This actually makes sense since they don't want to keep having to make them. Printing a switch cart does not.

Every level did feel like ice, I guess i meant more from a content and graphics perspective.

This game, Auto Modellista and Robotech: Battlecry all seem to have been ushering in a new era of cell shading. They were all pretty quality, I wouldn't mind seeing a remake of Auto Modellista.

We still don't know how hard these dynamax are going to be, guessing this one isn't going to be as cut and dry as it sounds.

@BenAV me too I'm down for a great platforming system any day. I'm guessing you have already gotten into Ori? That game has some of the most hardcore platforming period.

@BenAV Yeah I don't get the reference. This game is nothing like Celeste. That was a puzzle platformer, not a roguelike.

Maybe there is a lot of platforming in the game but not sure. It sure looks like dead cells though and that game was pretty difficult so I feel pretty well prepared for it either way.

@Grumblevolcano maybe true but they can still sell ultimate editions on day 1 for 100 bucks and people buy them. That is over 6 months of gamepass in one pop.

About to get a series x so I bought a couple 12 month golds from bestbuy and did the conversion to Ultimate Game Pass. Next payment date is April 2023 and I paid 120 bucks.

@Retro_Player_77 the partnership shares some profits from game systems sold there. It in no way is a very large investment to save a company. You would need something much more dramatic and a seat in the boardroom to do that.

@Grumblevolcano why would they take away sales opportunities like people who like to own physical copies? If they are interested in stores like gamestop they know the advertising value of having physical cases on the shelf.

I mean what purpose does it serve when they already sell you a game system with a physical drive? I think we are still a generation away from all digital with no options.

@Retro_Player_77 uhh... No, that will never happen. You won't see them limiting themselves to one retailer over a freaking partnership to keep an on the ground sales force going. This is more about gamestop being a form of advertising for them than them wanting to own the store.

Halo Infinite is going to be everywhere, they get just as much advertising from Walmart and Best Buy wanting to sell the thing.

Two point is great and all it's just a lot to keep up with. Luckily you can just pause things and catch up on who needs to be doing what. I find myself pausing the action a whole lot and also having to redo the hospital layout quite often as I expand. Helps with chaos overload because the game is full of that.

As for the list I mean if you want to talk about little known titles do it but these aren't that (maybe Love).

@RustedHero when you grow up and realize people liked you better as a dumb 6 year old than a mature adult it messes with your head. These kids end up thinking the growing up process made them "worse" and end up becoming self destructive but it's somewhat understandable. They grew out of what people liked with no fault of their own and feel more in control and smart but are disliked for it.

Saying we aren't the target audience is just an excuse for a bad game.

So kids can have technically horrible games because they are directed towards them and everyone else should just ignore how awful it is?

@gcunit how exactly do you make an rc car power slide? Even just moving the back wheel as well I can't imagine it would be controllable.

@Anguspuss now that is the target audience. If it was an older person they would complain about the controls and having to rebuild everything (like me)

There will be no power sliding so it wouldn't feel much like Mario kart to me. More just a stiff racer type of feel.

This theme is much more appealing to me than bomber crew. Looks like a nice little game for those who want to invest time into learning the mechanics.

I would say that's fair. If people want to have chats about it they can use discord or a gaming site that is more self admined. Not nessecary to just have a sounding board for random hate from who knows who.

@Heavyarms55 I was actually being kinda sarcastic about the pc master race. We are past the being blown away each generation on consoles. If you compare a last gen game like Assassin's Creed 2 to Odyssey though you could see the huge difference. It takes so much effort (money)and expertise to make games look better today change does not happen over night anymore. Considering we were literally inventing how 3D could work, then perfecting it I prefer to have changes that aren't half baked at first. The 3D on playstation and Saturn while amazing at the time was horribly flawed. N64 did it with less tear but couldn't render very far ahead. There are tradeoffs to blowing the doors open into new territory every generation.

So they are going to make crazy hotels but they can't even pump out a game console that they made people prepay....

This company is a scam.

@Heavyarms55 yeah man but you are going to play next gen games. I don't care if you like the new systems but saying next gen games aren't worth it while playing them... I mean you must be able to see that is just silly.

Trash talking consoles on a site about consoles is equally as silly. You want to be part of the pc master race cool but saying consoles only play games and that's all they are good for is so 20 years ago.

