Update [Fri 11th Mar, 2022 01:45 GMT]: F-Zero X has now been made available to Switch Online Expansion Pack subscribers. If you're not seeing it in your N64 library, you may have to manually update the app from the Switch home menu.
Original article [Wed 9th Mar, 2022 01:05 GMT]: Nintendo's N64 library for the Switch Online Expansion Pack service may have been a tad underwhelming on release, but it's already improved a lot since then.
Not only has Nintendo gone to the effort of fixing a number of issues associated with the emulation of certain games, but it's also bolstered the service with a number no classics. We've already seen games like Banjo-Kazooie and The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, and next up is the futuristic racer F-Zero X, starring Captain Falcon and co.
This absolute classic will be arriving later this week on 11th March. Over on its social channels, Nintendo has reminded Expansion Pack members how they'll now be able to race against up to three friends online:
If you haven't already played F-Zero X, here's a bit more about the game (along with a trailer above), courtesy of Nintendo.
"Choose from 30 different hover-car racers, including updated versions of the Blue Falcon and other vehicles from the original F-Zero™ game, and get ready to hit the acceleration! Race to the finish line on tracks that twist and turn through the air. However, you will have to avoid the other 29 cars on the track or else face the consequences! If you're in a competitive mood, try to win a Grand Prix Cup, get the fastest lap time in a Time Trial, or destroy the competition in a Death Race. You can also challenge three friends in the Versus mode. With five separate play modes, hidden vehicles and courses, and an excellent soundtrack, F-Zero X is a worthy racing title to return to!"

This is the closest to a new F-Zero on switch we’re gonna get, isn’t it…
Finally! This is what we've been waiting for!
Never played it. Maybe ill check it out.
I’m happy to see the game added—it’s an absolute classic racer on the N64 being added! But when I read the headline, mentioning the expansion pack made me think for a split second that F-Zero X on NSO was going to include the N64 DD-exclusive expansion pack for the game. Now I feel sad for expecting that much 😭
FINALLY!
It's not a new entry, but I'll take it. For now.
Well this will make a few people happy! I’ve never tried this title, so I’ll take a look later.
Hopefully it will lead to bigger and better releases for you F-Zero fans!
Do you think they will get those flimsy switch sticks to work well with this incredible game, let’s hope so xx
Cool, another game I'll check out in 3 years when the service is worth paying for!
Glad that I have the N64 controller, cannot even begin to comprehend how you’d complete the harder cups with the Switch sticks.
Dang, was hoping for Kirby 64 or Mario Golf this month, but we have Forgotten Land and the Mario Kart DLC, so I guess I don't really need them right now. Actually, I still haven't beaten Majora's Mask or Banjo-Kazooie and I've hardly touched Arceus. My backlog is getting kinda insane right now...
Anyways, I guess this is the first ever official F-Zero online game? That's a pretty big deal. Will definitely at least check it out.
@MegaRock That was F-Zero GX. So beautiful. So tight. So hard.
I may finally need to get switch online so I can play f-zero online with friends
I wanted this in 3D on 3DS so badly for so many years. It would have been a perfect fit.
Ah well. I'll take it in HD on Switch. Closest thing to GX or a new entry we'll ever get.
@nessisonett
I can comprehend it just fine. Sticks move left, sticks move right. Same as any other. They've worked for every other game I've ever played. Don't see how they'll be any different here.
I played Wipeout on Vita just fine, and that thing had analogs twice as small as joycon.
Now this is something worth subscribing for in my opinion, that and Banjo....And mario kart.
I still have my original copy in mint condition which I can play for free anytime but since Nintendo refuse to acknowledge that F Zero exists beside this and that you can play online then I'm very tempted to finally subscribe to their abysmal online service
It will be through gritted teeth though
Boring! We need a full remake of this classic game, perhaps an "Ultimate" version that would include the track editor and 40 of the best tracks from the 16 bit era, GX and AX, and all would support 4-player split screen and online play.
If this turns out good, performance and online wise, I’ll be getting the NSO expansion.
By far the best F-Zero.
An online F-Zero experience? Imagine the high level of competitiveness. This just got interesting.
If they added the Japan-exclusive expansion tracks and soundtrack to the package, I'd sign up for the NSO expansion the next day. I'm already considering it for Banjo Kazooie, which I've never played before.
This is a lot sooner than i thought
Sweet This will be nice to play with others online.
