I stopped playing New Horizons after 50 hours. The game seemed boring to me, it was completely lacking depth and soon became repetitive.
I've never played other AC games, but this felt like an overpriced mobile game to me. I don't get the hype.
@StephenYap3 @Kirby_Girl Just my opinion, but I found Kirby's Adventure more difficult than later games. It's not very difficult but some bosses can definitely kill you if you are not careful.
Still more difficult than e.g. BOTW where you are literally invincible with endless healing items, yet most people don't complain about zelda's difficulty.
I would prefer if they added the DS games to this collection. I think it should work if they just remove the touch screen inputs, they weren't that important anyways.
@SwitchVogel Are Level-5 really halting western releases? They made that claim almost a year ago, and yet we got Ni No Kuni II today. Maybe they were not that serious about it after all.
I don't see them charging extra money for the service, even if they add new consoles. Seriously, NSO will always be lacking, due to the simple fact that too many key developers like SquareEnix and Konami don't support it, which is understandable as they want to sell their remasters of old games.
I love majoras mask, but I think it has one of the weaker Zelda soundtracks. The Termina Field music is just a copy of the original Zelda theme and seems inappropiate given the alien setting. Also, the music of most remaining regions are just slight variants of the same track.
This game is actually available for free on iOS / Android. I wonder if they added much new content to the switch version to justify the 17,99 price tag.
That being said, it's a lot of fun and I recommend everyone giving it a try!
I would LOVE this to happen, but it seems unrealistic at this point. Switch Sports would only ruin the sales of games like Mario Golf and Mario&Sonic at the Olympic Games.
If you can play EVERY Steam game on this device, then it actually could be serious competition for the Switch ( and even the Xbox!).
However, I wonder how many older games actually work with this controller? I don't think that games designed for mouse-keyboard controls will work well with this.
So does this play literally EVERY game on steam? If yes, then this could be serious competition for the Switch, given that the steam library is way larger than the switch one (it spans games since the 90s). I just wonder how many future releases will run on this console.
@starman_jr Zelda II is one of my favorite Zelda games and I don't understand how it gets so much hate for its difficulty although From Software games are trending.
In a lot of ways Zelda II feels like the first Souls game to me.
@starman_jr Also came here to mention Castlevania 64. I almost wish this game would get some kind of remake or sequel.
I also love Goemon but I didn't know that it is considered a bad game. Compared to the sequel it is a bit short and easy, but for what it is it's really well done. I almost feel like this game was the first 3D Zelda.
Creating 3D level designs is a much more complex and laborious task than designing flat 2D worlds. So yes, I think that 2D games should be cheaper than 3D games.

Re: A New Kirby Game Just Leaked On Nintendo Japan's Website
Would be interested if they stop making the games so extremely easy. I loved the NES game though
Re: Nintendo Direct To Air Tomorrow, 23rd September
I think a more realistic expectation could be the rumored exclusive Resident Evil game
Re: Nintendo Direct To Air Tomorrow, 23rd September
My wishlist:
Tales of Arise
Re: Nintendo 'Blockbuster' Sale Discounts Hundreds Of Switch Games (Europe)
33€ for the Doom Collection looks like a great deal, given that it includes the first 4 doom games.

Re: Review: Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom - A Sublime Port Of An Awesome Adventure
@XenoShaun Ok, that doesn't sound THAT bad. I guess there is still some chance that Yokai Watch will find another publisher?
Re: Japanese Charts: WarioWare: Get It Together! Misses Out On A Debut Number One
Tales of Arise looks great. I wonder if a Switch port is realistic?

