Blockbuster in the 90s were pressing mega drive carts with roms because they realized buying the games in retail form made no sense anymore.

It still doesn't and it killed gaming in redbox when their copies all just got stollen.

@SNESuperior You are more likely to have issues with the hardware reading it than the disc just going bad.

None of us would expect any of this for free if it wasn't for the Virtual Console not existing. They should have just kept it and provided select free VC games while your sub is active.

I don't see how it could have been profitable at all to not port their emulators to switch and make that part of the store.

Don't tell me all these Nicalis issues are why we haven't gotten The Legend of Bum-Bo on the switch.

This game was ok, I was excited for a Kirby's Adventure tribute but it was not that well polished and some of the level design was meh.

@BabyYoda71 Not always true. When I go on COD WW2 now and look for a game, I can't find anything. The game outside of single player is dead.

This game however is far from that, just saying if a game has no one playing it (for real) it can be dead.

I think the logistics on the controllers after SNES are getting into the expensive range to reproduce. I would guess they didn't want to charge 150 for an N64 mini with 1 controller and 40 bucks for a second one.

@nhSnork I was around back then, played a fair amount of gameboy at friends houses. It didn't feel as high tech as a smartphone, and honestly by the time it was popular (and had gotten over the early game growing pains) SNES was around and a lot of people didn't want 8 bit games.

I look at some games I passed up because I was "tired of 2d games" but I was a kid who wanted the latest technology and graphics. Not a lot has changed there for a good majority of gamers.

The cart designs remind me of vacuum cleaner attachments as well.

I still love my Wii U, it saved me a lot of money on first party switch games I already had and it still is fun for some NES remix, though the 3DS one is just as good.

You don't make a full release number upgrade unless the experience is notably different for the user. I don't understand why Nintendo tease us so much and don't add features to a 4 year old interface at this point.

At the gas stations in my city (not in Nevada but in the US) there is a little casino in a lot of them. You can play to earn "store credit" and you always see weirdos in the back casino room that smells like old socks and cigars. No one thinks it's suitable for kids to hang out in there.

@cdmac He killed countless people. Now if you want to bicker over numbers idk where to meet you in the middle. I think he is easily accountable for well over a million deaths due to forced starvation, enslavement and moving people to areas that are uninhabitable because he didn't like them.

He wasn't even a communist, he followed more of the ideals of a fascist or a dictator figure. He did not represent his people in a way that made them equals. He tore them apart.