This really was just a random racer I picked up on The Wii VC and it’s absolutely one of my favorite racers ever. So glad we are getting this now!
SNAP I adore this game.
Can't wait to play online with some friends...
@MegaRock F-Zero X has four difficulty levels, and all F-Zero games are hard on Expert and Master. On Novice it's very easy, and even on Standard it's easy if you have any skill in racing games.
When I say "easy", it doesn't mean you'll win all the cups in your first attempt! It might take 3 or 4 for the later ones.
As for Expert and Master, that is a new level. I found Expert not too difficult if you could kill your closest opponent on the leader board. Doing the spin as you take off from the start line is quite lethal, especially as the grid is reverse order from the previous race. So if you finished a race fourth or fifth, you'll start just in front of your closest competitors and so the spin move can really change your fortunes. In some respects, your biggest enemy is crashing out and not completing a race, as your lives also reduce through the difficulty levels. On Master, it's probably essential to knock out a nearest competitor or two, whereas on Expert you can win by being fast and clean.
F-Zero GX is a different beast on Master, notably because some of the tracks are terrible. Barriers, bumps and off-camber weird bends - the enemy of the "holding the speed" F-Zero ethos - can ruin your race in a real hurry. Tracks without those I actually found not too difficult on Master. Ultimately, I gave up trying to win the final two cups on Master because I hated some of the tracks and lost incentive to race a cup over and over again.
Personally, I'd get the subscription for a month when you have plenty of time and try the game. It really is thrilling and tense racing like no other game can provide. In split-screen with 3 friends, it's just as exciting too.
Okay, the fact that they added online makes this tempting.
Ahh cmon Nintendo just make a new F-Zero game instead of tantalising us like this.
@PARK1755 More than likely 😥
I’ve only played the SNES game so I’m looking forward to trying this. I’m extremely surprised they’re adding another game so soon since we just got Majora’s Mask almost two weeks ago. Definitely no complaints here, and I hope it means they’ll be adding them at a faster rate, but that’s probably getting my hopes up.
Odd they didnt announce this right after adding Majora's Mask like the other N64 games but shows Nintendo just hates the series.
So should be the start of new unannounced games coming right?
@Axeco Ya think it's not worth it... damm u either just follow the sheep or ya don't actually no how good this service is now?. It's worth It.
I didn't get the chance to sink time into this one, so I'll get to do that now. I'm thinking of dropping some dime on the EP now...
Here we go, "THE FINAL LAP!"
The frequency of N64 games is going more then the SNES is or was. The exact opposite of what we expected. I mean we just got Majora's Mask. Now here's hoping they emulate it correctly.
@Diogmites I feel the same way. Honestly, I want to hold off on getting the expansion pack until they at least add gb/gbc/gba, Gamecube, and Wii games. However, if they keep adding DLC packs to it, I could be swayed.
@Xenobound94 You never know, they could drop the DD version as well, as a surprise.
Aw man I was hoping that the n64 game for this month was Kirby 64 cause of forgotten land coming out this month! You got such a good idea Nintendo and you wasted it.😭
But hey at least they FINALLY threw the f-zero fans a bone so I can’t complain.
LOVE THIS GAME. But i won´t pay for expansion pack to play the only Nintendo 64 game I like.
@Degenerate_Mii I know! We'll be well into the Switch 3 by that point. 😭
It's been a, long time since I sat down and played some F-Zero X in original hardware, I'm talking more than 15 years. So I more than welcome the addition.
@TheRealMr_Carpainter nope. Wave Race 64 is far superior.
Finally I get a chance to play a non-retro F-Zero. This better be worth all the fuss…
@Neoicelord I agree but be quiet for a moment and let us enjoy F-Zero before moaning for Wave Race.
want to point out that majora's mask came out about 2 weeks ago, so this monthly release thing seems to be going away. I'm all about that.
@Rykdrew its the only n64 game you like? thats crazy! Did you grow up with the game, or did you find it more recently?
@eaglebob345 that will probably happen, but it'll be drip-fed to us.
Nice. I never got around to playing this on 64 originally nor on Wii VC, but definitely gonna check it now.
Nice for Nintendo to acknowledge that F-Zero exists still...
Nintendo finally remembered that F-Zero exists O.O
@PARK1755 Not if Gamecube games get added..
Yes!!! Now give me my GX remaster you $+&-=® {^}¥{%=€=^}¢{®=€{ ¢}^{^=¥=%}¥}®{€}%{^{©{^{^{ $$
Maybe if enough people play this one they will understand and make anew F-zero game.
