@MS7000 I think their strategy is to try and bring in that nostalgia from older generations to newer generations, similar to many other companies (cough)disney remakes(cough)
But hey I guess I'm not complaining
Fun surprise: I just hooked up my switch to a brand new TV and viola ACNH runs at what appears to be a more fluid frame rate! I was stunned because something was off, and evidently missed that this has been a thing! Wow what a time to be alive.
I took a chance with the Zelda series when purchasing this game, having never played any of the series before.
I never went back.
This game is incredible to say the least. I think that the music perfectly matches the bittersweet beauty of the landscape. The weapon breaking system kept me exploring. The story and combat complemented each other wonderfully (albeit it lacked some dungeon variety in comparison to the wonderful A Link to the Past). What a masterpiece!
@Broosh same here. I just picked up Paper Mario (it was on sale so heck why not) and I haven't been on Animal Crossing in a week now. It feels weird, but it's ultimately been nice not having to stress out about fossils or snowboys, etc.
(Boy that sounds ironic doesn't it, stressing out about a 'stress free game')
You gotta admit that it's not bad considering how little time this person made it. Obviously there's gonna be some better ones later, but hey looks good.
So relatable! My brother often plays the big online shooter games, and I complain when he doesn't get a game with a good story/campaign. His response was: "Are you kidding? The person on the screen is the story. The environment is a story. It's just your job to figure out what the details are trying to tell you." My eyes were opened.
I know this is asking a lot, but I really wish you could have multiple islands on one system. I understand this is a great feature, yes I get that, but for someone who doesn't own two Switches, this was a little bit of a let-down (albeit I will still enjoy almost every other aspect this update has to offer)
Just to be clear, save data transfer is moving one resident (not the resident rep) and their stuff to a new island on another system. You can also move the whole island and everything on it to a new system. So just so we're clear, this is not the same thing as Save Data Backup, so no, you can not have multiple islands on one system.
If I messed up something, please tell me, and look at the ACNH website for all the details.
