I can understand why they paid 3000, it must be great to own a game which literally no one else has. This looks fun but back in the day this type of game didn't really appeal to me. Also I wonder if it would have had a pal release.

Oh yay pay full price for a game where I can't access 18 features.

I haven't bought a WiiU yet. Looking at this game... I think I may wait a bit longer. I am definitely pining for those distant times when you could buy a game and content wasn't locked behind a pay wall. I guess I'm just old fashioned.

It's the only Mario Kart to feature the Death Stare so, obviously, it's the best.

mk64 has a better animation if you come 4th so it's better overall.

I liked taking my 4 characters from the GBC onto the n64, via transfer pak, and improving their stats. The cross over was really fun and seeing their 3d models on a big screen was great.

I'm trying to remember if there's someone who often comments about 3rd party game sales. Something about fans not buying 3rd party. Or buying the wrong type of 3rd party. Or something. Can't quite remember who it is...

I don't own a Wii U. Will this make me purchase one? No. If Zelda was a definite I would think about it. The other factor is that in shops there is so little space dedicated to Wii U compared to rows upon rows for the other two. The other systems appear to be a better, more thriving choice.

I remember being really disappointed with this game. It's one of the few n64 games I traded in. Even an over abundance of cute couldn't hide how dull this game was.

I really enjoyed Hunters in single player. Maybe, since I'm not very good at games, it lasted longer for me than most but surely it took even competent gamers a long time to get the full ending. It never even crossed my mind that it was cobbled together. I had one game local play and never logged online with it. So for me, it was single player pretty much all the way.

The important thing is the game is getting made. For me it is irrelevant how it gets funded. I think this is a huge coup for Sony. I suspect there will be many, like me, who will be seriously considering investing in a Ps4 (albeit in a few year's time when it get released.) Sadly, there has been nothing this e3 which has made me want to buy a Wii U

Any game which features "Lucky Loungewear" is alright in my book.

Ohhh very excited by this announcement. I was hoping for something from e3 which would genuinely interest me and other than Just Dance (obviously) this is it. The rest of the show may as well be cancelled! I may have to invest in a current generation console before too long.

Now if only my 3ds had more stability and could run it.

My 3ds is so stable now that it is thinking about becoming a psychologist.

I agree that overall the game is not too hard but it does have some immensely frustrating sections.

Are the Rareware coins still in? Finishing DK arcade twice was so hard (and having to go through the animation of Donkey Kong pulling that lever in order to start your next attempt was infuriating!)

A final boss who turns invisible? I spent the best part of a day trying to figure out when to punch his shadow. I have never been so angry with a computer game and so close to giving up.

Having said all that the rest of it was fun. Taking it a section at a time seemed to help reduce the backtracking but it was still far from streamlined.

Overall, 7 is fair.

It does indeed paint a pretty depressing picture. And then I realize this is the first nintendo console I've not owned in 3 generations (I don't have any current gen). Whilst the price is attractive, I have played lots of U games and none at the moment are irresistible. Also I much prefer physical games to the download stuff for 2ds. I dislike going into GAME and seeing those download cards. I think they are a very poor way to fill a couple of shelves.

Just glancing through the comments, it seems to me that some people are claiming more games will make use of this feature when the big N work out what to do with the figures. That sentiment reminds me of a certain tablet style gamepad...

Only 136 years? That does not sound like a sufficiently long ban. It should be at least double that length. Or triple.

9 left. I hope they don't end with OoT. I think its been a fair list not too many good ones left. I'd have Mario Tennis, Jet Force, Oot, Tooie, Dk64 (despite the final battle) Ridge Racer 64 and Yoshi's Story. Actually, of the games I own, that's it. Even some of those are scraping the barrel a bit. If only if were the Nintendo 62.

A great game. Over hyped at the time of release? The amazing visuals came at a price as there were frame rate stutters. Despite that, there is a lot of fun to be had. I used to like GameRoom's review of it especially the comments from the fans!

This is one game I've always been tempted to pick up but then I remember the reviews of the time and steer clear. I'm looking at a Youtube letsplay now and yeah, I think I'm right to save my money. It isn't the sort of thing which appeals to me. Reminds me a bit of Winback.

I thought the children did pretty well. They got that it was for gaming. I agree with them when they ask why would modern children want one? Technology has moved on, Nintendo recognize it and that's why they aren't made any more.

So pleased to see that children are still reading. I don't have a problem with them using consoles and games (my children love their ds') but sharing a book together is, in my experience, much more special and fun than cooperating on a computer game together.

Can't wait for this game to be released so that these interminable weekly updates can cease. Still, the game looks nice.

Yes I love Mario Kart. Yes it is a great offer. No I'm not going to buy. At the end of the day it comes down to money and I don't have the disposable income to spend £200 on a games system. No next gen for me yet.

Swings and roundabouts. Tapered off with children being born. But is now starting to come back. Playing Plants vs Zombies with my daughter (9 years old) is cool. No substitute for playing real board games or imaginative games but, at times, is a nice alternative.

I might get this, I would like portable chess, it would round off my ds downloads nicely. Correspondence chess is fine by me. After all, there are plenty of free internet chess rooms for my real time chess needs.

People who spend that amount of time improving something deserve recognition. Respect to the team. As for "fixing" it I'm not sure it was broken but, like anything it could have been improved.

Right, better fire up Mario Kart and 007 then.

Get an RTS running on the gamepad. Multiplayer against another player on the tv. Star Wars licence. Online against friends (or co-op). Winner.

Or do the same with Doom.
