Re: Talking Point: The Watch_Dogs Wii U Delay Demonstrates That Major Third-Parties Are Walking Away

banacheck

Nintendo made the right noises about third-party support — here was a powerful system with backing from major players like EA, Activision and Ubisoft, we were told, and the innovative new controller would encourage unique, multi-screen experiences.

Nintendo are genius thay are the only company that can flat out lie to it's user-base, "Nintendo Wii U is 19X more powerful than the PS3"

@Diddy_kong
What your saying is totally true, most of what's going on now is down to Nintendo. That left the WiiU to rot for a fair few months, I can understand them delaying there games. But what about VC a few ports whatever, I'm just not seeing the effort on Nintendo's part. It's all good and well saying thay are going to focus on the Gamepad etc bit when? Nintendo really needs to start showing an effort and just not relaying on the 3DS and there attitude towards 3rd will come back too bit them on the butt.

@quaxonH

The Gamepad is not the main controller otherwise every game would use it, it's says a lot when nintendo themselves don't even use it in there own first party game.

Are you serious? Please, open your eyes past the hatred for this company

So if someone doesn't agree the Gamepad Is the second coming or something, you must hate Nintendo? Are you people for real.

@JaxonH
A tablet stuck to a console is a gimmick aka Gamepad, read the first part of the article thats what it was designed for. There is only a handful of games that use the gamepad, and most of the ideas the games use using the gamepad came from the people who made them mostly 3rd party. If Nintendo did have any solid ideas for the gamepad we wouldn't be here today.

After reading that Nintendo are creating gimmicks for the sake of it, even tho it adds nothing at all apart from playing without the need of a TV. Isn't that why people buy handhelds, being portable without needing a TV. Some of us own our own TV's or does Nintendo not get that, and not only that people buy consoles to play there games on TV. Nintendo lost it.

Re: Guest Blog: Shut up! Nothing is Wrong With The Nintendo Wii U!

Yes I completely agree with this article, wait a minute. hasn't this guy just made an "indie" game on the Wii U, so it's safe to say he could gain a lot more with Nintendo going indie. This reminds me of that other indie guy who would slay Nintendo off, than over night Nintendo was the best thing since slice bread all because his game was coming out on a Nintendo system. Just ask the public why thay are not buying a Wii U, at least thay don't have an incentive to say nice this.

I'm looking forwards to X because I love RPG'S it's ashame the Wii U has hardly any, Donkey Kong I'm looking forwards to too love the DK games. Bayonetta 2 I'm looking forwards to, I already have Watchdogs pre-ordered for the PS4 with infamous & Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes.

Re: Mario And Zelda On Mobile Could Bring New Players To Nintendo Consoles, Suggest Industry Analysts

I don't see why putting Nintendo games on smartphone's would generate interest in it's hardware, by putting Mario & CO on tablets & smartphone's would kill off there hardware. You really think people that play on smartphone's now & again that don't buy console's anyway, would really go out and buy a Nintendo console after playing Mario, you must be out of your minds.

Re: Iwata Accepts Responsibility For Poor Financial Results, Ignores Calls To Resign

@Nintenjoe64

Based off the games I've got and have downloaded I know for a fact it's faster than any console I've played on to date and that includes the Wii U as I have a Wii U. I was able to download resogun and within 2 mins I was playing it as it was still downloading, but at the moment not all the games out have had there files sorted to be able to do that. But all the newest games like Driveclub, watch dogs etc will be doing that.also you don't need to wait for a game to instal before you can start playing it, you start playing it after a 1 min or 2.

@Nintenjoe64

People were believing promises like 'no load times again ever'

I get the feeling you haven't got a clue what they meant by that and it's not what you think, thay where talking about in-game loading times. Take AC3 as an example, it was a open world game until you stepped onto the ship and than it would start loading. Or Skyrim as you went from city to city it would have loading times in-game, getting rid of them loading times is not make believe.

Re: 3DS Region-Free Hack is Hacked by Hackers

Good article it's quite funny when you think about it, another funny article was that make your XboxOne backwards capability which would brick the console. Funny in a sense you wouldn't believe anyone would believe it, but the problem was some people did.

Re: Former Sony Developer Feels The Wii U "Won't See Another Christmas"

I think retail and the market will push Nintendo in a direction whether they like it or not. They MUST be in danger of losing shelf space at this point.

I 100% agree we are already seeing the Wii U losing shelf space, hell in most shops thay don't even stock it let alone it's games. Early 2014 the Wii U has DK apart from that what else does it have until spring? nothing its totally dead .i think people thinking the Wii U well sell like mad in 2014 just because of Smash Bros & co are in for a rude awakening, people want consoles that are supported with both 1st & 3rd parties in this day an age especially for £249.
