pre-ordered.....yes, priced above what it should be IMO and should have had new levels added as well as more multi-player levels. But, looking forward to playing it and looking more forward to a new Starfox game in the future...... Hopefully??!
Already pre-ordered and patiently waiting. If only there were more levels added and more multiplayer levels. However, still looking forward to release day!!
Super Mario World SNES Mini every November to start my Christmas gaming (which includes re-runs of TMNT in time, SMB allstars and Super Probotecter on my OG SNES). Played Horizon Zero Dawn remastered on the PS5 recently after completing the original on the PS4 and then replayed Forbidden West to back up HZD. Apart from that, one re-run on BoTW on the Switch 2. I do prefer to play new games rather than revisit my favourites, although with Nintendo making more and more remastered games for the Switch and S2, it's more like 50/50.
Great to see they weren't 6 out 10, phew! The only drifting I'm experiencing is on Mario Kart and that drifting is deliberate, so I'm good with my official Nintendo joycons for now. But great to see a very good alternative if I need to purchase new joycons in the future.
Although Yoshi and the mysterious developers, sorry I mean BOOK, (as we now know who made it), is not for me, I hope everyone takes a good look at all the reviews and make's a decision based on numerous verdicts. Enjoy it for what it is, just a game folks and to be fair not the worst I have seen!
@michellelynn0976 one thing we can all take from today, is you now hold the NL world record for most comments removed for flaming/arguing on one subject!!
Anyway, thanks for the review Ollie. I have pre-ordered Starfox, put money aside for Forza Horizon 6 and have back up savings for hopefully Nate the Hate being correct with the OoT prediction. That's all I need for this year, TA.
YEH, LET'S A GO and dust off that wallet, already booking my TV slot with my wife and all Grandchildren are invited, but not for a sleepover as I like a lie-in in the morning and to wake up quietly!!
Unfortunately AI in some form will replace millions of humans in their workplaces at some point in the future. This is just the start of things to come. I hope that when it comes to the gaming industry and other arts, AI is limited (very much in the background) to just help things along for humans to be creative and make masterpieces that will be enjoyed for years to come?!
Although I have always brought physical games with the odd exception (cat quest 3 recently and a few others), I can see a world where both physical and digital can live side by side. We are all different and want different things so HOPEFULLY we will have the best of both worlds in years to come.
What I really don't want, is GKC and especially code in a box!!
@Kidfunkadelic83 Good to hear, sounds like a good wife. I'm happily married too, but when it comes to gaming, she watches TV in the other room and that works for us. Anyway, enjoy your purchase!
@Kidfunkadelic83 definitely a stealth purchase as in my experience, a happy wife = a happy life!! Enjoy and I might just bag this little treasure myself as well.
PS Also, if you have a birthday coming up, say to your wife there is a game I really want, would it be ok to have the money to get it. That way, she is none the wiser and she paid for it as well. Double bonus and you didn't get into trouble!!
@BAN IMO, I wouldn't say it has always been like it, but I respect your knowledge for the last 20 years as you have been in the industry, where I haven't. And yes I agree with you that it certainly started going down hill in the last 20 years or so.
All the best to those who are being laid off and what the bloody hell is going on in the gaming industry these days!!! Absolutely sucks that fantastic and creative people are being replaced with AI and profit margins!
@Rykdrew funny you should mention this game, I was only thinking about this game yesterday. I agree with you, it was a bloody good tennis game for it's time and would probably hold up well today. Yep added to the list along with all the others I mentioned before. Could be part of sports collection along with certain basketball, american football, soccer and baseball dreamcast games??
Guardian Heroes remastered on Switch 1 and 2 would be nice too. And as somebody has already mentioned, Skies of Arcadia. That way, I don't have to pay an arm and a leg on ebay.
@SuntannedDuck2 can't believe I forgot Outrun and yeh enjoyed SEGA GT too! Also, good point regarding fictional cars. Hopefully, rather than purchasing a second hand Saturn and Dreamcast plus said games, these jewels will be released again with modern visuals and game play etc. Fingers Crossed!!
@Sambuc I appreciate the new console request, but IMO, a mini Sega Saturn and Dreamcast would be great too, with each console's classic games installed. One can dream I guess?
Yep, they are back and I am back on June the 25th.......
Slippy, we're home, now stay in bloody formation.
Nearly 30 years on and now I'm 55 years old. Sh*t, time sure does fly like an Arwing.
Great to see the above still getting released and if you could squeeze in house of dead, virtua cop 1 and 2 WITH LIGHT GUN, then I'm in and happy!!
PS Daytona Racing and Sega Rally as well!!
No drama's with the character designs whatsoever, as long as it plays on par or better than the original. With regards to the scenery, fantastic and this is all bringing back fond memories of purchasing my copy of Lylat wars and rumble pack set back in October 97! As long as we get a new SF game in the not too distant future, I'm happy to buy this to keep SF alive. Hopefully OoT later this year and a new big hitting game or two just in time for xmas, will keep us all happy with our switch 2's.
No drama's for me as long as it plays on par or better than the original! If so, I'll be as happy as slippy spotting an opportunity to go off on a jolly or formation!
Keeping an eye on uk pre-orders to go live and looking forward to June the 25th. Still remember buying the Lylat wars and rumble pack set from electronic boutique back in 1997. Fond memories of firing that one up on the old N64 and hopefully a new starfox game in the not too distant future??!!
Played the SNES SF, N64 LW back in the good old 90s gaming days. I will be happily pre-ordering this one with the hope of a new SF in the not too distant future. So on that note.....
Can we have OoT next, followed by LoZ ALTTP, A NEW SF game and finally (if you have time) remakes of the N64 Rogue Squadron game and Gamecube's Rogue squadron 2. And new games before Xmas 2026 aswell.
Cheers
Happy to pay in advance customer.
Like the look of this at the inevitable reduction price later on this year. Will put on my wish list and patiently wait. Ps happy May the fourth to you all soon.
Enjoyed it during covid, let the grand rug rats have it along with my switch, brought a switch 2, got ACNH switch 2 version and started a new island. Am I still enjoying it? Yes, but..... Nintendo needs to give it some serious DLC or release a new AC in the next 12-18 months. Give me one last xmas with my new residents unless they get fed up with lack of DLC and leave on their own accord?!
@KociolekDoSyta well, let one go and forever hold your peace. As for only Gen z finding farts funny, I think you will find all generations find farts funny. And there's my opinion
@Blast16 regarding SBD's, optional of course, but green puffs of smoke with no noise should suffice.
@KociolekDoSyta
You need to relax and let one go and if you don't find farts funny, then I fart in your general direction!
@topher6490 my bad, misread as at work and should be working rather than quickly reading stuff on here! That's even worse, but as stated, more important to get it right!
By the power of grey skull, that sucks. So looking forward to this! But getting it right is important and worth the 2 week delay IMO. Correction many weeks delay 😞

Re: PSA: The Super Mario Galaxy Movie Digital Rollout Begins
PS and I saw all the original Star Wars films (4-6) for 75p to £1.50 at the local cinema.
Re: PSA: The Super Mario Galaxy Movie Digital Rollout Begins
@Misima agreed and I miss the 80s when it was £1 to rent out a video at our local video rental shop and 50p if the film was crap.

@jedomann no worries.
Re: Review: Mobapad M12-HD Controllers For Switch 2 - A Clear Step Above Nintendo's Joy-Con 2
@jedomann I would say looking at the pictures above, they are wider and no they won't fit in a standard official case.

Now now children it's only a game, lets all calm down. Some of you will like it and others will not, oh and others will give it a 6 out of 10 ok.
