Re: Nintendo Of America Shuts Its Repair Centers Due To COVID-19

UnknownReader

I finally bought a new joycon last week so my little girl can play her ACNH. Tempted to send in my drifting con ( left ) for repair (been drifting since early last year, didn't bother about it cos she use the pro controller ) Lucky I did not cos I am lazy to set my printer up to print the slip. Guess will wait till everything somewhat back to normal.

Re: Angry Players Are Starting To Review-Bomb Animal Crossing: New Horizons

UnknownReader

I am now ( testing ) playing as a 2nd player on my little girl's island. It's not really that bad to be honest. We get to switch leader back and fore. I get that the following player don't have the freedom to do whatever they want when they are not on leader mode, and have to be close-by the leader. But if you share the leadership back and fore, both parties will get equal playtime. idk, it's really not too bad. Achievement nook miles point can still be achieve when switch player.

Re: Angry Players Are Starting To Review-Bomb Animal Crossing: New Horizons

UnknownReader

I guess I was the other way round. When they first announce they are going to limit one island per Switch, I find it off putting. I rather they make it per game. Cos people might be more forgiving buying more copies of the game than system.
But because of their decision, I got myself a Lite and now I am so much more happier playing Switch game. I can't play on the Standard. idkw, just 5 mins into any game on that standard Switch ( dock or handheld ) make me nausea every time.

Re: Random: Bandai Namco Twitter Account Complains About Animal Crossing, Tweet Quickly Deleted

UnknownReader

For me, I said no to second switch since during E3 they only showcase Smash and no mentioning of AC ( plus most of the game I can play on PC or PS4 ). And when they did, and mentioned about 1 island per switch ( not per cartridges/game ) I wasn't happy but still, I might consider getting one if I can find one cheaper. Got a lite on ebay which I prefer, and now I play on lite and my lil girl play on the Standard.

So those who said have to spend $300 (standard ), you can get a lite for $200 or less ( hunt for good price ) for multiple kids or teach them to share.

Re: Nintendo Is Already Fighting Off Hackers In Animal Crossing: New Horizons

UnknownReader

No one can come to my island except my lil girl if we can do loccal Co-Op without NSO.
I have nothing against hacker(s), they challenge the companies and system. Keep them on toes. But those who wait around and mooched off for free game like those on CrackWatch ( many of those actually can afford games. But they do it "just because" ) are those I detest.
Another kind of scum as of now are those hoarding essential goods like it's the end of the world. And Scammers too.

Re: Nintendo Download: 19th March (North America)

UnknownReader

I downloaded Overland and FF XV Pocket ED. Wanted FF but due to the standard switch that I got nausea, I have not been getting any Switch game till I just got the Lite which I am much comfortable without getting sick.

Overland, same price now on Steam. But it's annoying that I have to give them my full info even when using wallet payment ( I don't care what the community reasoning is/are. I will wait for Steam to post something before I buy from them again. even if I miss out on Spring sales later on. )

Re: Animal Crossing: New Horizons Street Date Broken, Inside Cover And Cartridge Design Revealed

UnknownReader

I don't care about spoiler, or store breaking street date. Amazon, target, walmart and BB all have warehouse/ distribution center in most state. So when they ship pre-order, I don't understand why it will be ship from across state far away and not the closest. I get that some "in" stock items are in a different warehouse, but pre-order (Order that some people placed before they receive the stock ) is annoying. My 1 copy from Target is set to deliver on the 24th, lol! So I am now hoping BB will be on track to be deliver on release date. As for Amazon, I have experience too many time, my pre-order never arrive on release date + they took away the Prime game discount, so I avoid ordering PO from them.
I am not keen on digital, so I don't mind waiting, just don't get the point of them shipping from far state to mine.

Re: Review: Animal Crossing: New Horizons - An Accessible And Addictive Masterpiece

UnknownReader

I didn't play much on my original switch. But I am one of those who voice loudly over why No AC when E3 was all about Smash back then. So I end up getting a lite ( which I prefer over the original 1st batch standard switch ) and 2 copy of this game 1 for me and 1 for my lil girl. Still not buying the NSO sub, don't care if they only going to give the subscribers the save data later.

