Re: Video: The Inevitable Nintendo Switch E3 2018 Predictions Video

UnknownReader

I just hope E3 as a whole will find some higher energy people as translator and commentary.

Every year, they make me more sleepy instead of excited.

As for prediction/ speculation for Nintendo, ermm.... my guess
Half of the E3 will talk about Smash (yet again) and NSO
the rest would be share among
Pokemon
Animal Crossing
More about Luigi Mansion
( very little about 3ds game )
Indies
and what not.

Re: Nintendo Switch Online Finally Revealed: Cloud Saves, NES Games And Pricing Confirmed

UnknownReader

I don't drink over priced coffee.
I don't care for candies ( aka chocolate )
Losing my 100 + hrs games won't affect me.
PS I can use hard drive or USB stick to backup and save game and I don't even use them.
I don't care for classic retro game.
Don't play multiplayers ( my kid only play Splatoon once in a blue moon with strangers or some of my friends ) she can go without it.
$20 is not expensive to me.
And no amount of insult that ( "you" are poor ) or ( if "you" can't afford $20 for yearly sub = $1.67 monthly, I better off save it ) will get me to jump off the bridge with the rest.

I'll just wait and see what else Nintendo can offer to convince me to drop that $20 yearly.

Re: Details Regarding Nintendo Switch Online Services Will Be Shared In May

@NEStalgia Yeah, the discount for LE and new release + used game on GCU is enticing. But their ordering system is not : P

Why can't they do plans and pricing choice?
Like:
$20 Bundle package
'X' amount for individual pick

hypothetically:
I don't mind say.... paying for $5 ( out of the $20 bundle ) for cloud saving ( if I am no longer able to save my game on the system ) And maybe another $5 for language translation ( so we don't need to wait for localization )? Basically, I save $10 for what I don't need/want.

Re: Details Regarding Nintendo Switch Online Services Will Be Shared In May

@NEStalgia In your case it's the heavy discount on digital game which justify you subscribing.

I am not a digital fan ( maybe music cos I can opt out buying the whole Album and just pick those I like (justify reason for me)). I may buy some digital game if the price range is max less than $20. But I support Physical, so Prime 20% off (preorder games) + 2 days shipping (for everything they sell on Amazon) and GCU 20% off new release games (don't have it yet, still thinking if I want to join) ( justify paying ).

I know it's hard to make everyone happy. That is why Option is preferable choice. Like some who travels a lot, would prefer cloud save for convenient. I don't travel, so I like my stuff save on a hard drive. ( I still save photos and files on CDR )

"Minority Opinion Matters" Don't just listen to majority opinion.

I don't like to be force feed. I don't use iCloud ( don't even use those free gb storage I get from my computer/ tablet/phone). Give an option that we can save on external hard drive.

I don't care for VC or free games that I don't get to keep if I unsubscribe. Don't need Netflix/ FB/ Browser/ and whatever others want cramping on 1 device.

Play online? I put on airplane mode all the time unless for update or check eshop. Already payed for internet don't see a reason to pay extra just so I can "play with strangers and/or others". I don't have PS+ ( never care to subscribe even when there was a sale for half the price during Christmas/ Year End sale, don't have xbox 1 so no xbox live sub.

If you support paying, good for you! Things I pay for need to be justify.

Not whining. And not willing to follow trend/ or the herd.

Re: Nintendo Says It's Not Trying To Innovate, It's "Trying To Find Ways To Make People Happy"

UnknownReader

Make me happy is simple, folder and able to customize screen. I don't need those Netflix, browser and whatnot. Others want it, go for it, just have option ( which they do ) for those who don't want it, to skip download..... ( bloatware on android "cough cough")

And since they are so innovative, maybe find a way to language translate on games in the system without gamers/fans wait for localization ( unless Voice Over for those who have Dyslexia condition. But if the game is Sub only, a way to make game translate on the system itself would be useful. ) (Wishful Thinking)

Re: Nintendo Download: 19th April (North America)

UnknownReader

Me too @Agramonte, already played South Park: TFbW. But I personally prefer The Stick of Truth more.
Better deal on Amazon physical (PS4) right now than PSN. $60 just so one can play on a go, idk, is it worth it thou? ( sorry for being a party pooper )

Re: Nintendo Download: 19th April (North America)

As much as I am interested in Death Road to Canada and BAFL, I am holding off. I still have not finish Nino Kuni 2, have not start Yakuza 6 yet, and I am hook on Don't Starve.
So maybe when BigN having sales or price drop on those 2, I might get them.

Did anyone else experience this?

My reply: I actually enjoy playing Don't Starve. First time playing, slowly finding my way around not to die too soon, lol! Usually I die by the 6th day, but today, I manage to reach day 12 or 13? Now being chase by hound, lol! idk, mine appear normal like the tree/flower/spider....

Re: Nintendo Download: 12th April (North America)

UnknownReader

I am not a fan of digital. But I cannot resist Don't Starve.
I want to play Regalia: Of Men and Monarchs, but can't justify paying $25 for digital, probably wait for sale.
Got Shelter Generations for my 10 yr old since there is a 10% off first week download.
This week game + Kdrama will keep me busy till Yakuza 6 release.

Re: GameStop CEO Says Unannounced Titles Will Help Switch To "Very, Very Strong" 2018

UnknownReader

Well, he is a CEO of a "video game retailer", I am sure he has a list of what is coming, probably not allow to leak the informations till they get the "OK" sign?
E3 we might (hopefully) see announcement of Pokemon (end 2018), Shin Megami Tensei V (2019), Animal Crossing (2019), Snack World Gold coming to the West ( 2019 ). Hopefully Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE (wiiU port).... idk, so many games I hope will come to Switch but so little time to play them, lol!
