@Kalmaro ikr. Isn't this site post tons of stuff about this game too (spoiler). There one about tips and trick, best island and what not.
And yet the person is here every day reading it.

@Heavyarms55 can one even use a save file editor for this ( or any other game ) on Switch? Never heard of or know about it, lol! What I saw for this game are fake generate code for bells, like most ( games currency ) for PC game.

iirc, he said that for NL in the past too. So it's not something new.
Edit: don't like it, take the option out of the game. Make it like mmo with Microtransaction.

Charging $60 $259 ( that is if one get the lite instead of the standard) to play. And want to control how people play.

in my opinion, the only way they might "ruin" their game ( as in get bored and stop playing ) is when they do everything @ the same time ( too much on the plate ) either gave up cos they put too much in and then need to rearrange for space and what not but too much to change, or that they feel they are doing the same thing over and over again ( like catching the same fishes when they want new kind or have to painfully craft items 1 @ a time and they got bored. idk, in real life unless I have a industrial machine, I too have to craft 1 thing at a time. )

Different people play differently. Some
1. do it to make their island nice ( the way they want it to be )
2. collect all the insects/fishes/fossil
3. play with flowers and make them hybrid flowers.
In anyway, it will not trigger future event and spoil it for those who don't like spoiler. Future event start ( same date ) for everyone with updates.

I don't care what other do nor care what others think.

As for "those who TT can affect others." How so? Did they use a gun and point at you to look at their social media photo/video? (You have fingers and a keyboard , you can click block or delete/un-follow them. That hard to do?) Did they force you to sell your turnip or buy items from their cranny store? How do they affect you?

hmmm.. I am guessing it might have something to do with patching the "Unauthorised Login Reports" that was posted like yesterday?

Great!! I have a huge empty land that I don't know what to fill it with now.

It's like amiibo all over again. I remember I have sleepless night and traveled to store and Q up for hours before store open for the amiibo, just so I get those I want to collect before scalper got them all. ( listening to angry people who came just when the store open and hope their whining will score them some from others who actually Q up in the cold for hours )

Same when Switch first release. I have to stalk site like "now in stock" to know which store has in stock. I paid extra for one on Amazon Prime Now ( the little extra is the tip for the driver to deliver to my house ) So now even if the newer/better one comes out, I will not trade my 1st release Switch for it.

@satanicangel also, what is next are we going to talk about people who use Motag to get a specific villager(s) cos it's hard to find amiibo card now and it cost X amount to just get 1 instead of "blind stack" of 6?
I don't use those cos I have some amiibo card and I can always wait for them to tell me they want to leave and then go to mystery island a few time to scout for one I don't mind staying on my island.

@satanicangel the intend way of playing is to wait for them to sell the seed or go to mystery island hope different flowers spawn that are not part of the regular seeds they sell. So isn't it "unfair" to those who do not have NSO and can't travel to friends /strangers island to buy those seeds or trade turnip for profit?
Edit: TT is part of the game, it's up to player if they want to use it or not. We all know how strict Nintendo is, if they don't allow it, it will not be there.

I don't care how people play their game, cos I did not buy them the game or the system.
I would be annoyed if it's online PVP, that is why I will not play online multiplayer game

@satanicangel well then those who go to other people island to sell turnip and buy flower seeds are cheater too then, yes? The store generate different seed beside your native ever so often ( thou not as often as one wish ) Why not wait and check the cranny store everyday and hope that they change new seeds. And why not wait for your own island turnip stock price rise to the intended price one willing to sell instead of stalking other people island stock price to gain bells? If TT is cheating these are too, imo.

I don't understand why people take this so seriously, treating it like real life money. I don't deal or DM to those who ask for things in return. I prefer to give willingly. If I have double of items I give to those on my friend list or sell. I can understand asking for Materials to help make stuff, time? hack, not like "you" making dozen of the same items like fish bait. Only at most some ask for 2 or 3. If more, sure ask a little token for the trouble.

