Opening the map was quite laggy when I tried the demo in the Switch 2 Experience event, so it's sad that this is still the case now... I doubt they'll improve it anymore.
I bought Pokemon Violet a week before Switch 2 was released, played on my old Switch then moved to my Switch 2, and the performance is like night and day.
I’m loving the game. It totally is worth it on Switch 2 for those who didnt buy it!
@Coalescence I think there’s a lot of better games in this genre so I get you! 🙈 I feel it’s one of the most overhyped games, but I’m happy for the devs and the fans!
Everyone seems to love the trailer, but the lack of gameplay makes it a very bad trailer for anyone who hasn’t seen earlier footage of the game like me 🥲
Why can’t they release just one of those games earlier? I haven’t touched my switch in 3 months and now suddenly I have 3-4 games I want to buy in October/November 😂
I played ~100 hours of Pokemon Shield. It's my second most-played game on the Switch.
That being said, I still think it's a bad game. It's addictive for sure, but it's way too easy, and I hate Dynamax battles, and multiplayer aspects of the game.
I recently discovered Ni No Kuni on Switch, which is close enough in genre to Pokemon and it's much much better.

Re: Switch 2 Black Friday Deals Are A Bit 'Meh', But Here Are The Best We've Seen
I think the best UK deal isn't listed in the article: https://www.very.co.uk/nintendo-switch-2-switch-2-mario-kart-world-donkey-kong-bananza/1601110405.prd 439.99 for Switch 2 + Mario Kart + Donkey Kong 💥

Re: Donkey Kong Bananza Direct Revealed For Wednesday, 18th June 2025
In 2022:
June 22, 2022: There was a Nintendo Direct for Xenoblade Chronicles 3
June 28, 2022: There was a Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase
So historically, a game-specific Direct didn't mean there was no other Direct in the same month or shortly after!

Re: Round Up: The Previews Are In For The Legend Of Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom
The only thing I’m worried about is that given the more advanced gameplay mechanics and object spawning, we might see the frame rate drop
Has any (p)reviews mentioned anything about it?