@BearsAndBattles
Incorrect. F-Zero is the better racer overall. Wave Race is fine, but F-Zero puts it in the dirt when it comes the thrill of mastering the various pilots and race tracks.
I've play this game, like in 998...will they ever put a new one out?
F-Zero X is my favorite game on the N64. I’d love to see this game get some online love.
F-Zero GX is my favorite racing game, and I've never played this, and frankly never really heard anything about it, so I'm legit tempted to finally get the NSO Expansion Pak for this alone.
Never thought a racing game could tempt me like that lol.
This is sick! I loved GX but never got to play this one. I still don't have the expansion, but it's getting more and more tempting. Now all I need to do is find more time for gaming to justify it. I don't really need a job, do I?
@MegaRock
You’re thinking about GX. GX Story on max difficulty and the final cup races are some of the hardest races on any racing game.
X is challenging, but it won’t make you want to slit your wrists like GX will on its hardest tracks.
That said, I vastly prefer GX. X is a great game but GX improved on it in every single way.
It’s really weird that the best F-Zero game was made by Sega.
@KnightsTemplar Hey, value is very subjective. I don't own either Animal Crossing or Mario Kart 8, so the DLC bonuses do not apply for me. I also am able to play many N64 games by other means, so why would I waste +$30 a year on one or two games I don't have through this service? When the time is right, I'll consider the investment to this higher Tier but for now, I'm happy paying the base $20.
@nowthisisepic That's a possibility, although it's likely for another reason. It's possible Nintendo was able to quickly get the emulation of the game to a level of quality they feel is sufficient for now, and released it early. As I said, it's possible the monthly release schedule is picking up speed, although I doubt it. We'll all know if this more-than-one-per-month continues over the next few months.
Glad to have another N64 game added to the line up so soon. I never really enjoyed X all that much, but absolutely loved GX. Shocked that a lot of folks prefer X over GX.
I'm hoping for the sake of those who love this game that the online multiplayer is better than Mario Kart 64's.
That's nice.
What else you got, Nintendo?
What happened to Kirby for N64?
It's too bad the awesome track editor from the F-Zero X Expansion Pak from the garbage failed 64DD add-on isn't included. You think with them constantly using the word expansion a lot that it would make sense to at least include some kind of expansion feature for the digital un-purchasable game like this, heck they don't even had to work hard to include it either as it's already an existing feature. It just needs to be patch into the game and they failed to do even that.
Yes, but will the 64DD ExPac disc be included? If that’s the case, I’ll give in
Oh how nice of Nintendo to go out of their way to fix glitches with their games.
Honestly, the barrier for success for them is so pathetically low these days.
@dudujencarelli Sadly, this announcement does not mean the game will have online multiplayer with RANDOM opponents. Rather - as with all NSO retro titles - it means you can start an online lobby and invite friends to play with you. Still a great feature (try it if you haven’t, it’s like being back in the 90s again on the couch), but not a modern online multiplayer experience.
Why can’t we play with random people online with these game ?
Cool, but I’m upset 😡 this should be the month of the Rosa fluffy ball. I had looked forward to play Crystal Shards again 😭
Hope you can do Death Race online.
The smoothness of this game at such high speeds is a real feat of N64 development. Here’s hoping the Switch version doesn’t mess it up.
@Not_Soos Yeah, no Mario Golf for Mario Day? Missed opportunity! 😉
I'd prefer :
Nintendo announces a new F-Zero
I can play F-Zero X on my N64. Lame
@DiggleDog the high Framerate was only possible because the graphics were pretty dull. The levels had no details besides the track itself and this simple made. And the vehicles were also pretty simple in polygons.
I loved playing the original F-Zero on the SNES app so I'm very excited to see what this one's like as well!
(also, it seems like they fixed the supposed framerate issues from previous versions on Wii and Wii U which is fantastic!)
This isn't Mystical Ninja...?
Do we know how many more announced as “coming soon” are left? Or now are we waiting for mythical unknown titles to be added?
A few more naysayers will be turning to the darkside now then!
@Angelic_Lapras_King Could be wrong but I wonder if it was because of the war in Ukraine
Who's ready for lag ridden split screen multiplayer? 😑
You got a boost power!
