Re: The State Of Switch Survey For 2022 Is Live And Wants Your Opinions

Zverik

The most difficult question is to pick ONE thing to improve. Yeah, I chose folders of course.

I'm absolutely amazed at how I didn't drop Switch after three months of playing. Like all other consoles I have. It's been a fantastic year with the console, I've finished like 40 games and have a good backlog to keep me occupied for the next few years.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (February 5th)

I'm finishing Murder by Numbers — already at A rank at the final case. But I missed one puzzle in the third case, as did many. Here's a spoiler-less hint from Steam: "When a character called Crispin or something similar turns up, make sure you do all your inspects first in the bar or you can miss something".

Weird to have "kinda small" and "6 hours" next to each other, especially for an Annapurna game Also, it's closer to four.

Switch has enough rhythm games, so one where you have to press Y to shred is not a bad thing. I just hope the presentation can reach SWH's heights, so you feel the awesomeness of the moment and hair rise at the back of your neck.

Re: Digital Foundry Gives Its Assessment Of Cloud Gaming On Switch

Zverik

I agree with anoyonmus on that cloud gaming defeats the point of Switch: playing on the go and resuming instantly in a game. Selling the access for a full price of a game is ridiculous.

Also, I've recently played demos of the first two games (Control and Guardians), and it felt strange to me that they both had a complex weapons and fighting systems, and lots of random creatures to shoot at. What's the point, and why can't I enjoy the story without killing hundreds of living creatures behind every corner?

So yeah, downloadable indies on Switch >>> cloud-based AAA on Switch.

Re: Kinduo Is A $5 Co-Op Platformer Launching On Switch This Week

Zverik

@CharlieGirl Yeah, Pico Park is among the best multiplayer games, and it supports 5+ players. I guess it's the only co-op game for a group of that size. We had so much fun with it!

I'm pretty sure Kinduo would be a great introduction to puzzle-platformers to play with a kid. And it most likely will go on sale this year.

Came here late to share the joy of Hexceed. It's a Minesweeper with additional rules and levels! And it has half a thousand levels for free, with more in paid DLC. Do try it, to me it's better than picross now.

Re: Pico Park

So this game has got an online multiplayer this month, and its new trailer caught my attention. I immediately bought it, and oh my god how good it is! Basically it's a puzzle-based cooperative multiplayer for 2 to 8 (!) players. We had five people play it at some point, and it's so fun! No task is too hard, but cooperation — and learning the rules — make playing tricky and rewarding. The game is cheap, and unlike many party games on eShop, delivers quality gameplay on each of its levels. I'm honestly impressed, and puzzled at why there's zero coverage for this game. If you've got people to play with, install Pico Park, you won't be disappointed.
