@BAN its about 34.5M, they sold about 400k in japan in Jan and japan market is about 18% total global sales

is it just me or has nintendo forgotten they make games?

parks create huge revenue , disney make more money from parks than films

@beazlen1 same, must be a prude now , but seam very violent, i remember when first mk came out and oldies ( like me now ) where thats too violent and i was like no its cool but that was 16bit graphics or whatever, this is hyper realistic except for the fact that generally people dont get back up after having their brain punched outa their head

they need 37.8m total. from the media create wkly numbers they are currently 3.1m in japan which should mean around 15.5m global ( ie japan = 1/5 ) so still a bit to go over next ten wks, i think it will beat last yr but not quite make 20m, maybe 18-19.

all these Japanese games look the same

@NintyNate why would they do that, mk is one of the top sellers on switch and mario is currently top selling game across all platforms on amazon, if they listened to you they would have lost out on millions

the fact that it came out on another machine is not a reason to deduct marks from a game, review the game not its legacy, of couse mention so wii u people who played ( and somehow forgot ) that they played before but after that its a moot pint, nobody took marks off botw because it also came out on the wii u

@PuppyToucher i have 10000s invested in Nintendo, i follow it very closely 8.2 referes to global sales. at their last ER, total global sales was 5 mil. they have not sold 8 just in us

wow attach rate must be pretty high. yes out of 1300 u will have a lot of stylist shop simulation game , no doy. but just because its not a a AAA doesnt mean it cant be great fun. my fav game on switch was steamworld heist

Nintendo really are a hard company to understand , the first yr the project 8 mil sales and it ends up been 17. This year they project 20 mil and will prob end up been around 16-18 if lucky. dont see smash/poke making it past 20, halve the people buying these already have a switch. 20 mil will only be reached if china is in play
