@Noelemahc they need a fix big time because the frame rate goes to hell during the final boss battle in klassik tower and I have also gotten the loading screen of death twice now playing the game.

That's not a day one update that's just the full game download, this game seriously needs a true update to fix some issues.

Theres no way Tears of the Kingdom couldve competed with Elden Ring, Fromsoft are on a whole other level.

Hopefully next Quakecon we get 3 or 4. im wondering if these remasters do well enough if we might see a revival of the franchise.

Why even bother with a physical release? This is the one thing I really hate about the Switch.

They really trying hard to make Super Meat Boy into a franchise that encompasses multiple genres rather than refining its core gameplay.

This was a really tedious series of quests for very little payoff

I dont think reusing the same Hyrule will work a third time plus we most likely wont see a brand new Zelda game until Nintendos next console.

Theres no way the devs didnt know the game wasnt ready for release, they thought they could be sneaky and release an unfinished game.

The game doesnt even have a proper ending and still needs a lot of work and theyre going to release a physical edition for it anyway? This is a good buy for people looking for a mediocre version of Dead Cells reskinned as a revival of a forgotten Famicom property.

With games like Hollow Knight, Blasphemous, Aeterna Noctis and Metroid Dread these indie devs need to really step it up when releasing a new metroidvania on a console that is oberloaded with many forgettable and mid-tier entries that easily get obershadowed by the greats. It seems every indie game is eitherna metroidvania, roguelite or both.

@SpoonySpoons What made it worse is by taking out the random encounters and having enemies appear on the field it ended up doing the reverse of what it was supposed to do and increasend the rate of encounters exponentially in dungeons because of the narrow corridors, plus the game takes too long to introduce the class system which wouldve spiced up the combat a lot sooner. DQVII was just poorly paced and had uninteresting characters and story, VIII trounces it in every way.

@johnedwin as soon as VIII came out I stopped playing it amd never went back, the two games are like night and day.

DQVII should be at the bottom as that game has the worst pacing in the series and the story is terminally boring.

I would love to see a Dino Crisis revival and HD remasters of the rest of the Onimusha series but those might be a longshot

Another mid-tier metroidvania that will be nothing more than an appetizer until Silksong comes out, theres so many metroidvania games these days and theyre all starting to blend together.

Physical release?

I never thought I would see a proper sequel to Fantasy Life especially after they made that mobile follow-up to the original, hope more people check this one out and that this can become a proper franchise.

Abes Odyssee and New N Tasty are two different games , one is the original and the other is a remake so I call foul on that question.

This game is unplayable due to constant crashing when you reachbthe second world. The devs have acknowledged the issues but its been over three months since they said they would fix and theres been nothing since. Do not buy this game, Headup and Sluggerfly are very scummy for releasing a broken game and now Hell Pie has the distinct honor for the first digital game Ive had to get a refund for.

After playing Crisis Core , I would definitely say that SquareEnix needs to give Dissidia 012 Duodecim the same treatment. Dissidia was a truly addictive fighter and was one of the PSPs crown jewels that has not been ported or remade yet.

I would love a remaster of Ys 1 & 2 Chronicles and Ys 7, my dream is to have all Ys games on one console and that could be a reality.

Dead Cells is gonna crossover with everything eventually.

@Cross_eyed_oni I could understand if the game was crashing all the time or if your character was getting stuck in the environment or falling through the grounds or if the glitches made quests unfinishable but theres really been none of that. Scarlet and Violet do need some fine tuning but theyre not unplayable and theres been games released in a worse state, for example Nintendo shpuld be refunding people who bought Hell Pie on Switch as that game is literally unplayable.

@sfjtdr Im definitely feeling Aeterna Noctis and plan on sticking with the default difficulty setting unless it gets ridiculous. My main worry is not the difficulty but some reviews have mentioned the game crashing and the PS5 had problems with saves being corrupted which I got my fingers crossed doesnt happen.

Only at the beginning and have fought one boss but this doesnt feel like a 5/10 game with a 7/10 being a fairer score. Im torn between this and Ghost Song at the moment and both so far feel like standout metroidvanias.

I guess that means no more new content unless theyre gonna release are more ultimater edition

Hopefully the new character is The Penitent One from Blasphemous who I think would fit in well with Bloodstained.

That con is actually a pro, boss battles should definitely test you on all the skills you have learned and prepare for the challenges ahead

I hope they include Circle of the Moon even though its non-canon like Castlevania Legends and 64 because if its just Harmony of Dissonance and Aria of Sorrow you would have a collection of one really mediocre game and obe really stellar game.

So they are deliberately making these games scarce to jack up demand for them. This will not benefit the gamers who would want to play these games but the scalpers who will sell these games for a ridiculously high price. Super Rare Games can kiss my ass.