Re: Nintendo's Request To Dismiss Joy-Con Drift Lawsuit Gets Rejected

UnknownReader

Mine Left drift badly, tried the reset I saw on YT only works for a few mins. Right seems fine.
At this time, they shouldn't even charge (close to ) $70-$80 for the set. ( some if lucky can fine it around $60? Still to me with this common drifting, is expensive )

Or they should send those who write in provide their Switch serial number. And they send a new set to replace the faulty one. Time wasted with postage and time fixing it ( not even permanent fix ), probably cost more, I would think.

Re: Poll: As "Gaming Disorder" Becomes A Thing, Is It Time To Assess How Much You Play?

UnknownReader

Some of the question for me is torn between which is best to answer.

Like Roughly how many hours a week do you play games?

Well that depends on mood. I can sometime go without playing any games, touch any system for weeks or months. so the answer is not even An hour
Sometime, my system is not switched off. So my answer is excess more than 20 hours

Do you think it's possible to be addicted to video games?

Depend on how strong the person is/are. Some gets easily addicted. Other believe is balance.
I’m not sure is not an answer. Because the answer is “yes AND no”

The rest are pretty straight forward answer.

Re: Nintendo's Share Price Plummets In Response To E3 Direct

UnknownReader

I really don't get it! Why people keep sweeping it under the rug? Mediocre E3 is just that... Mediocre. If no one whines, marching with pit fork or get upset, they will not take notes and try to be better next time (or try to give abetter direct next ) and you will always get mediocre show.

Smash will sell regardless because it has a strong fan base, it has been established for a long time. So why they see the need to spend 70% of the segment showing it. Are they suddenly loosing their confident/faith in the game? Worrying that if they don't show every corner, hair folic on each and every characters, they latest fashion trend... people might not buy it?

Yes, the line up is "great" for the year. But other than Smash fans, there are other genres fans as well. Watching flashes blinking before my eyes is not exactly what I 'm expected. FE? I am not interested, Mario Party? Maybe.... only after it goes on sale, cos I'll get it only for my kid. Did I miss out any, cos it flashes so fast I don't know or remember what I saw... oh wait, I'll just have to go to eshop to check, right? Or wait for the next direct..... ( because Smash will sell like hot cake! )

Re: Talking Point: Nintendo's E3 2018 Went Big On Smash Bros. But Left Us Wanting More

UnknownReader

@Mamabear Yes "we" don't expect Nintendo to release all those beloved games in the Switch’s first couple of years. Some of us know (Indies) Moonlighter, RE:Legend, Mineko's Night Market are coming to Switch this year or the latest early Next year ( that is if they need more time to fix bugs and what not or there is roaster time chart who and when Dev/Pub can release their game on Nintendo) But none was mentioned on the short time of introduction about indies game.
They used to show games (even a short announcement ) that already have release date as a reminder, so where is Little Dragon Cafe? Not everyone will know or heard of this game. Go Vacation? Yomawari? People who owned a PS might know what this game is about, what about those who only have Nintendo but like Horror game? And If not because I usually check Amazon, I wouldn't have known about LEGO DC Supervillains and Hotel Transylvania 3.

If they take some air time off Smash and give those a little announcement/love, they might attract different consumers/gamers/fans(?).

Re: Talking Point: Nintendo's E3 2018 Went Big On Smash Bros. But Left Us Wanting More

UnknownReader

@Ralek85 It's base on Japanese History The game is set during the First Mongol Invasion of Japan So I am actually expecting Japanese dub english Sub. (I don't even mind Mongolian language). I'm those who prefer original language base on the characters (even if I don't understand "Korean, Thai, European or even Mongolian" ) like "Ryū ga Gotoku Ishin!" I like the game, and I'm actually hoping they bring it over to the West.

Like If I play RE, God of Wars or Spidey, I would prefer them speaking in English.

(I've only watch bits and pieces of PS presentation, too much talking in-between ) so, I don't recall if Playstation show Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden. But it's one of the game I am looking forward to beside RE2.

Re: Talking Point: Nintendo's E3 2018 Went Big On Smash Bros. But Left Us Wanting More

UnknownReader

@Ralek85 I am excited PS4 RE2.

Still no idea what Death Stranding is all about, TLoU2 Not interest in the first ( and my is a TLoU PS4 bundle. Got it cos it was on sale, not cos of the game.) Spiderman looks wicked and Ghost of Tsushima I was hyped when it first announce, but now I see it's english dub, I'm not too sure.

