I stopped playing New Horizons after 50 hours. The game seemed boring to me, it was completely lacking depth and soon became repetitive.
I've never played other AC games, but this felt like an overpriced mobile game to me. I don't get the hype.

@StephenYap3 @Kirby_Girl Just my opinion, but I found Kirby's Adventure more difficult than later games. It's not very difficult but some bosses can definitely kill you if you are not careful.

Still more difficult than e.g. BOTW where you are literally invincible with endless healing items, yet most people don't complain about zelda's difficulty.

Would be interested if they stop making the games so extremely easy. I loved the NES game though

I think a more realistic expectation could be the rumored exclusive Resident Evil game

33€ for the Doom Collection looks like a great deal, given that it includes the first 4 doom games.

I would prefer if they added the DS games to this collection. I think it should work if they just remove the touch screen inputs, they weren't that important anyways.

Tales of Arise looks great. I wonder if a Switch port is realistic?

@SwitchVogel Are Level-5 really halting western releases? They made that claim almost a year ago, and yet we got Ni No Kuni II today. Maybe they were not that serious about it after all.

I don't see them charging extra money for the service, even if they add new consoles.
Seriously, NSO will always be lacking, due to the simple fact that too many key developers like SquareEnix and Konami don't support it, which is understandable as they want to sell their remasters of old games.

I don't think we will get GB Zelda, because they still want to sell the Links Awakening Remake.

How is the difficulty in this game? Is it any challenging?

This is long overdue. I expected game boy games already last september.

I just noticed that most video game composers were heavily influenced by Progressive Rock.

It's nice that this underrated genre finally gets the love it deserved, at least in the form of video game soundtracks.

Pat Metheny, Bach, and early(!) prog-rock Genesis - those are excellent inspirations.

No wonder she is such a great composer.

I love majoras mask, but I think it has one of the weaker Zelda soundtracks. The Termina Field music is just a copy of the original Zelda theme and seems inappropiate given the alien setting. Also, the music of most remaining regions are just slight variants of the same track.

Looks great, but I honestly think that the scenes they've shown would be even more impressive if it had actual 3D gameplay.

Switch has a hard time getting 3rd-party exclusives. That's unfortunate given that there aren't many 1st-party-exclusives either.

This game is actually available for free on iOS / Android. I wonder if they added much new content to the switch version to justify the 17,99 price tag.

That being said, it's a lot of fun and I recommend everyone giving it a try!

3D platformers don't get enough love these days, so I'm thrilled that this is happening!

I still don't understand how battles work. Are they turn based? Or can I directly control the Pokemon like in an Action-RPG?

I would LOVE this to happen, but it seems unrealistic at this point.
Switch Sports would only ruin the sales of games like Mario Golf and Mario&Sonic at the Olympic Games.

This is not surprising given that Intelligent Systems already worked on Metroid 1 and Super Metroid.

I guess Mario Bros. contained in Super Mario Bros 3 and Super Mario Advance would also count.

BOTW was so ridiculously easy that it's no surprise that players invent these crazy challenges to make the game somewhat difficult.

If you can play EVERY Steam game on this device, then it actually could be serious competition for the Switch ( and even the Xbox!).

However, I wonder how many older games actually work with this controller? I don't think that games designed for mouse-keyboard controls will work well with this.

So does this play literally EVERY game on steam?
If yes, then this could be serious competition for the Switch, given that the steam library is way larger than the switch one (it spans games since the 90s). I just wonder how many future releases will run on this console.

@starman_jr Zelda II is one of my favorite Zelda games and I don't understand how it gets so much hate for its difficulty although From Software games are trending.

In a lot of ways Zelda II feels like the first Souls game to me.

@starman_jr Also came here to mention Castlevania 64. I almost wish this game would get some kind of remake or sequel.

I also love Goemon but I didn't know that it is considered a bad game. Compared to the sequel it is a bit short and easy, but for what it is it's really well done. I almost feel like this game was the first 3D Zelda.

@Yosher I think they are holding back on Game Boy games because they want people to buy the Links Awakening Remake instead of playing the original.

Creating 3D level designs is a much more complex and laborious task than designing flat 2D worlds. So yes, I think that 2D games should be cheaper than 3D games.

Is the switch version actually good now? The reception at launch wasn't exactly great.

What has happened with Camelot? The original Mario Golf/Tennis games were soooo good!

I hope they also redesign the boring fetch quests.

I consider Famitsu scores pretty much meaningless. This is actually the magazine that gave Demons Souls 29/40.
