Congrats Aya Kyogoku! Splatoon and Animal Crossing have been shining examples of what younger developers and women developers can do in what has traditionally been a rigid and tradition based country of game development. I’m really excited for anything that comes out of Group 5 in particular.
@Anti-Matter I gave you an upvote because even though I like Zelda I respect your opinion and don’t feel the need to downvote you just because I don’t agree with you. The mob mentality on the Internet in general gets really old.
Animal Crossing being delayed wasn’t too big of a surprise, but that weird ass “2019” for Luigi’s Mansion 3 was pretty disheartening. Could it be delayed as well? Their two most anticipated games going into E3 have no release date or have been pushed into 2020. Nintendo won E3 for sure, but they really dropped the ball announcing those games in the September Direct then going 9 months without telling us anything.
But at least Animal Crossing isn’t going to be a 2019 game that’s as lackluster as the new Pokémon is.
@Jester151 Oh. I thought you might have been replying to my "Any info about AC (Animal Crossing)?" comment and was saying it shouldn't be there just because it's a game that we already know about. My apologies.
@Jester151 What an idiotic comment. There's no reason why Nintendo couldn't have Animal Crossing info and new games to announce in their direct. I smell an AC hater.
I don't think Nintendo needs a big load of surprises, they just need to get out the rest of the info and the release dates for the games they already have slated for this year. If they are able to do that, then they won E3.
It really is something to behold. A gaming franchise with as little effort put into it as Pokemon rakes in money and die hard fans at an alarming rate. And while similarly profitable and low effort franchises like Call of Duty have a large group of critics, it’s almost taboo to say anything negative about Pokemon. I do get the appeal, but Nintendo themselves have much better RPG series in their repertoire that sadly don’t get nearly as much recognition.
@the8thark I also don’t believe it’s a coincidence that their game ranking articles have the most current games at the top spot with that Amazon link right under it 😂😂 I question the integrity of the writers on this site, but I stick around for the decent community and the aesthetically pleasing site layout.
The prospect of a home console Fire Emblem really excites me, especially since Path of Radiance was one of my most played Gamecube games. But all of the footage they've shown for Three Houses has looked like the frame rate really tanks in battle, and I'm not really a fan of the art direction in this game either. I really want to be hyped, but this one is a "wait and see" kind of purchase for me.
I really hope Animal Crossing Switch won't heavily rely on NSO, because I just keep finding reasons to allow my subscription to expire come September. They really should have kept the online free with the paltry amount of benefits they have given us thus far.
I really wish this had a demo I could try out. I've been burned by indie recommendations before, and even though Zelda is one of my favorite franchises, the weird gameplay isn't something I'm sure I would like.
I really don’t want large chunks of the game dependent on extra purchases like Nintendo Switch Online or Amiibos. I want to receive a full experience with just single player.

Re: Nintendo Is Waiting For Next Level Games To Let It Know When Luigi's Mansion 3 Is Ready
Calling a December release date. They’ll need a Christmas season release to compliment Pokémon.

Re: Animal Crossing: New Horizons Won't Have Direct Connectivity With The Mobile Entry Pocket Camp
Looking to be the best AC game since Population Growing. Not being tied to a grindy, time wasting, money sucking mobile game is the cherry on top.
Re: Hands On: Zelda: Link's Awakening On Switch Treads A Fine Line Between Remake And Reimagining
I was looking forward to playing this game again, but I just can’t justify the price for what I know will be a short experience.

Really wish that announcement had been followed by a Rare Replay port.

Re: Amazon Japan Posts, And Quickly Deletes, Zelda: Link's Awakening Release Date
It's a game I'm wanting to play, but I am not at all digging the idea of it being a 60 or even 50 dollar release.

@Starcakes I figured that might be the case, but I’m so desperate for info that I’m constantly on refresh for multiple sites 😂

@Starcakes Anything about AC?

Re: Feature: E3 2019 Nintendo Switch Games Lineup: Pokémon, Mario, Zelda And More
Shin Megami Tensei 5 is probably too far away, so Animal Crossing is the only thing that matters to me.

Re: Video: What We Expect To See From Nintendo At E3 2019
Animal Crossing and Shin Megami Tensei 5.
A Kojima guest spot announcing surprise Death Stranding/ Metal Gear Solid Collection ports would also be welcome.

Good, this was the last game that I feared would steal significant amounts of time from an Animal Crossing reveal at E3. Gotta get my bells ready!
