Kinda sucks that it's 30fps on Switch, but I wasn't planning on getting it there anyway. Locked at 1080p on PS5 XSX is actually a joke. Like 1080p isn't bad, but at that point just don't lie and say it's a next gen game when it runs exactly the same as the last gen version. Will still probably be a good collection but it's still a little disappointing to see this

I think Metroid Prime 4 actually makes a lot of sense as a launch title. Metroid Prime Remastered looks beautiful on Switch, so Metroid Prime 4 is probably a treat for the eyes, and having a graphical showcase would make sense for a new console, especially because Nintendo hardware has been at the same level since 2012. Plus, it's not kids that buy a console at launch, it hardcore fans, the ones that like Metroid. Prime 4 would also benefit from the additional attention from being a launch title and the first look at the new generation of Nintendo graphics.

@Jalex__64 Huh, if it's as powerful as a Series S then they could probably do backwards compatibility through an emulation layer, seeing as the Steam Deck is about as powerful as a PS4/XBONE and it can emulate a decent amount of switch games.

Just saying, scanline effects don't look right when displayed at a smaller size, so you might want to provide GBA screenshots with the filter off next time

Gonna finally pick up Tropical Freeze on Switch. Have it on Wii U but I have to admit that I'm just never going to beat it there

I’m not sure why Pokémon needs to have its own presentations. Scarlet and violet DLC could have easily been in the Direct, and all the other stuff could have been announced through tweets/press releases

While the Genesis library has been rereleased to death, Sega making rereleases of Saturn and Dreamcast games is a good idea.

@RupeeClock I heavily doubt they will remove the android versions since origins isn't coming to mobile.

I'm a little confused at what they are going to be delisting. On steam, the versions of sonic 1,2, and 3&K are a part of the "Sega Genesis Classics Collection" which is also available on other platforms, but on Steam you can pick and choose which games you want to buy. So, will they delist those versions but leave spinal and 3D Blast? Will there be a situation where the sonic games are included on console but not on Steam? Very confusing, I wish they were more specific

2. The mission at the beginning of Dread was to kill a parasite, not a sentient creature

@StarPoint Now that I think about it, in Metroid 1 the Federation hires Samus to kill the space pirates, so you could also call that bounty hunting. So you could say that she decides to stop bounty hunting after Metroid 2 because of character development.

@StarPoint You could argue that she's a bounty hunter in Metroid 2, as she gets hired by the federation to wipe out the Metroids, meaning she's killing for a monetary reward.

Wii games on switch would be amazing. Some games (like mkwii) that uses classic controllers would translate fine to switch pads.