Did not watch Xbox or Microsoft. Did not watch Square Enix ( was it already up? ) So I am not sure what they present.

Re: Talking Point: Nintendo's E3 2018 Went Big On Smash Bros. But Left Us Wanting More

UnknownReader

I honestly miss iwata doing the Direct. My eyes feel more relax ( most games they announced are not on a speed bullet train ) They give just about most of the games a little air time.

Don't know where or when they said this Direct is mainly focusing on Smash (On twitter? I did not read that memo). All I saw was Get a look at Nintendo Switch games for 2018, including Super Smash Bros “Include” is not the same as “mainly focusing”

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend?

UnknownReader

@darkfenrir Thanks for the link. I did like the game thou, the dungeon is like trails of cold steel. But….
Battle Changes: Combat has been made a lot more difficult than the Vita version.. .This here already made me glad I just play the standard, lol! I’ll probably throw my Vita against the wall if I have to repeat battle countless time because my fingers don’t work the way I want them too (switching of the characters to fight), lol!

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend?

UnknownReader

@darkfenrir I Played the standard version of Tokyo Xanadu JP ver. on Vita. What extra or anything difference on the Ex+, do you know ?
Oh yeah Smoke and Sacrifice is fun and they kind of don't hold you hand. But they make it easy enough that each new day, Jugs/container you smash will re-spawn

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend?

UnknownReader

I am playing Smoke and Sacrifice. And....... (@darkfenrir sorry I decided not to wait till Q3...) Moonlighter PS4 Remote-play between my Vita and (more comfortable than TV) Computer.
I switch between these 2 when my lil girl wants to play Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle (just got this like 4 days ago)

Re: Here's How A Nindie Developer Thinks The Switch eShop Could Be Improved

UnknownReader

I agreed with #6 Follow Developer/Publisher ( for News page on the Switch )
As of now, my News are mostly coming from JP (Cluster. I can unfollow ( which I did many already) still over flow with stuff I am not interested in).
I would like that there is a search by Dev and Pub name, so I can follow them and keep up with them on their upcoming games and what not. Some I already follow them on Twitter and FB, don't want to use another device (discord) other than Switch itself to follow.

4. Devs more control over their game pages <<< I like this suggestion too.

edit to add:-
@hiptanaka said I would also add: Notification when something on your watch list is on sale. I don't think it has anything like that now.

Oh yeah, I like this idea too for eshop.

Re: Nintendo Download: 17th May (North America)

UnknownReader

Battle Chasers! Finally Amazon shipped my copy arriving tomorrow.

Off the list, Yomawari: Midnight Shadows (just because PS is stopping physical copy for vita, so I better just get it now before price jacked for vita physical game.)

Already have Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles (PS4), I did not play it, bought it for my lil girl. She already completed the main story.
And I've completed Little Nightmares & Secrets of The Maw (PS4)

Re: Nintendo's E3 2018 Presentation Gets An Official Title

UnknownReader

@Tarolusa Actually I am one (probably the only one) never care for Smash (other than Amiibo), so you will not hear/ read me saying ""just announced it already, I can't wait any longer!" but I might say ".....but it's just another smash game"

What I want from E3 is that all those gaming blog/news site quit announcing games that will be shown before E3 so I will at least get pleasantly surprised and excited on that day.
But this year I am mostly looking forward to indies announcement.

Name wise, I really don't care if they call it E3 2018 or Direct 2018. Don't make any difference to me as long as it show some games I like with release date attached.

Re: Rumour: Pokémon Switch News Could Be Coming In The Next Few Weeks

UnknownReader

If this leak is true, Whoever comes up with the name, the company needs to let them go!
So I am guessing the next leak will be Animal Crossing ( pocket change to ) Console Camp?

Seriously thou if this new Pokemon not going to be at least open world, it's probably be something I'll pass ( just like Pokemon GO, not interested )

Re: Review: Battle Chasers: Nightwar (Switch)

UnknownReader

@redd214 They didn't bend over for me during Persona 5 LE release. And a few other games I end up cancelled ( not P5LE cos it was sold out everywhere back then ) from them playing the Delivery date pending. We'll email you as soon as we have a delivery date card after I place my order.

They just say what @Dang69 mentioned.