Re: Out Now: Metal Slug 1st & 2nd Mission Get A Handy eShop Double Pack
it seems a bit expensive for what looks like a gbc game
Re: Video: Nintendo Drops A New Metroid Dread Commercial
I don't recommend watching this commercial. I did and regret it. It has boss spoilers.
Re: Build Your Own Village In Staxel, The Latest Farming Sim Headed To Switch
it reminds me a little bit of minecraft
Re: Round Up: The WarioWare: Get It Together! Reviews Are In
I expected better reviews, metacritic score is only 76. But the demo is a lot of fun.
Re: Review: WarioWare: Get It Together! - More Magnificent Microgame Mayhem
Great to hear, but Metacritic looks rather mixed at this point
Re: Talking Point: Just How 'Finished' Is Your Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Save File?
Still didn't fight ganon. I don't want to beat him before i finish all shrines, but I'm beginning to feel that I should give up this resolution...
Re: Random: Check Out These Mock-Ups Of Game Boy For Nintendo Switch Online
I don't think we will get GB Zelda, because they still want to sell the Links Awakening Remake.
Re: Rumour: Nintendo Will Expand Its Switch Online Service With Game Boy And Game Boy Color Titles
Other retro platforms?
My guess: Game&Watch or cdi-Zeldas
Re: Review: Sonic Colors Ultimate - The Best 3D Sonic Game Gets A Respectable Remaster
How is the difficulty in this game? Is it any challenging?
Re: Rumour: Nintendo Will Expand Its Switch Online Service With Game Boy And Game Boy Color Titles
This is long overdue. I expected game boy games already last september.
Re: Quick Beats: Mega Man Composer Manami Matsumae On Ocarinas And Bohemian Rhapsody
I just noticed that most video game composers were heavily influenced by Progressive Rock.
It's nice that this underrated genre finally gets the love it deserved, at least in the form of video game soundtracks.
Re: Quick Beats: Mega Man Composer Manami Matsumae On Ocarinas And Bohemian Rhapsody
Pat Metheny, Bach, and early(!) prog-rock Genesis - those are excellent inspirations.
No wonder she is such a great composer.
Re: Soapbox: Music Just Don't Come Spookier And Sadder Than Zelda: Majora's Mask
I love majoras mask, but I think it has one of the weaker Zelda soundtracks. The Termina Field music is just a copy of the original Zelda theme and seems inappropiate given the alien setting. Also, the music of most remaining regions are just slight variants of the same track.
Re: Fantastic Metroid Dread Trailer Shows Off Frantic Gameplay And A New-Look Kraid
Looks great, but I honestly think that the scenes they've shown would be even more impressive if it had actual 3D gameplay.
Re: Bravely Default II Is No Longer A Nintendo Switch Exclusive
Switch has a hard time getting 3rd-party exclusives. That's unfortunate given that there aren't many 1st-party-exclusives either.
Re: Old-School Dungeon-Crawler RPG Moonshades Launches On Switch Tomorrow

Re: Hubworld, A 'Direct' Showcase Focusing On 3D Platformers, Airs This Weekend
3D platformers don't get enough love these days, so I'm thrilled that this is happening!
Re: Feature: Mega Man, Shovel Knight, And Save Me Mr Tako Composers On Getting 'That' Retro Sound
Interesting to see how many chiptune composers were influenced by Bach's piano music. I didn't expect that.
Re: The Quake Remaster Is Out Now On Nintendo Switch
Expansions, Mods and Gyro? That sounds almost too good to be true!
Now please give us mods for Skyrim and I will be happy, Bethesda!
Re: New Pokémon Legends: Arceus Footage Introduces The Hisui Region
I still don't understand how battles work. Are they turn based? Or can I directly control the Pokemon like in an Action-RPG?
Re: Soapbox: A Strange Desire For Switch Sports And A Return To Wii's Wuhu Island
I would LOVE this to happen, but it seems unrealistic at this point.
Switch Sports would only ruin the sales of games like Mario Golf and Mario&Sonic at the Olympic Games.
Re: Nintendo Leak Reveals Scrapped Wii Games, Including A Metroid Title From Intelligent Systems
This is not surprising given that Intelligent Systems already worked on Metroid 1 and Super Metroid.
Re: Games Within Games - The Best Video Games In Other Video Games
I guess Mario Bros. contained in Super Mario Bros 3 and Super Mario Advance would also count.
Re: Random: Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Player Beats Game Without Stepping In The Same Spot Twice
BOTW was so ridiculously easy that it's no surprise that players invent these crazy challenges to make the game somewhat difficult.
Re: Gabe Newell: Pricing Valve's Switch-Like Steam Deck Was "Painful"

Re: Poll: So, Will You Be Getting A Switch OLED Or Valve Steam Deck?

If yes, then this could be serious competition for the Switch, given that the steam library is way larger than the switch one (it spans games since the 90s). I just wonder how many future releases will run on this console.
Re: Gallery: Having A Nosy Around Minecraft's New World Generation
@anoyonmus I thought the marketplace sells mods for bedrock.
Re: Gallery: Having A Nosy Around Minecraft's New World Generation
Looks very exciting!
A bit off topic, but does the switch version have good mods that make the game more challenging?
Re: Review: The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD - A Remaster That Truly Soars
Great to hear that the motion controls work well! I hope that we will soon get more switch games with motion control combat!

I would love a new Mario & Donkey Kong game
Re: Nintendo Plugs Its NSO Zelda Games Ahead Of Skyward Sword HD's Release
@Yosher I think they are holding back on Game Boy games because they want people to buy the Links Awakening Remake instead of playing the original.

Re: Crysis Remastered Is Getting A Physical Version On Switch
Is the switch version actually good now? The reception at launch wasn't exactly great.
Re: Round Up: The Mario Golf: Super Rush Reviews Are In
What has happened with Camelot? The original Mario Golf/Tennis games were soooo good!
Re: Zelda: Skyward Sword HD Will Have "Various Quality-Of-Life Enhancements", Nintendo Says
I hope they also redesign the boring fetch quests.
Re: The First Review For Mario Golf: Super Rush Is Now In
I consider Famitsu scores pretty much meaningless. This is actually the magazine that gave Demons Souls 29/40.
Re: 'Castlevania Advance Collection' Possibly Revealed By Rating In Australia
Great games, but I think they should also add the DS games or Symphony of the Night