Letting stranger to island and afraid of "your" bells tree? put fence around it.

Avoid playing with stranger or be very careful of playing online, that is all I often say to my lil girl.

@BenAV No that is why I say, if they dump and retrieve acting as a storage would have been great.. like what this post said.... "The idea adds to the realism of the island experience" My irl garbage bin store my garbage for a week and my recycle bin store for as long as it's not full, lol!

@BenAV I too like that you can only share duplicates and also enjoying slowly collecting those recipes. I get excited when I see my villagers pounding on their workstation, lol!
I think those blue plastic or metal rubbish bin can act as a storage to store recipes and visitors can look through it and take from there. We can put one near the port or the cranny store.

@dakuww You don't need those if your store sell gift card. I got mine ( finally ) using store bought NSO gift card. And I check off the Auto-Renewal once I sign up.
( edit: oh wait, not sure free trail you need those payment info to sign up thou.... )

After the first few days gotten all the Bunny DIY, I still collect those eggs ( save on fruits ), they help move trees when the task require for nook point and break rocks ( when it spawn at the wrong place )

@shonenjump86 You should run around hunt for tiny shadow. I get min 3 - 5 each round. If it's 300 point max I only have 100 more to go and I will stop fishing. Never get sick of fishing in AC till now, lol!

$59.99 USD? I don't think I'll even pay $29.99 when they have it back in Target. If it ever come back out, the most I am willing is $14.99.

I prefer wallet fund. Only add the amount of how much and when I need it. I do that on PS, Googleplay, Steam too.
(edit) Even their NSO I bought the card from store and "check off" auto-renewal. If I want to renew, I'll get the card to key the code again.

I secretly wish they reopen the Streetpass again. Man, I miss it so much!
I gave up hoping for folder and themes. Wish they give us the freedom to be able to put our own wallpaper like PSvita ( knowing this will never happen, one can only wish )

@JayJ The random visitor can request stuff being made, we earn DIY ( if we don't already have them and small token bells for items made ) Hey, I'll do anything for DIY and some bells ( minus turnips stock ), lol!

Wish they ( the developer ) put out a post and ask if anyone have any wish/suggestion to be on AC.
I would wish for: -
1. Increase villager ( maybe up to 15 ) We don't really need the whole 15 but the extra 5 more villager would be nice.
2. If we can buy fence recipe, it would be great that we can also buy gate recipe too. ( some fence I add, would look nice to have a gate attach to it )
3. there should have random visitor to the campsite even after the island is full.

I am not too into the turnip "stock" at the moment ( wasn't into it on NL either )

@rjejr For me partly is to get DIY from them. They tend to give repeat DIY. So switching them, I get newer DIY beside from bottle and balloon. And partly cos I want cute villagers.
If they leave on their own, I get to see new one on mystery island when I travel there, so it nice.

yes they do. but you have to invite them 3 time and fulfill their "wish" ( they will ask you to make them something ) and then you can ask them to stay. They will go talk to Nook and come back telling you it's full, then they wonder if they can swap place that is when the option pops up for you to pick which you want to swap.

@Heavyarms55 I tried hitting them and complaining, both didn't work. End up follow SonicMos advice and invite them thru amiibo card 3 time and get the option of who to swap.

Beside AC, I just bought Sparklite for $12+ (on sale for $14.99 + some of my gold token. Cheaper than getting physical ( always my 1st choice) Been wanting to play this on PC (steam), but miss sales a few time and now I hesitate due to not comfortable giving my full info while using wallet fund )

I also think Tortimer Island will come later on cos of the dock on the island.

US Walmart has it for $39.99. I was looking forward to it, but completely forgotten it was out on the 31st. Then read that it's not very good ( reddit and some other site/forum ) So I either hold off for now or if it ever release again in target for their $29.99 price range or less, I might get it.

@muscpt can you not [click] select those you want to sell on your inventory? I only notice if you buying stuff you have to do individually.