Ah memories of playing my cousin''s copy of FZero in 98 at the grand ole age of 6, with no clue what I was doing xD
Sorry if anyone's already noted this in the comments, so I went back to the Expansion Pass overview trailer from when it launched and there seems to now be 3 remaining games left from what they showed: Kirby The Crystal Shards, Pokemon Snap and Mario Golf... wonder what's next! and what comes after those 3!
@Stocksy as you can see here (https://www.nintendo.de/Spiele/Nintendo-Switch-Download-Software/Nintendo-64-Nintendo-Switch-Online-2067751.html#_bersicht => "Demnächst verfügbare Spiele" => "Next playable Games"; didn't found that section on Nintendo.com) We are missing Pokemon Snap, Mario Golf and Kirby 64 from the announced games.
@HalBailman I 100%'d GX on Master and I don't think I've ever grinded so hard in my life, that game is brutal.
What about restock those overpriced controllers? Nintendo really hates making money
I’m glad to see Nintendo calling out online play in the trailer. It’s been there since launch on every NSO game but that feature is weirdly undervalued and never mentioned in any discussions about whether or not NSO is worth the price. I think people just don’t realize it’s there. I personally use it to play Mario Kart 64 with the same people I played with in high school, and that’s easily worth the asking price because it’s the only practical way for me to do that.
Got my hopes up. Nintendo make themselves hard to like.
@Freek Mint Condition means you never opened it so you actually can’t play it at any time unless you free it from the plastic prison
@Neoicelord
Nah.
@RubyCarbuncle i assume if we all play this game a lot they’ll take notice
I'll admit this is tempting me to shell out that extra for the N64 expansion. Tempting.
About time they did SOMETHING with F-Zero. Too bad we'll never get another new game, because according to their own admission, they don't think they can do anything unique to justify a new entry. Nevermind the fact that other than Double-Dash, Mario Kart remains fundamentally unchanged entry to entry and yet we all love it and want more. So I don't know where they came up with that excuse.
@PARK1755 I won't hold out hope, but if Mario Strikers can come back, I think F-Zero might have a shot. Lets just hope they don't forget about Kirby Airride as well. It's a Kirby fans ultimate dream. Especially that City Trial mode. I want a new version of that with more features.
@nowthisisepic I play since 1979. I have 33 consoles here and more than 4000 physical games.
I know it's an unpopular opinion. But in my teens the SNES was my favorite console. Perhaps, even today! When Nintendo 64 came out I bought Day-1. But, I didn't like the 3d adventure genre that Mario 64 launched. So I didn't have fun with Banjo, Mario 64, Glover, Gex 64, Zelda Ocarina, etc. I didn't like FPS either, so Golden Eye, Perfect Dark didn't mean anything to me. Super Mario Kart (SNES) was my favorite game of all time. But Mario Kart 64 was the biggest disappointment of my life. The frame rate was very low, the feeling of speed was nil. I was very frustrated with the console. I loved the variety of SNES games and the games I played the most on the SNES were: Super Mario Kart, Super Mario World, Super Metroid, Super Street Fighter 2, Clayfighters, Killer Instinct. On Nintendo 64 Killer Instinct was horrible, there was no Clayfighter, no Metroid, no Mario 2D, no Street Fighter. When the Nintendo 64 was released it was around the same time I bought the Sega Saturn, 3DO and Playstation 1. 90% of my time playing was fighting games: Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo (3DO - best version at that time), Samurai Shodown (3DO - best version at that time), Darkstalkers 2 (Saturn - best version at that time), Marvel Super Heroes (Saturn - best version at that time), Tekken (Playstation) and Destruction Derby (Playstation - a racing game). When Street Fighter Alpha was released for Playstation 1, that game took me 4 hours a day, I started to play practically only playstation and Saturn. With Street Fighter Alpha 2 (Saturn Version), I almost abandoned the Playstation, because I only played the Saturn....On the Nintendo 64 I only played F-zero X a lot. For me, F-zero x was the best Nintendo 64 game. I would buy the Nintendo 64 just because of this game. But, I was unfair: there were 2 more games that I liked on Nintendo 64: Xtreme-G and Ogre Battle 64.
