The fact that Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit allows you to design your own real-life tracks means that the creative freedom available is already through the roof, but some are now taking that to wonderful extremes.

3D printer manufacturer, BCN3D, has decided to take things into its own hands and create a surprisingly accurate version of Rainbow Road. As you'll see in the video above, the design is a recreation of Mario Kart's most famous track as it was seen in Super Mario Kart on the SNES.

Two engineers and ten employees helped to create and put together the 4,000 piece track, which apparently ended up being five metres long in total. It's pretty cool seeing Mario whizz around Rainbow Road in real life, right?