Getting a series x here in a month. I love switch but I also love 4K gaming.

@Heavyarms55 people said the same thing about ps4 and it ended being a huge step in the complexity and overall structure of games. You don't have to dislike Xbox to like Switch and if you just bought a gaming pc you already invested a lot in next gen gaming. So it's contradictory to make a point that next gen isn't worth it.

@ToadBrigade If they would just make it 20 and part of a Nintendo selects it would bring enough new people in that I feel like it would keep living on for a while now and probably get levels back close to when it launched. But alas...

The park editor in the game is surprisingly robust allowing shapes to be manipulated in a ton of different ways.

I gave up on joycons a while ago for either the hori switch pad or a unified portable dock type device. I will probably never buy another set.

40 for Splatoon 2 is still too much. It seems like it's mostly an online game and at this point in its life I worry the crowd for it could drop off. Maybe that's me being paranoid but I feel like i missed the boat on that game.

@cyrus_zuo I'll just emulate it, looks like it's Dolphin compatible. This game looks really nice, the fact that you can't even buy it anymore means even if I wanted to be legit about it I couldn't so I don't feel too bad.

They must feel under-appreciated by sales figures. Something about having to announce this just screams of over compensation for having their feelings hurt.

Most companies would just make games for Japan and see if anyone wants to pick up the translation, or help them publish to NA. Not just call it out of the question.

I think the real test of this product is how easy to control and comfortably race these cars are. I can't imagine these are going to control anything like a mario kart car because you won't be able to slide at all (for obvious reasons). I have a feeling it's going to feel ultra stiff and people will have an issue making fun courses because anything with many turns will be near impossible.

Plus you need like an entire basement to setup the track. Who has that much unoccupied hardwood without removing furniture?

At least they aren't trying to get her to change her name because of that alone.
Merch of a twitch streamer is completely unnecessary so the fact that she was just using a pokeball as "her logo" just adds to the laziness factor.

EA have been crapping all over console makers for decades. Hot and cold with Sega forever even though they basically made EA sports. Nintendo got 0 love on Wii U after selling boatloads of scaled down games on Wii. I'm tired of them playing the highest bidder and telling everyone else to shove off. If you want to make a new game that's fine but changing the data files out and slapping a brand new price on it is crap.

Watch this not sell well and they pull Nintendo support for not selling enough when it was their own fault. Yet to even give us an NHL or madden or anything UFC so even this is just chunk change thrown at us from their leftover ps3 builds.

Not sure why he retired, he is only 30 and still yet to drop any song that blows people away or becomes classic. I guess he just wanted the money, not huge hits people would remember him by.

I just always saw him as a big nerd who liked to talk about being positive and could rap super fast but he was way better on other people's tracks than his own.

@BadlyDrawnDedede it is definitely one of those games people go and say it's not hard, then someone tries and thinks that person is a total jerk.

The boss fights especially are more about learning what to do more than the actual execution being intricate. When the first game came out I rage quit it but picked it up again after a few months and realized I wasn't being a wimp for going slow, you literally had to go slow.

Still have the psp games. It doesn't surprise me some people think the controls suck. The fact is you have no air control and it tries to be an elitist platformer like that. It's more a measure of making you do your jumps perfectly more than bad controls. You just have to take your time and get used to it and you see what they were going for.

I'm sure they are fine here as well but I'll just stick to my psp copies.

@Hellguy GI Joe doesn't have any reviews on metacritic yet. I'll wait but seriously they messed up a zombieland game and cartoon network battle crashers and almost all their stuff is licensed. It is very similar to how ljn used to roll.

As a general rule I refuse to buy any gamemill game. They are the new ljn.

Legacy Editions should be a free or $5 dlc for the base game. They could easily just come out with one, called Fifa Legacy, and just update it. Shameful they are allowed to get away with crap like this. it's not like the Switch is a dead system.

After reading all the comments I think some of you just have a really big crush on these models. of course they look hot in the clothes, it's their job. But I see nothing sexual about this line at all. Outside of maybe wearing the mario plumber overalls with nothing else (someone's thing)

Looks like celeste controls with some castlevania style fighting. I mean, it could be really good with the platforming and fighting put together but what a generic style and character. Could they try to fit in anymore?