@nowthisisepic Too bad most of the good SNES games never appeared on 64: Wild Guns, Super Contra, the best 2d Fighting Games, nothing. And I don't understand how Mario Kart 64 had such a bad frame rate, much wider tracks than in Super Mario Kart (SNES), which gave a much worse feeling of speed. I kept playing the SNES. Mario Kart is one of my favorite franchises of all time...and I only got to play a new Mario Kart when it came out on Game Cube. The feel of speed in the GameCube version was great, and feel of speed and smooth frame rate is important to me in a racing game. Anyway. Everyone has their own tastes and opinions. To this day, fighting games and strategy games are the most important to me. I'm not without the best fighting games on the market. I also don't run out of strategy games. But I still don't like 3d adventure games like mario 3d, zelda, the witcher, etc... and I don't like RPG, open world games, etc. I think I'm a competitive player. I played, sponsored by Walmart in 1992 in Italy (Street Fighter) and in 1996 at World Cyber Gaming (Street Fighter, sponsored by Samsung). I like games where I play against other people. I don't like to play alone. I almost never play games when I'm alone or with no one online to play. I'm old, I don't have so much patience anymore if it's not a "competitive sport".
@GannonBanned Hopefully fingers crossed.
Now if they would just re-do the Cube version for the Switch...
That’s it… Now there’s a pretty nice library on this here NSO and I think it’s time I drop the dough.
Is this a good sign that we are getting a new F Zero? I mean, maybe it’s being used as a, “Hey remember this series? New to the series? Stay tuned!”
No idea but this is great.
@GannonBanned
No, it means I look after my games.😜
I play it regularly, like all my N64 games, all 244 of them.
My favourite console, hence why I own all Pal games released, all complete.
@TheRealMr_Carpainter f-zero is a poorly controlled Wipeout. The physics of Wave Race will always be superior.
@Freek I was just being silly, I knew what you meant.
Nice collection!
@BearsAndBattles
Settle down! I'm only yanking your chain! I think they're both great and it all comes down to personal preference.
@Jmjfrank
@TheRedComet
To clarify my position, the biggest negative against GX was some tracks were terrible. Barriers, bumps and ridiculous off-camber corners completely contravened the F-Zero ethos of sustained speed, and could easily ruin a race. Totally cheap and unnecessary additions, and no surprise such gimmicks came from Sega. There weren't many of these tracks; just enough of them to make me hate wanting to win everything on Master.
I will cite you Port Town Aero Drive where GX got everything right, and examples of Lightning, Fire Field and/or Sand Ocean courses (I can't quite remember) that got it all wrong. Barriers and other stupidity almost ruined Fast RMX too. You just don't put barriers and crap into games designed to be about holding maximum speed for as long as possible. That's why X reigns supreme. It's pure F-Zero racing, and should be remade into an "Ultimate" version, with the best tracks of GX, AX and the 16-bit games added.
PS: Most people do prefer GX, including writers at this site. It's just that this article is about X and so most comments are about it.
@Rykdrew y'know, all of that is completely valid! I'm just glad everyone has something fun to play and enjoy.
@Captain-N yeah, we dont know anything yet. But its an optimistic start!
@GannonBanned
I thought you were, haha
Thanks, took me 10+ years.
Next release BS F-Zero 2 on SNES please. That game has never officially been rereleased or ever released outside of Japan.
Thank you Nintendo, that's exactly what I was waiting for. You are always listening and know exactly what the fans want. You are always so nice to F-zero fans that I can't find any words to say thanks. Thanks, thanks, and thanks again. I will buy all your products! THANKS
I grew up with this. It's an absolute banger. One of the best games of the n64. So fast. Me and my brother unlocked every car back on the n64. Too bad it's on a service that isn't worth the money since I can emulate this on my £50 android phone and use an 8bitdo controller.
VAHOOOOOOM!!
Well, it shows that on the title screen.
And then there will be one, with Mario Golf. We haven't seen a third wave of Genesis Classics, yet. Maybe we'll see Rocket Knight Adventures.
@KramersMrMarbles you actually make a really good point when comparing Mario Kart and F Zero. Only thing I can think of is that Mario sells itself. F Zero is perhaps considered a cult classic.
Really though, the user base of Switch is so damn big, if even just like… 40% of people bought a new f zero it would still be a huge number. Like if N64 had 100,000 users and 40% bought F zero and switch had 700,000 users and 40% bought f zero, that’s more for switch because the larger user base.
I dunno I’m not a business major.
Release a new F Zero, Nintendo!
Ehhhh I don't really like F-Zero so I'm in no hurry to boot it up. Maybe mess around for 15 minutes over the weekend or something
I'm going to upgrade to the Expansion now when I'm able to. I'm planning on buying the new Final Fantasy next week followed by Kirby the following week so it will have to be put on hold for now.
