I don't understand this statement, as manufacturers don't pay the prices we do, the price of the console would hardly be pushed up unless thay choose too.

This is where Nintendo fanboys show there true colours, but what would thay know? i could actually post quite a good few Youtube video's of Sony talking respectful of Nintendo, but i'm not going to boost the egoistic fanboy.

I am, thats why all my downloads are made on the PSN.

Nintendo doesn't want a network like Sony's, thay want to be able to rip-off customers by making you buy the downloads on the Wii U, 3DS twice.

I can see Bayonetta2 flopping especially after W101 which was suited towards the Wii U, i think PG needs to do what thay want.

When i'm playing excellent games early 2014, and waiting for new releases, i will not need to look towards to Wii U untill spring 2014 because after Xmas nothing is releasing that i know of which is a great line up in its self Reg.

To most normal people old Reggie haven't even taken there own advice, else the Wii U would never of launched the way it did. And snice launch the Wii U has been Meh, and thats just comparing it to the PS3 never mind the PS4. And hasn't there always been a Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong? we do need more innovation, but the trouble is when that does happen The Wonderful 101 it bombs, so Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kony is all the innovation you get. I don't mind because i'll will play a lot of other excellent games too, as well as certain Wii U games.

I think Nintendo have got it bang on with the 2Ds, right before Xmas at a cheaper price point hardly sacrificing anything, as a whole its a good time to be a gamer no matter what systems you own.

What people don't realize Sony has partners which thay invest with,these partners also invest money meaning all the cost doesn't come from Sony alone. thay also do more apart from hardware, movies, music, mobiles, laptops all sorts. And people really think Nintendo is worth more than Sony, thats laughable in its self. I don't think Sony is going anywhere anytime soon, and i also think consoles are not going anywhere, theres just to much money to be made for that.

Yes i'm sorry your right, people being upset with the price drop is a natural response. But as its coming towards Xmas this is the best time to do it, and thankfully Nintendo is keeping there software prices down instead of it going up like EA for example.

Bayonetta wasn't exactly an excellent port it even got down graded on the reviews, but PG games don't sell amazingly well anyway, but that doesn't mean every PG game will bomb on the PS3, and there is plenty of PG games on the PS3 that haven't bomb, your just presuming it would because of one poor port Bayonetta.

How does anyone apart from Sony know how much dedicated RAM is for games & OS as Sony not said anything yet. So i wouldn't say there is 5GB for games because no one knows yet, unless you believe rumours which say there is 6GB for games. Also the PS4 has been modified to use GDDR5 for system as well, because GDDR5 & DDR3 are two totally different types of RAM, hence the "G".

You arn't going to be seeing much in the way of advanced AI. AI just isn't advancing in games because people don't care for it. Physics maybe but a lot of those advances are in faster algorithms rather than more processing(see the hair/cloth simulator).

I actually disagree with that Watch Dogs developers has already go in depth about the advanced AI in the next gen versions of Watch Dogs. Also Thief developers have talked about there advanced AI, everything getting upped this gen otherwise there would be not point in next gen hardware, it would be totally pointless.

No one can factor video games towards violent only, when there is meny other factors to considers like domestic absuse. I also don't believe domestic absuse means you'll turn out violent, you could go one way or the other. I think its life that'll mold that person, and what happens in it otherwise you can start blaming TV, films too.

people buy Nintendo consoles to play Nintendo games. Simple as that. I don't think it will really matter all that much.

This is why it's not really going to make a difference, & Nintendo always catches-up anyway.

I think thay've done an excellent job with this game, the PS3 version i've not come across a single bug, i had this on pre order thats why i got it on the PS3.

whats the Wii U install base? the PS3 is around 77 million but as i said, but depending what game it is PG games don't sale extremely well anyway, which doesn't help the game also. Bayonetta sold around 1.08m on the PS3, which this game should easily topple over the life span of the Wii U.

The likely hood of someone buying your game if there are 77 million users over the Wii U's 7 million which i don't think is that many uses. Is higher than the Wii U? thats why i used the word likely, as there is no guarantee it would but there is a higher chance no?

I don't think consoles are being left behind otherwise Sony & Microsoft would be where Nintendo is now, Nintendo is only just catching up with HD, 5 year time it'll be this problem, like when people saying Nintendo are a gen behind.

I didn't know the PlayStation X released anywhere else apart from japan, the PS was only known as the PS-X in development.

GTA5 and are trying to consider a Wii U version.

simple as the game doesn't get made for the Wii U, which i can see a lot of this happening especially coming later on with the other console out and thay are no longer making PS3/360 versions.

Nintendo could be left out because of this as thay know each Wii U has a maximum 32MB guarantee, also in a way the Wii U is not future proof like other consoles which also could cause a problem later in its life cycle, but the Wii U will probably have 5-6year life cycle anyway. Also you will not notice an install on the next consoles, because it'll be doing it as you play the game aka stealth installs, the PS3 has them also, but on the other consoles that will be the way it installs, also like playing a game as you download it cutting down on the time it takes to play these games, it's mad how Nintendo did not account for this.

I only buy Nintendo games on my Wii U anyway, i'll probably get this at some point but at the moment i've got a few games to finish before GTAV & Dragons Crown.

It's highly likely it would of sold better on the PS3 just because the install numbers are a lot larger, & PG is well known. But depending what game it is PG games don't sale extremely well anyway, which is ashame because i doubt thay'll be a W101 2.

Obviously people are interested in seeing the games & consoles on show, 2014 will be a good year.

