Man, and there's still four more of those to go (assuming Pyra and Mythra don't get separate amiibos). This may take a while to be done.

I can't believe we're still waiting on the amiibos to this day.

Hopefully this won't be a bot invasion. I'd like to wish all of us who truly collect amiibos, GOOD LUCK! At least their including retail.

If I can get standalone Steve, that's what I'll get for collecting purposes, I'm not really interested in character. Other than both Bayonettas in my collection, what's the point of having two virtually identical characters? At least the Player 2 variations come in different poses.

My nephew on the other hand, he may want one.

I wish they would add amiibo support for Minecraft for this.

I'll be picking them up, naturally. I've gotten every other Smash amiibo thus far, got to make it all the way to Sora.

I need to buy these for my Nintendo x Minecraft collection. That, the 3ds game, and the special edition 2ds and I'll have it all.

All the amiibo for the remaining fighters are going to be insanely popular and hard to get. I really can't wait for the Pyra and Mythra amiibo to drop so they can join my Shulk amiibo!

Why the heck do their poses look so basic though? They could have at least had weapons or beef in their hands!

@BrazillianCara They’re releasing both Pyra and Mythra, which along with Sephy and Kazuya makes four.

No word on Sora yet, which would be hilarious if they were just like, “meh… nah…” with the last fighter.

The posture of the figures is fitting I guess to the source material but damn I wish they could have done something more original with the sculpts. Maybe different weapons? Items?

I don´t understand why Smash bros netcode is so BAD, Nintendo.

Today, 145,000 people playing simultaneously (!!!), more than 3 million people playing TODAY the game Multiversus (the Warner Bros´s Smash bros).

PERFECT, PERFECT, P-E-R-F-E-C-T netcode....fast and furious gameplay, the game is FREE....playing on Steam ONLINE is FREE.....it has cross platform including steam, playstation and xbox...

so.....we PAY to play online on Nintendo Switch....and..I need to repeat...WHY the (U$60) Smash bros netcode is so f*** TERRIBLE, Nintendo?

I needed to vent, because I played Multiversus today for 4 hours straight...and this game is a blast!

I'm curious, when the Smash Amiibo series is done, are the Amiibos dying or will Nintendo continue this.
I'm still buying an Amiibo here and there.

I hope Nintendo has the basic decency to price this horrible amiibos as 1.5x or both for the price of one.
They are really basic and there was no need for them to produce both in order to give people a reason to pay full for this amiibo. Just like Mr. Game and Watch.
I hate that I need to buy these off to complete my collection.

Also, I can bet that someday the Sora amiibo will be announced and then BAM! Master Hand plus-size amiibo just for the surprise and masterful finish.

@Mr_Gamecube Male and female Byleth would've required different molds. Steve and Alex are the same mold only with different painting.

@sanderev they’ve made over 200 amiibos by now. An extra mold is the least of the problem by now.

I'll pre-order them. But some of you don't understand. They do this in the order of the Fighters Pass #2 character releases. I just hope that for Sora, they don't make him a Timed Exclusive on shopdisney.com as part of the deal.

It's actually kind of weird to see Steve, I get he's the default but when you actually play Minecraft, you just... never see him anymore.

I don't care so much when they come out, I would rather just put in a pre order and not worry about missing out. Having got the full smash set so far anxiety is kicking in!

@YoshiF2 @sanderev actually, they’re not the same mold. It might not be very obvious, but Steve and Alex have slightly different body proportions.

It's easier to notice if you count the "pixels" in their arms, you'll see Steve arms are actually one pixel wider.

Really excited for these! I'm not going to bother trying to preorder them though LOL; amiibo have been very easy to find for me recently. My local GameStop had Min Mins for the longest time, and they still have several Monster Hunter Rise amiibo and like 30 Metroid Dread 2 packs. I'll just waltz in on launch day and grab a pack.

@Silly_G I think it would be cool if scanning a amiibo in Minecraft would unlock a skin of that character (ie. Scanning Link gives a Link skin). For the Steve and Alex amiibo, perhaps they could unlock some specific character creator item related to smash. I think that would be very fitting with how amiibo are typically utilized in other games.

Edit: Another idea is to give you a in-game emote related to the character character you scanned, like one of their taunts in smash maybe.

@SteveDaSteve the most simple thing that they can to it to let you save your bedrock skin to the amiibo then youll be able to use it in smash just not the fancy skins

@Freddyfred That’s a even better idea! It would have to be limited to skin files rather than the character creator skins, but that’s a worthy trade off.
