The Switch is a portable console. Not a handheld. Much like the original NES was an entertainment system 😉. Not a video game console.

My son plays this whenever he is allowed to play video games. Basically, when he can play by himself, this is what he's playing. He's created some really creative stuff. Ultimately, we're all a little bit this. All three of us are on the spectrum. When we fall in love with a game, it's easy to forget about all other games.

What I wanna know is when are we gonna see Super Mario Bros: The Movie: The Game? 😉

This looks almost identical to a sticker book that was released here in the US about four years ago. My son and I had a lot of fun w/those stickers!

I mean, I just bought one for $59.00 USD/free shipping. W/tax it was just a tick over $60.00. I'll give it to my son for his birthday.

I play AW2 regularly on my WiiU virtual console. I don't care that much about the updated graphics. But the opportunity to play online is very exciting to me.

I'm looking forward to it. I don't have lofty expectations. But my son and I will laugh a lot, no doubt. There'll be lots of inside jokes and Easter eggs. Tons of cameos, too. I predict the story will be weak, but it won't matter. Visually it's great (probably). I hope it's not fully a musical. Then they just need to release: Super Mario Bros: The Movie: The Game. We'll see, lol.

I'll wait for a sale, then definitely but this collection.

I'm interested in seeing the official merch that will be coming out w/the film. Will there be Lego Super Mario: Super Mario Bros: the movie, Lego sets? How about official movie candy products? Will this film take a page out the Street Fighter series and release: Super Mario Bros-The Movie: The Game?

I feel like Nintendo is a little stingy when it comes to worldwide game sales info. I'm super curious about lots of titles. I would love to know how most of the games are doing. Mario Maker 2? The new Metroid and WarioWare? All the Pokemon games? Maybe some info on the smaller dwnld games too. Nintendo is Nintendo, I guess...

Not the end of the world, but this is disappointing. My brothers (we all live in different US states) and I have all preordered it. This Christmas was going to be off the hook! At least it has online play so we can still play when it comes out. But I was just looking super forward to: being together, playing together.

Great demo. I thought I wouldn't like it, but I did! Some of the characters are just trollier than others. Maybe it will balance out when the complete game releases. It just seems that some microgames were not made for some characters.

@Vyacheslav333, yea I agree. It seems like every time someone purchases a Switch they automatically purchase Minecraft and SMK8D.

@XenoShaun May I recommend opening up a Japanese account on your Switch? It's not very complicated to do and won't cost you anything. Then all of the Japanese NSO titles will be available to you. I don't even play them very often but just looking at all the Japanese game box art is fun for me. Cheers!

I played some of these games in arcade, as a child. Never super seriously. Just for fun. They were lots of fun. I'm not much of a racing fan but this collection is tugging at my nostalgia strings. I will likely have to pick it up.

I played the first two PvZGW on my PS4. Never tried this one. Maybe they'll add new dlc or something when it comes to Switch.

Switch still did pretty darn good. All things considered.

I've almost beaten it. First play through ever. Very enjoyable. Highly recommended!

I've gotten 1st place three times. I enjoy this game and I suspect that Nintendo will release more content (dlc), in the not too distant. Keepin it fresh.

@tylerryan79 I appreciate your thoughts and understand some of where you're coming from. Ultimately I believe that we have a philosophical difference of opinion. I personally don't buy games just to sell them much higher. But I do sell games sometimes. a couple years ago I sold my entire PS1 FF collection and received far more than I originally payed for it. I did the same with my Resident Evil Gamecube collection. Am I a scalper or price gouger? I sold games that I bought (in some cases decades ago) for more than I originally payed. They were part of my collection and I had played them all. At what point am I a scalper/gouger? Am I not because I am selling my old personal collection? I can assure you that a large reason I sold them is because I discovered that I could bring in more than they're original cost. I'd already played many times. The money they brought in had more value, to me, then they did as a collection in my basement.
I don't think most would call me a scalper. But why not? Because the games were old? Because I'd already played them? Because I didn't purchase them with the express purpose of selling them?
The seller you call a scalper isn't any different than me. He just sells faster. Vilifying someone for practicing an economically wise move is silly. These guys just want a return. Just a little faster. But we all have opinions. 🤷🏻‍♂️
Personally I am not fond of those app bot things that buy up everything, as soon as it's available. That legit seems wrong. But...but...in most cases it's not illegal. So where does this leave us?
I've already preordered this game. If I'm still alive in a couple decades and I still own this game, it is likely that I will sell this game. Hopefully for a profit.

Why all the hate for Paper Jam? TTYD is my favorite Paper Mario but PJ is great! I asked for it. The Mario & Luigi games are great. They scratch that rpg itch that many of us have. Mix the Paper Mario universe in...you have amazingness!!! I love it! My kids love it! My wife loves it! I love it enough that I own two physical copies of it.

@hakjie11 Rosalinas are easier to find now. I buy every Mario type toy up, that I can buy, when they first come out. I got 14 or 15 Rosalinas. For a while I was able to sell them for $75-$80+s/h. I have 2 listed now for $19.99. That seems to be the market, right now. Get them while they're cheap.