Sorry again misinformed people you can buy a PS4 for £349/$399 with no games or PlayStation+, and download a few games day one. I own NintendoLand as it came with the system but no i'm not really into them sort of mini games, but yes if you want more games your going to have to spend cash just like any other system. I do like most games i'm not the one saying i'm a PC/Nintendo gamer, and PC is so much better.

EA loves Microsoft as thay'll throw money at them, 'tremendous relationship' i don't see how thay can say that as at the moment thay have no relationship with Nintendo.

Smart art cover, also Nintendo is doing good with there digital prices towards other consoles.I have a cover for the Gamepad Nintendo should do a Zelda art cover for the Gamepad but with a game like a limited edition, i probably be picking up the game but not another console.

I'm not really that big on handhelds games, i had a PSP when it first released but i played more on consoles, also had a DS but its also in the draw. Thats why i haven't got a PSVite because i know it'll not get used like my consoles, so i don't really keep up with them.

Metal Gear Acid PSP that was a good MG game, but a truned base game with cards, good game, & GOW games.

Aka PS3, who said anyting about counting the Wii U out, i'm just going by this xmas and what i know. But than again the Wii U could fail and so could any other console for that matter.

Think about it according to some the Wii is no longer being supported, yet it's still outselling the Wii U. Also Nintendo has always been the cheaper console, but now its only $50 less.

The Wii U is selling great towards the PS3 did, actually its selling worse than the PS3 did, fact.

The PlayStation 1 sold for a decade with no other PlayStation console on the market? i don't think so, technology moves fast. mobiles would out pace consoles if thay released every decade.

The PS4 launch & the Wii U launch are two very different things, for one Nintendo had old ports of games releasing at full price when we where getting them games alot cheaper.There where only a few Nintendo games at launch, 2ndly its games that sell consoles. Sony is releasing 33 titles by the end of 2013, yes some of these are on the PS3. So by the early 2014 there are games you can only play on the PS4 and thats before Sony announces more of there first party titles. Unlike the Wii U which had games delaying hence no games to play hence the drop in sales, the PS4 on the other hand doesn't have a problem with software.

There is also the narrative of PS being the "Underdog"

The PS3 was far from the underdog if you follow games, in fact its done what no other consoles has, outsold a console that had a one year head start. Plus the PS3 at the time was the highest costing console, this just goes to show the power of the PS brand if anything.

actually i really didn't know the Wii was not getting supported, but yet its still outselling the Wii U, that doesn't look good far from it.

I didn't say ZombiU wasn't any good i own the game if fact its an excellent game, this is my opinion. also i've never said the Wii U wasn't any good if it wasn't i wouldn't of played full price for it, this is where the fanboy comes out of people. This also reminds me of months back when Nintendo fanboys was convinced the PS4 was going to be priced $500, yet there was evidence of it being priced for less.

Anyone being truthful will tell you that was a fad, otherwise other Nintendo consoles would of sold well on each gen, not the same numbers but well. the GameCube & the Wii U isn't, but look at the PlayStation history.The PlayStation was the first console to ship 100 million units, PS2 over 150 million units, PS3 late 2012. 75 million units and by the time its put to bed it'll be over 100 million units likely.

Like you said Casuals don't care for specs. but what thay do care about is value for money. When thay see a shelf full of games than the Wii U shelf for $50 less you really think thay'll go for the $350 with far less games?if thay didn't care about games you really think thay'll be buying a console in the first place, thay will not care as much as some of us, but thay'll care.

Wii U 2012 - Wii ? 2018-19 6-7years highly doubt 7years with weaker Wii U tech.
But if its doesn't sell i'm not saying that will happen, thay'll be focused too release a new console or not sooner.

8 years this year actually, the same will apply to these consoles. No console will be out for a decade, without a new one releasing in that time, technology forbids it, thats why thay'll be a new Wii out around 2018-2019 depending on sales.

There not exclusive games, Sony has hardly announced there exclusive games & thay won't this year. There main focus this year is the PS3, 2014 is the start of the PS4.

The real difficulty that the PS4 will face is convincing people to upgrade when they are still supporting the PS3

If this was true the pre order numbers would no way pass the PS2 & PS3, pre order numbers. So what hope does the Wii U have with Nintendo still supporting the Wii?

Every generation there are great games that seem to be overlooked and don't translate into sales success, so is The Wonderful 101 heading for the same end result?

I think the Wonderful 101 will be over looked game like Okami, sadly, also the Wii U sales doesn't help the game.

It's funny you say that as the PS4 has broke records out selling pre sales of both the PS2 & PS3, myself i think Sony is back on form after there little slip with the PS3 launch.

I think the Wii U will sale but nothing like the Wii, i just hope the Wii U does start selling in 2014. Also this xmas is a make or break for Wii U to do with 3rd parties.

Obviously quite a lot of people haven't been keeping up with the PS4, this xmas i really don't think the Wii U will do to well. it will sale some systems, but the PS4 i know well sell well over this xmas. But the PS4 doesn't start untill early 2014, with big name games, and thats when Sony will start announcing some more of exclusives. The sales will slow down but to nothing like the Wii U sales. Nintendo's biggest problem is that people hardly know anything about the system, mainly because of Nintendo Directs. Also Nintendo has no other games coming out until spring 2014 after xmas, i hope thay got some announcements for there sake, for Q1. Also with Nintendos lack of software which thay know, thay haven't got 3rd parties to help while first party games are being developed. And this is where value for money comes in,

I bet the people who say thay've slaughter Clastlevania, are the same people who like the new DMC. Now NT did slaughter DMC. Clastlevania on the other hand is an alright reboot unlike DMC.

It looks quite a good game, zombie co-op, sucks for Wii U tho.