Online Streamers are showing the multiplayer online: TERRIBLE QUALITY!!! Why the online quality is so poor in a paid service??? I played Pro Racer Driver 3 on the Fisrt Xbox (online with no cost), 20 years ago (2mb/s internet quality) with other 12 players and no lag. It´s not possible today with a old old OLD game!
@Degenerate_Mii I would be real happy if that would be the case.
Now port the 64-DD version, cowards 😒
After being initially cool on this, I'm now tempted, especially that MK8 DLC will be included. Even though I understand access is lost to the DLC if I cancel my subscription), it's probably worth the risk and I'd get a year out of the N64 and Sega stuff anyway.
@MegaRock FZeroGX on GameCube
@Rykdrew Most of those streamers have a bad Internet connection 🙄 The NSO games play well online for me and my friend
It's frankly not as good as I remember. The courses are pretty simplistic and boring. Even by N64 standards the game is pretty fugly. I wish everyone would just play Fast RMX instead. Beautiful modern HD graphics, 60fps and full proper lag free online.
Fantastic game. The best in the series IMO.
@Neoicelord
It’s really fiddly. Very annoying.
@vio
👍 Great game
@Broosh read through all the comments just to see if they did. I am assuming they did not. Wtf?
@chefgon That is such a nice story that you play MK64 with your old buddies
I got really excited because it’s my favorite 3D F-Zero, but once I played it, the frame rate is not even close to as smooth as the N64 original, which I played very recently, so it’s quite fresh in my head. It’s bad enough that it’s distracting. So much for my dreams of a portable F-Zero X. Here’s hoping Nintendo fixes it soon.
@nuff64 exactly, the frame rate drops quite often! Maybe it's just me but it also feels more difficult to control with the joycon stick.
@betterman Using a emulator on PC or Steam Deck must be better quality...so?
@munkeyjoe It's so weird that they still haven't ported it anywhere officially 😞
@betterman Definitely. The joy-con is very precise, but the range of motion is fairly small. I have these Joy-Con extender caps from Kontrolfreek that do a really good job of giving a "normal" level of joystick motion that may help out. I might have to do that myself because I can see myself playing a lot of this, at least if Nintendo fixes that frame rate..!
F-Zero X requires a lot of slight movements since the vehicles can throw the back out really easily. That's one of the things I love about the game. It very much feels like what a car of that type would feel like! I believe it to feel better than F-Zero GX in that regard!
Regardless, I'd recommend checking out those Joy-Con extenders if you play first person shooters or things that need a bit more precision on the go.
@nuff64 Thanks, I didn't even know those caps existed! Just ordered some.
@nessisonett Wouldn't the Pro controller work well?
I'm thinking the frmae rate dropping all the time is the real hurdle to winning in this emulation of F-zero X... I'm having fun playing it, but man those frame drops suck.
@nuff64 Yeah, I mean it's fun. I couldn't stop playing for 30 minutes, but those frame drops hurt both the playability and the sheer enjoyment that comes from seeing a locked smooth frame rate.
I hope Nintendo hires some emulation experts or something to get this fixed very quickly! F-Zero X would be so freaking incredible if it was running and looking like Star Wars Episode 1 Racer does on Switch! I'd also LOVE to see Wipeout 64 running like Episode 1 Racer!!
@dudujencarelli Would be awesome to get the 64DD stuff!
@DiggleDog It's messed up.
@Meehanuk_1987 That would be nice.
@120frames-please I agree whole-heartedly. The frame rate in this game was one of the features, and I do say features, that brought out the excitement in the game.
If Nintendo did a full on reprogramming like Star Wars Episode 1 racer, I'd be in heaven! That implies online play, and... if that means 30 players in F-Zero X, I'm playing that game for as long as online is available for it!
@betterman They've been a godsend! I didn't expect much, but I absolutely love them.
@nuff64 Yeah, well hopefully the minimum at least gets done - patching the N64 app with the next game added to the service. That patch being a restoration of the correct frame rate for F-Zero X.
@TheRealMr_Carpainter no one is riled up. Why do people always say settle down and why are you mad when there is no issue?
It sure seemed like your were riled up, what with your bashing of F-Zero!
I played this F-zero X on the N64 a lot. Captain Falcon, Zoda, Beast man, Blood Falcon, Black shadow, Super Arrow and Mrs Arrow. Amazing characters. Well done. Maybe there are more I do not remember. X cup was amazing. Haha very different from the other cups. New F-zero game I do not see it will happen soon. Maybe later.
