@Darlinfan Good question! I had very mixed feelings about it initially, but over time and with a very beneficial rewatch I grew to appreciate it almost as much as I did the original series.

@fafonio Okay? An excellent script needs an excellent director to visualize the episode, so nothing you can say diminishes that achievement.

I guess nobody remembers the several episodes of Breaking Bad that he directed, one of which (Ozymandias) is the only television episode in history to have a perfect 10 rating on IMDB.

Star Wars blunders aside, the man is an excellent director and should be remembered as such.

I say I’m tired of Atlus and their archaic business practices, but I can’t help chasing rereleases and special editions. Their games are top tier.

This is a single player game in my case so I don’t really care about more connection features. Keep that sweet daily grind in tact and I’ll be a happy fellow!

It’s kind of dumb that all of this was not put in the initial game. Animal crossing really shouldn’t have a “live service” type rollout when past entries had every holiday and every character already on the disc and ready to go.

@gcunit Because every Animal Crossing before this one has allowed you to oversee house placement and alter the landscape of the island. I guess biases are hard to shake, even when the evidence is right in front of you.

Gearing up for Animal Crossing. I'll try to make time for Persona 5 Royal, FF7 Remake, and the Kingdom Hearts 3 DLC sometime in the near future. But with AC there's no guarantee.

I love platinum to death but they basically collected 2 million dollars to release a game that was already finished. Something seems a little dishonest about that.

Animal Crossing is all I will be playing for quite some time. It’s a shame I am not able to play the FF7 remake to tide me over until March 20th like what was originally planned.

@PBandSmelly I imagine the extent of your activity in the demo is foraging for crafting materials to make a flimsy axe like we’ve seen several times.

I’ll still be balls deep in Animal Crossing if it releases in May, but I totally plan on picking this up later. I never got to play the original.

Weird Nintendo shenanigans aside, this game is looking to be a masterpiece that will keep me busy for years. The theoretical end to previous games is now completely gone since we can change the terrain and outdoor setups. Looking to be the best sixty dollars I’ve spent.

I like playing depressing games alone in my room, but I can also do that on my Switch with the PS1 final fantasies, Fire Emblem, and eventually SMT V ☺️

It also feels weird that there were so many remakes and remasters this gen too, and even though I enjoyed a good many of them I still felt kind of weird when I would pay for an upscaled version of a game that had either been out for a long time or one that I had played before. I’m really hoping we see a lot of new experiences or brand new installments to franchises next gen.

I'm really hoping Sony doubles down on the AA titles next generation; last year I didn't feel like there was much for me on the PS4.

This game is getting expensive. 60 for the base, 55 for the passes, 20 x the number of years you’re gonna want to play online, and that’s not even mentioning the controllers you’re inevitably going to have to buy since the joycons are so flimsy. The wallets 😰😰😰

It's the end of an era. Kingdom Hearts 3 didn't get a separate Final Mix, now it doesn't look like SW&SH is getting a third version.

Now if we could just get Atlus to follow suit.

Waiting for Animal Crossing has been my favorite game of 2019.

The delay is looking to have been well worth it for this title. March 20th is going to be a blast!

Lol I initially thought it said "Demon's Tit." 10/10 would buy again.

I enjoyed season 1, but too many people started liking it so I quit watching it. Can’t wait to finally catch up a couple years after the final episode airs and people have moved on!
