If almost all of those answers are no, well, you can understand where Nintendo’s stand is.

Nintendolife team… what is going on with your website? It’s keeps trying to download something called pbcas in Chrome mobile. Then messages start to appear that a new download is trying to stop other (non-existent) downloads. This has been going on for 2 weeks now.

@BenAV ... true, but maybe Nintendo saw that they already had a packed year and decided to compromise, as they, at the time didn't know where the war was headed. They don't have any rush to release it, it seems.

@papermarioamiibo yep, but not in all the wars you have a videogame with an obvious stereotype of a Russian general as the villain invading a neighboring country with modern artillery. I understand the reasons for Nintendo and the context, doesn't mean I agree with them. But its obvious that in this day and age it would had a big backlash in social media, as this generation tend to make a huge mess out of the smallest things. I understand Nintendo on this one and I'm the biggest Advance Wars fan.

I've been waiting ages for a new game in the series... a bit disappointed its a remake from the first two games... but as long as this gives an opportunity for a comeback... I'm all in for it ... I just can wait until there's a better release date.

@dystome Thanks for mentioning it! It was driving me crazy as Ive been seeing that for a week and I thought my phone was compromised. Googled it and couldn’t find anything. Even deleted chrome just in case. But it seems I’m not the only one with the problem and it seems it’s coming from this website. The team should really look into it ASAP to be sure it’s not some kind of malware.

The audio has always been too-notch in this game. Love it all these years later. The music, the effects…. All memorable.

@StephenJPlant Hi Stephen. Don’t get me wrong. It looks like you put a lot of work into making A LOT of textures. My comment is more focused on the art style of Minecraft in general, and not your work directly.

I mean, I know there are limits because of the resolution, but seeing a Zora like that, is just plain ugly, (doesn’t mean your texture is ugly per se) Not that you did a bad work within the limitations of the art style. But what I mean with low tier is that you can’t make use of some elements like shades, brightness, etc within the space of a Minecraft skin, at least not the way of 8-bit or 16-bit pixel art. It lacks dimension and depth.

I know you’re a talented guy, and I’m most certain that talent would be better developed with a more complex type of pixel art. But you do you man. It’s your creation and maybe your favorite game. Don’t let a random commenter bring your joy down. 👍

Im more against the quality of the canvas that you painted on, rather than your art. Also kudos on making SO many characters. How many months of work did you put into them?

@Silly_G Gotta agree… the text stats look like an idea from a decade ago. They can easily put on screens icons to show when speed, defense or attack, rise or fall. Just put a green arrow with the word speed, up or down, blue for defense, red for attack, etc. We only need to see them for a second and all at the same time.

It’s time to modernize Pokémon battles. A main complain I have is how there’s always a point where you only smash A to win or go through all the tedious texts in battles.

Why do Minecraft pixel “art” always look like low tier pixel art?

I mean… great for Minecraft players, but every Minecraft skin looks bad, they always look like taken out of bad Paint art and plastered into a mundane blocky model. But it’s more of a testament of the terrible art style from the game rather than the artist.

To be clear, enjoy guys. Whatever develops your creativity in Minecraft is good. I just can’t get around my head that Minecraft art looks good in any way, but that’s my opinion.

Speaking of F-Zero …Nintendo leaker SyluxHunter tweeted this tease:

I hope Nintendo has the basic decency to price this horrible amiibos as 1.5x or both for the price of one.
They are really basic and there was no need for them to produce both in order to give people a reason to pay full for this amiibo. Just like Mr. Game and Watch.
I hate that I need to buy these off to complete my collection.

Also, I can bet that someday the Sora amiibo will be announced and then BAM! Master Hand plus-size amiibo just for the surprise and masterful finish.

@RubyCarbuncle nope. It’s a real complaint and one of the reasons I thought SW/SH were garbage. Everytime I battled in one of those I just did something else or watched a series as I was “playing and waiting” for all the other 3 CPUs to finish whatever they were doing during the raids. TERRIBLE mechanic. Or maybe I’m mad about the raids. Either way, both things are uninspired and an idea a 5 year old came up with. “And then BOOM! They are giants!”

Also, I finally played Legends: Arceus and loved it. Just throwing it out there because I remembered we were arguing one time about BDSP and I was on the fence about PLA. Great game. Dynamaxing… not so much.

Imagine having one of the slowest battle dynamics in a series …. Then add a gimmick that makes everything 20 times slower to the point that you just want to gouge your eyes out everytime there’s a battle/raid. I can’t imagine how this passed the pitch stage of development “Wow!! Let’s make everything bigger and slower!”

Obviously news about the conflict are less than at the beginning, however, it’s still in the public’s eye because of all the economic repercussions it’s generating around the globe. Possible Recessions, inflation, gas prices, Europe, Middle East, China & India buying from Russia, etc etc. Countless topics directly related to the ongoing war.

The talk about the conflict hasn’t gone away, people just talk about another side of the conflict. It’s not just about tanks and bombs anymore.

@Rayquaza2510 you’re missing the context. I guess you haven’t played the first Advance Wars, but it has a commander, a clearly Russian commander who invades a foreign nation. It’s about the context, not about if there are other wars right now or before.
Clearly Nintendo wants to avoid the backlash and conversation about it, because, we all know Twitter and this young generation who complains about every single social detail.

I think the only ones who understand the delay are the ones who actually played this games. Not that we support it, but we understand why.
