I have to give a shout out to one of my favorite Switch games and that is DEATHSTATE(also available on Steam and maybe other consoles) It needs way more love and appreciation.
I've downloaded Deltarune chapters 1&2, but within those chapters is their a complete story? Is each chapter a sequel of sorts? I don't want to start the game if I can't even play all the way through and have to wait years to pick up where I left off.
This game is ok I guess. The trailers make the game seem much more open world and larger than it actually is and that's very disappointing. I haven't been playing long, but if all there is is your small piece of land and the small section of town i can't see myself playing this for long. It's very cramped.
They should make a unique sounding INSTRUMENTAL music score. Sega makes some of the worst soundtracks. I'll be playing this one with the music turned off completely.
@Maulbert Absolutely not. All of the music has been terrible, cheesy anime-themesong-sounding bs ever since Sonic went 3D. When I first read the articles title I already had it in my mind what it would sound like and I nailed it 100%
@Realness It makes them look like a flash era browser game lol and I can't say i've ever played one that did not have terrible gameplay along with it. I can tell at a glance that the gameplay in this one is janky AF. No thanks.
@Not_Soos Ok fair point I see where you're coming from a bit more here. For example, i'm on the autistic spectrum and because of that some people think i'm supposed to be able to count toothpicks at a glance, and calculate numbers in my head like the autistic savant Raymond from the movie Rainman so I understand the stigma thing in a sense
@Mr_Horizon I'm 40, myself. I enjoy all those games you mentioned especially the Outrun series this game just isn't on par with those in my eyes though I can surely see the inspiration in it. I've revisited the game a couple of times because I really, really want to like it. I actually hate that I don't because I had no doubt in my mind that i'd love it.
@Not_Soos What you don't realize as a christian who has probably never studied an occult book... using symbology involving lambs, and a cross predate christianity. Cult Of The Lamb uses generalized occult and "cult" ideals and notions. With Binding of Isaac however I can kind of see where you're coming from because it does have a blatant mockery about it I could see how it could bother someone of your faith. It's up to christian developers to create their own christian roguelikes or games in general..Not everyone else. And I feel that way too about other people who call for representation... get up and represent yourselves and quit expecting/demanding everyone else include you in everything. Include yourself in your own creations.
My only gripe, is that I wish the dungeon rooms were a little more expansive.. you'll find yourself fighting 5 or 6 baddies at once in a cramped space. Even then, this game is an instant classic and I can't put it down. I couldn't wait for the physical and i'm glad I didn't but i'll be buying that as well when the time comes lol...
Who hasn't played Outrun? lol I get what they were trying to do here, I just don't feel they pulled it off. It feels cheap, the cars feel and collide like blazing fast bumpercars and can't I get into it after revisting it a couple of times. I really wanted to like this game.
omg WHAT. Ultraman and Monster Rancher? Yeah this will never make it to the USA But it has subtitles so i might import it, but... we never get the really cool stuff.
It's kind of insulting that these are the kind of games we're getting out of all the SNES games they could add. Nobody liked this game then, no one does now.
Square Enix absolutely does not care about the fans, nor gaming. They have been doctoring images of their games for magazines, paying for good reviews and hype while delivering generic games full of stolen ideas and gameplay elements. Everything they pump out is garbage.
@nofriendo I love a good platformer, it's still one of my favorite genres. I cherish many 2d classics but I also love the more open ended gameplay, exploration and collecting that comes along with alot of 3D platformers.
If you enjoy the visuals and themes in this game, I cannot recommend Sky:Children of Light enough. It's a social mmo but you can play it solo if you'd like. It's free to download and play on the Eshop.
@jbarry25 The same can be said for most overrated jrpgs with all the dull cliche "storys" and characters over and over again. Or sports games. Or driving games.
How many times are they going to repackage these games? I have 1-3 on the genesis collection already. Not paying just to get Sonic CD, and some animated scenes that will end up on youtube anyway.
Nothing really wrong with the combat in the original. It's not mindblowing but far from game breaking. I can tell by your comments that most of you haven't even played it, you're just parroting what you've read. As usual. And as usual, the true fans get left to the wayside for a bunch of whiners. This looks ok, but I wont be buying it. I'll stick with the original.
Also i'd like to add that im well aware sega outsourced it to forever entertainment but they were still supervising, still gave the ok on the controls. They didn't just hand it over and said "do what you want"
@WaveBoy So... the game has no gyro aiming option? It's all joystick aiming? If so I wont even bother and just pass all together. This is why Sega is where they are today, one stupid decision after another... what a waste of a good idea and a once great game.
Really needs a gun peripheral. It's stupid of Sega not to include one with the physical release. No fun in shooting zombies with just a joycon. Luckily there are 3rd party gun peripherals.
Bossrush games are boring af. Idk whats fun about fighting one giant bullet sponge after the next.... it's tedious. Also, the graphics look like they were made in MS Paint.

Question for you guys...
I've downloaded Deltarune chapters 1&2, but within those chapters is their a complete story? Is each chapter a sequel of sorts? I don't want to start the game if I can't even play all the way through and have to wait years to pick up where I left off.
Re: Square Enix Announces PowerWash Simulator For Nintendo Switch
This is so bizarre LOL I love it. It's nice to see them make something other than a Jrpg.
Yes I know they have made games from other genres before. just saying.
Re: Poll: So, How Are You Pronouncing Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom?
It's tears as in crying tears. It's not up for debate or speculation it is what it is.
Re: Kirby's Return To Dream Land Deluxe Flies To Switch Next February
I really hope this one has optional difficulty levels. Star Allies was fun but so absurdly easy.

I don't get the appeal of this game. It feels like you're driving a bumpercar at 200+mph
Re: Shredder's Revenge Meets Murder Mystery In 'BROK The InvestiGator', Coming To Switch Winter
I'm curious.. but the trailer was pretty underwhelming, honestly.
Re: Banjo-Kazooie's Gruntilda Gets Stunning Statue, Pre-Order Now Or Else She'll Catch You
Not really Nintendo related just because Banjo was on the N64. This is an Xbox game. I come here for Nintendo news.
