@BlackenedHalo Sub-par compared to what? Nintendo has had weaker consoles than the competition nearly every generation. The competition is always weaker than PC. You want to know what will solve the problem? Just get all three market consoles and build a PC. That’s what I did. Play what you want where you want.

@Snatcher Seems to me they plan on continuing to add to it and don’t want to raise the price a second time. Like what Microsoft did. Only time will tell how far they’ll take it tho. There are very few 1st party games on the N64, so we’ll see. There’s also the Sega side. Personally, I’m hoping for Master System and My Card games down the line.

@Moistnado I’m assuming I don’t have to tell you that the WiiU used disks and the Switch uses carts. Anyway, most games on the Switch (including cross gen) drop in price of get a deep discount. (I picked up Fire Emblem and Astral Chain for 30 a piece last month) Your Mario’s and your Zeldas rarely do, but everything else does.

I keep seeing “Microsoft better not buy Nintendo” sentiments in these comment sections. Don’t worry about it. They can’t. If for some reason Nintendo wanted to sell, the Japanese government would step in and shut down any sales to western companies. Japan (unlike America) actually cares about anti-trust laws.

Japan actually cares about Anti-Trust laws. They wouldn’t let that happen, even if Nintendo wanted it.

Games will go on sale more often and we’ll likely get some Call Of Duty titles.