I don't hear the balloon whooshing, but I hear KK Marine Song when I am not playing. I like that song in ACNL, and now it's playing in my island house and on the cliff where I have the outdoor bath.

I don't mind a week. I will be super happy if they leave if I ignore them for a week or complain to Isabelle for the whole week and she evict them.

I think 12 days is a little too long for an event. Now when I see the balloon ( I think the plain colored one may be a normal gift or DIY recipe ), or fish shadow the size of C+ fish, I'm thinking, another egg?

Yeah, to make it nice. a lot of work and patience. Can't rotate camera and if you are to close, you'll end up filling the water or hill instead of digging/clearing. ( they should give an option to buy the camera angle from nook stop )

I was trying to clear away the hill in the middle of the land and making the stream nice, end up only clear the hill. Maybe when Im in the mood, might try again next time, lol!

There is a dock. It might be for going to a special island. Maybe Tortimer will come back and open his island for player to go play mini game like NL?

@kepsux For ACNL ( can be use on New3ds and Switch. ) I don't recalled what u get for ACNL and Happy Home Designer. But for ACNH, either get the character to visit and possible get them to move in and photo booth (Harvey's Island Photopia ) you can get them to take picture together.

I just went to target and groceries store ( that also sell collection card and what not ) Can't find any AC amiibo card. I have some, but not those character I want, lol!

Don't get why some people need to tell others how they should play their game ( if they prefer solo and spend their own money to get additional system, why you care? ). Likewise, why some people need to tell Developer how they should make their game.

I play solo and also have a character on my kid's island. She get to either play with me on her island ( if we dock ) or if she feel like it, travel to mine.

The only 1 thing I moan about is the NSO. Have to once again hunt for my friend on app again ( the system, we can link for friend suggestion that were on our 3ds and mobile and SM. But their sub there is no such option ). I have some friends from mobile add, some were when Switch releases. So don't know how to communicate with them so we can add BF ( on ACNH ) to play together on NSO app.

I only decide to get a Lite about less than a month before AC release. If I see it less than the retail price. ( Already plan when Lite announced that I will only get it if it's less than.)
So now we have 2.

Still no Stringfish for me. But I finally caught Sturgeon ( at the end of the river near the ocean by the rock around midnight, slow moving big shadow. If any one want to try their luck. ). and also caught Golden Trout twice.

@Finntendo my apple was gifted by my "mom" letter. Pear and peaches my little girl gave me. Her game seems normal, she has bamboo, tulips, all the different fruits and Tarantulas, lol! So I get her to send me together with more bells ( since she collect more and play more ) We both have not encounter the Tarantulas island yet.

And now we have the NSO ( the app is so bare bone. was hoping friendlist is already in the app when you link it ) so in order to get friend from the switchlist, I have to send them msg on fb/ twitter to invite them to my island and then add them as BF so we can communicate on the NSO app.

Now I am wondering about QR, can one scan without online sub when able sis open their shop on the island? Cos not many people sub their online. I was reading on their app review on googleplay last night when I download the app.

I keep getting the same "island" every time after the first 2 visit. Only the first 2 are different after that......Same tree in same spot, same flower/bugs/fishes and same layout. fruits alternate between orange and cherry ( cherry is my island fruit )
Tarantulas is rare for me, only twice.

I am looking for Southern hemisphere. I am Northern. Just bought the online sub ( I refuse to sign up. But got it just for this game planning only for 1 yr sub cos their sub offer me nothing since I don't play multiplayer online. )

@Kilamanjaro have you try "paring/update/calibrate" them or check the joycon if it's batt low first before trading in for a new set.

@Crono1973 DS/3DS, buy a $40 copy of the game for a new town. Have as many as you want. You could have 6 or 9 extra towns for the price of 1 extra town on the Switch (depending on which Switch model you buy).
(3DS) $40 copy + $15 -$25 for Powersaves and get as many extra town as one like.
