As part of yesterday's Xbox Tokyo Games Show event, Netmarble shared another look at Bloomwalker, its upcoming crafting adventure. Aside from announcing that the game will launch on Switch 1 & 2, the studio also revealed that the title is officially part of the Ni no Kuni universe.
It has been a little while since we got a first peek at Bloomwalker, but it looks like it'll be right at home on Nintendo consoles. It's got all manner of cosiness that we love to see on the system, as you travel across a pollution-ravaged land with your moving house (yes really) and adorable nature spirit pals, and there's more than enough crafting that we can imagine portability will be a welcome addition.

We don't have a release window at the moment, and details of how, exactly, the game will fit into the wider Ni no Kuni mythos remains to be seen, but the new trailer is giving us all kinds of warm fuzzies, nonetheless.
Here's a rundown of the game's key features and a handful of screenshots:
Your Journey Companion: A Moving House
Move your house from sanctuary to sanctuary, stopping at resource-rich anchorages to explore the surrounding lands. As your journey takes you deeper into the world, your house grows alongside you and changes in appearance as it gains new functionality. It becomes a loyal companion, helping you cleanse pollution and overcome the challenges along the way.
Beyond the Door, Your Own Pocket Dimension to Build and Tend
Your house's door leads to a special pocket dimension. Build structures, arrange facilities, and decorate it to your heart's content. Here, familiars and higgledies eat, sleep, and work, gradually expanding your pocket dimension into a bustling home filled with life.
Friends to Grow Close to: Familiars and Higgledies
Talk and connect with your artisan friends, familiars, each with stories of their own. As friendships deepen, you'll gain access to new formulas, facilities, and new crafting paths. As the world is restored, you'll be joined by more and more higgledies. Treat your higgledies like beloved pets and provide them with food and shelter, and they might repay you with vitality and resources.
Crafting, Made Together
In this world, crafting isn't something you do alone. As your friendship grows with familiars, they'll unlock new formulas and facilities that can be used to process materials higgledies gather and deliver into finished goods. The fruits of your labor then become tools for restoring villages and housing or creating precious gifts, which in turn, bring you closer to your friends.
This will be Netmarble's second foray into the world of Ni no Kuni after it developed Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds for mobile back in 2022. Let's just hope that this one doesn't feature any crypto and blockchain nonsense, eh?
