games?? I had to wait more than two years for Enter the Gungeon and Shovel Knight, and those were already massively popular...
What happened to subnautica is it just gone
Gods looks interesting but I am curious how much it will be on
the Switch. On PC it is in sale for $17.99($19.99 reg) right now and I thinking about getting it. I am not a fan of the tops down/three quarter view but it looks better than most.
@Ambassador_Kong
You do not give any real details on why you are dissatisfied but this console has the most games in the shortest amount of time I have seen on any of their launches. I am not crazy about the direction the games are going but this is affecting all platforms. I would love to see more FPS, two player strat/battles and the like as opposed to the soap opera style animation of the current crop.
Other than that I am pretty happy about what is out there but the JoyCon problem is my real issue. I have been waiting since May of 2020 for service and I have decided to order the joystick myself and do it.
Sea of Solitude and Haven sky are the only ones I may potentially be interested in
@DockEllisD
Hazel Sky does look interesting but I need to see gameplay first.
Sports Story is the one I'm waiting for.
some potencial amazing Indies games here, but where is Hollow Knight Silksong Nintendo?
Nothing on Deltarune?
Hazel sky and sea of solitude look interesting, but I'll need to watch the trailers and see what the gameplay will be like first.
I'm most excited for CrisTales this year! I played the demo and can't wait for the full game. That will be a day one pick up for sure
@BenAV You might already know it but the release date is 4th March in case you're still wondering.
@SigmaNoire Yep I know. Thanks anyway.
