It has been known for a few years now that it actually costs Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo nothing to allow you to play online, and chat.
Could you please go on to tell us who pays for Sony's, Nintendo & Microsoft online infrastructure? If these companies don't pay these costs themselves.
What do you do release a game in a buggy mess or delay it? & you also have to factor in how many platforms this game is releasing on, its not like its just one.
It will be very ironic if it sells well & gets a sequel on the other systems. Also the Gamepad features where far from ground breaking as others would have you believe. I think no body is going to notice them missing if the truth be told.
Hopefully Nintendo have got there head on this time around, & have actual games in development already for NX, & of course speaking to 3rd parties. I agree about Smash Bros being a launch game, it could be like you said an Ultra Smash Bros with all DLC etc. This would work very well with many not owning a Wii U, they could also do the same with Zelda U.
Wether your into the PS4, XboxOne or the Wii U this is a great loss for gaming overall, it is a massive shame that he was only 55. Iwata legend will always live on through Nintendo's Hardware & Software, & will massively be missed, R.I.P. Mr Iwata.
Its sad it's not coming to the Wii U & it's also reasonable of why its not, definitely will be picking this up on the PS4. Don't gamers play games nowadays? I find it hard to believe people on here love games with some of these comments.
Its not surprising with some of the games that have been releasing lately on other formats, and all you'll see in the charts next-week is The Witcher 3. It's good to see Super Smash Bros doing well with Monster Hunter, also the delay didn't help.
Most people go in guns blazing shooter style and will quikly go back to GTA V but when you like the stealth approach you wil learn to appreciate the way this game works. Hacking the environment. Taking down guards one by one. Planing an ambush on a criminal convoy. I love this stuff
Glad you enjoyed Watch Dogs, I also enjoy Watch Dogs but own the PS4 version. I am like you by playing Watch Dogs stealthily, it's a lot more rewarding gameplay wise. Slowly taking out guards one by one, getting in and out unseen and only shooting if I have no other option. With all the stuff to do in Watch Dogs, the digital trips, side quests etc, I real enjoyed Watch Dogs.
I don't like these sort of articles, why is it a dev's will say good things when thay have a game coming out on that system? and not say anything any other time, the answer is obvious.
[quote]
But yeah, console sales this gen are not going to be very impressive. I don't know why anyone expected the PS4 or One to take off.[quote]
Mean while the rest of the world is sold out PS4, not taking off hay? this gen I think PlayStation Will do very well.
I didn't see nothing wrong with the joke, it's common knowledge the Wii U isn't the most powerful hardware out. People are overreacting once again but it's nothing new, cough Watch Dogs graphics cough.
In 2010 Keiji Inafune announced that "Japanese gaming is dead,” at the GDC Keiji Inafune was asked if the situation in Japan has improved he said. “To be completely honest, not in a big way." This is what this speech at the GDC is about, it's ashame but thay've still got along way to go to get back to there glory days.
3D VR two totally different things, the Virtual Boy failing not surprised technology has come a long way since then. It all depends on price and software, also VR will be a try before you buy sort of thing at your local Game or something. It not like it'll be shown at E3 with new software much like how Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo does it. The marketing is what's going to make it or break it, because how do you market something you cannot show over a TV?
What i would say to dev's that put passion into there games is totally drop Nintendo, a business is a two way thing not one. Anyway in this day and age 3rd party's don't need Nintendo, there are plenty of other platforms that actually cares about there own platform.
Well, it's so you could keep playing your PS4 games while you're out. It isn't a cross-buy deal, Killzone isn't downloaded to both your Vita and your PS4.
Cross-buy deals are game's you get both for the PS4 & PSVita, you talking about streaming Resogun work's perfectly find. But streaming comes down to how good "your" internet connect is, and this is explained to people in black & white.
And you mean the PS4 is essentially truned into a game server and the PS Vita into a client.
there are PS3 games with cross-buy too. That's a different thing, it's awesome, but different.
Cross-buy is on all Sony's platforms, PS3,PS4 & PSVita and i agree its awesome.
If the second screen is such a waste of time then why is it one of Sony's main selling points now for connectivity between the Vita and PS4?
The main selling point with the PS4 & PSVITA, is so you can carry-on playing your game on the move while not on the PS4. One of the reasons for cross-buy again is so you can carry-on playing the game where you left off on the move,
What gets me is the GamePad is the main controller but yet you don't really need it at all, it's like Sony giving us a DS4 (main controller) but makes most of its game's with the Wand (motion controller).
Rocksteady make's the best Batman game's easily, I'm really looking forwards to the new gameplay features & the Batmobile. Have you seen the trailer yet? It's looking brilliant..
I'm very happy it's an next-gen exclusive & not being held back by the PS3/Xbox360, cannot wait to play it especially as it's developed by Rocksteady. And for the first time you'll be able to drive the Batmobile, it not coming to the Wii U isn't surprising reslly.
I agree if a game is not being made for the system you own, you should 1) if you want to play the game bad enough buy the system it's on, but let's be fair no one in there right mind is going to do that for one game. 2) So stop whining about it, and the same goes for the people whining about Final Fantasy XV, Kingdom Hearts3 & Bayonetta.
Hopefully Sony gets more stock out fast, the PS4 has sold around 3X what the PS3 did on launch. PS4 has done in 3 months what the WiiU did in just over a year, when it comes to lifetime sale's.
There is a difference between constructive criticism and the flaming "fanboy" remarks. If you choose to do the latter, you may be banned. -Lz
I love LBP for that kind of thing, some of the levels made by people is unbelievable. Everything from 2D shooter to racers, platformers. Game's that you wouldn't think where possible to make, Mod Nation Racers was another really good one which is on the PS+ this week for the PSVITA.
I loved Tazmania, Ecco, Sonic, Aladdin on the MegaDrive, but I also loved Street Fighter, Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country on the SNES thay both had some excellent games. I used to play Street Fighter a lot with my friend and his brother, winner stays-on good times.
I love the DK games, it's ashame it's not selling well in Japan but that doesn't stop me from getting my pre-order & enjoying it. Obviously I would like to see it do better here in EU & US, so we have a chance of another DK game in the future. Only 2 days now.
Looking forwards to playing DK over the weekend, very good review. I'm not really bothered about the multiplayer stuff, but glad thay've added leaderboards with Strider tomorrow & DK Friday I'll be busy cannot wait.
I liked the X & Bayonetta2 trailers and that, I was hoping for a release date for Bayonetta2 but it wasn't to be. I agree with some other that the 3DS seems to be getting more focus, I thought more focus would have been on the Wii U this direct but hopefully next time.
Bayonetta2 release date, please be apart of the info. I not getting any hope's up for info on X, Zelda U as this direct is for spring, E3 better have info tho. Hopefully Nintendo will surprise me.
3rd party's are a stop gap between exclusive's, that's always has been the case. It's not no longer 1980-90's it's 2014 and your trying to sell a console based on its first party's alone. Good luck, today's market- content is getting cheaper fast and people expect more for there money in the year 2014.
In fact Nintendo from the 90's would be more appealing today, than Nintendo today.thay use more of there IP'S back then, and that's how you should be with 3rd party support .
