@Dirty0814 The concept of a request is something that I understand how to work around but I still want them to add because it would make MY life easier. Not something that I just need to learn a workaround for, I am well aware of how to use my switch and your method still requires a password and an internet connection just to see all the games I own...
@Dirty0814 So we have a difference in opinion on what we want here. I still want to be able to see all my games without going to store, entering my password and redownloading them. So if I want a game I just click the icon and redownload it.
You are saying delete everything you don't use and then if you want to remember what games you have go to the store, but that is pretty unideal. I am pretty aware of how to use all the options it's just not great to forget about games you already own because you don't go to the store all the time. A simple filter that says "installed games" would work just fine, Xbox already does this and lets you still see all your other games.
@Dirty0814 I don't see a single filter. Are you talking about the sorting? Cause I can't just show my installed games, it has all my archived ones mixed in too.
@BenAV Xbox does it that way too but at least they give you filters on your overall list and then a special section outside of that called pins. Which is more or less folders of shortcuts. I agree the 3DS is a pain.
The vita route of folders that hold games and no master list would kill functionality people use, so I see it more as an addition.
@BenAV is it really worth trying to give people a hard time about wanting to sort things logically on a computer? Show me an operating system with a flat file system.
It is to advertise all the reasons to not cancel your nso. Supposedly ps5 advertises games you don't even have on its screensaver so this is way more subtle than anything like that.
Now how about a filter for all games to let me see only the ones I have installed?
@TDRsuperstar2 If you are willing to invest in a big limited collectors package I guess I can see not wanting to double down or miss out because you already blew 60 on it. But just saying no physical no buy implied you were protesting buying the game.
I just don't like people bashing developers for not giving them what they want when the developers main concern is you being able to play the game. I mean that's the point of the game.
They don't always have full control over what the publisher does and if it works on the system it's an accomplishment without shiny objects to go along with it.
@TDRsuperstar2 Yeah but you obviously don't care about playing the game that much. You are just concerned with investing in a digital product. You wouldn't care that much if you were looking forward to it for a long time and couldn't wait to play it.
I honestly don't blame you either way just saying there are a lot of games I could give or take as well. But anyone who wants to play it should still be happy.
They should have been protected by parody laws. Like how snl doesn't have to approve every character based on a real person. What a loser to take things that far. No on can bend a spoon with their mind, it's a dumb trick so he deserves to be ridiculed for it if that's what defines him.
@tseliot cdi is also famous for its library of porn games. The 3DO had its fair share as well, probably the last 2 consoles to have official full nudity games made by companies like playboy and vivid.
Those games were a joke. All the animation looked like ms paint and there was almost no gameplay as the cdi didn't use a traditional controller. It's sad that Nintendo gave up the rights and these incompetent companies didn't capitalize on one of the best licensing deals in history. Good riddance.
On switch nes online with nes controller. It's fine in all stars but the graphics style just feels off for such a classic game. It looks like a bubbly cartoon while the original always had a slightly dark vibe with the minimalist graphics.
@BongoBongo Yeah it's great, it has a pretty steep learning curve as it's full 3D instead of fire emblem's 2D plane but you can save at anytime and retry moves and strategies.
@StuartGipp Wow, that's not just losing frame rate, that's full on chugging. I hate that feeling so much from old pc days, yeah it's unplayable I agree.
@StuartGipp So am I missing something here, I watched this video and at around 12:00 there's a decent amount of action but seems to be running around 25fps or so, which seems substandard but playable. Does it get worse in other parts? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kCEwKejc884
I reread your review and sounds like the performance might only be playable in docked mode?
Persona 5 has a great style. You could also say they are copying the art style of jet set radio future. Its just part of the culture of these games and matches up with the vibe of the first game. This game looks awesome.
Someone should make us a vertically oriented screen and pack it with vertical shooters. It would work well on a stick and really make it something unique to buy.
None of the amazing capcom beat em ups made the list and there were a lot of them. Knights of the round and captain commando were great but of course final fight 1-3 are always the classic answer to streets of rage. At least that capcom beat em up collection exists on switch.
@RustedHero I remember it being one of the first games that I played on my friends relatively good pc and then in ps1 and realized how much better 3D was on pc at the time. Ended up getting a gaming pc a few years later instead of a ps2.
One difficult game I end up rage quitting a lot. It's like 68gb on xbox, if they fit multiplayer in there too the size could have a lot to do with no physical.
Not bad, but man are there a lot of these games and I think I would have liked to see a remake of the original nfs 3 more. So much nostalgia around that game.
In this day of release date set backs why even set 2022 as a goal. No one is going to get excited now for a game like this that has absolutely nothing new to offer.
@GrailUK synthesizers are literally the backbone of most modern music. Just not sure that's a fair analogy. I agree though it limits things. I was playing watchdogs legions the other day and thinking to myself if it would have been made on sega cd they would have tried to use real footage for all the hacked cameras. And the game would take place in like one building.
It's over I spent the whole weekend grinding on watch dogs legion and it was worth it. Completely cheesed it out by grinding for tech points and building up my drone skills.
I was watching twitch streams of it last night. I think that did it for me, I'm good.
It's still a funny game to watch people play if you're a bit tipsy so give it a twitch watch. Someone was mixing rick astley, smash mouth, in da club and some country music together. I mean... It was horrific.
@JR150 well forces and generations beats the heck out of boom and spinoffs at least. Lost world was playable and a very interesting platform starring sonic but not a main line sonic game per say.
It would be nice for a sonic that was not trying so hard to have attitude. And just exist .
@JR150 that would be a great answer to super mario 3d all-stars. I would be in for sure.
I had a hard time getting into hereos when it came out due to it being the first sonic game on a non Sega console but playing it again years later on xbox it was a lot of fun. I think I was still in mourning for the Dreamcast when I saw it.
@Damo I think they made it small in scope on purpose because it'd be hard to justify it as a game and watch with a whole nes mini of games on it. It would reflect it in container only. Hopefully they get us something like that.
@GrailUK I will agree 50 for an official item like this is not too far out of the question or a ripoff. It's a fair price. I don't personally want one because it'd probably just end up in a drawer after a few uses but I still think it's cool.
I assume most of those people complaining just want a mini nes portable and are more complaining about that not existing by assuming this product was supposed to fulfill that.
@GrailUK so people are not entitled to form an opinion about a products value on its review comment section? Just telling people to go away because they think something negative is pedestrian.
@sanderev People feel compelled to buy these because they are limited and great collectors items. So while they are providing a good product people will enjoy they are also creating a large amount of cash on hand in a short amount in time.
That's called squeezing, it doesn't mean they're evil but they use stuff like this and 3D All Stars to boost cash on hand. Whenever there is a fever to buy something because you might not be able to in the future it is not completely free market taking over. Supply would scale with demand over time for a normal product.
It's 2020 and people are still making silent scope clones. This game looks derivative and all those star based challenges make it look mobile in every way.
GameMill is appropriately named because all their games are run of the mill. Also with all those licenses and butt ugly graphics they are keeping the dream of LJN alive so I commend them for that.
Xbox Series X is great so far. Really enjoying the RTX, 4K and HDR. Having gone from a vanilla Xbox One and never owning a One X the change is dramatic and well worth the price. All my Xbox One games look better than ever and some are even optimized for Series X now at no additional price. PS5 will have to wait a few years but I always get roped into buying the sony console second by exclusives.
So will their next game be some crap like, cakes on a train? It would make about as much sense as this. Anyone ever been served a milk shake on a plane?
