Re: Nintendo Releases Statement About Switch Joy-Con Drift Issue

TrumpsHand

I am lucky to have 4 pairs of them and only one got the dreaded drift, fixed it with electronic contact cleaner and had zero issues since then. My advice to anyone who has this problem is to apply few sprays of electro contact cleaner on the sticks themselves and the sticks will be back like new! Thank me later!

Re: Review: Outlast 2 (Switch eShop)

@Rika_Yoshitake Sony (like their fans) are always passive aggressive toward Nintendo X)
The game is also available dirt cheap on PC, so PS4 version is not even needed. Switch has poratbility factor!

Re: Review: Bayonetta 2 (Switch)

TrumpsHand

Switch literally got 2 of the best games of all time in the span of 7 months, one of the best jrpgs ever, a sequel to the most fresh and innovative new tps IP of last gen, the strategy rpg of the year in M+R and a fresh innovative fighter and new IP (ARMS) in addition to an exclusive FE Warriors game, plus some of the best indie games to date and the future looks brighter than ever. If you meant yearly casual dudebro games like Madden and cod, you can play them on an xbox or pc or something. Not every game should be on Switch and vice versa. @therealgamer

Re: Review: Plague Road (Switch eShop)

TrumpsHand

@therealgamer It isn't like owning a Nintendo Switch would prevent you from having a PC to play these games, btw most of those games you listed are mediocre filler and microtransaction galores.

BotW, Odyssey, Splatoon 2, Xenoblade C 2, Pokemon, Prime 4, FE, etc are at least 100 times better than the expensive shovelware you listed.

Re: Poll: Are You Excited About Nintendo's E3 2017 Plans?

TrumpsHand

Two words: MARIO ODYSSEY!
Excited for Splatoon 2 and ARMS invitational! Hopefully Treehouse will keep us watching the entire 3 days!
I like that Nintendo will focus on games releasing this year and showing gameplay instead of games not coming until 2019 or maybe even 2020, like what Sony does, lol
We might see a surprise or two

Re: Hands On: Hey! Read These Hey! Pikmin Impressions

TrumpsHand

Looks fun, I think I'll give it a go, it will ease the wait for Pikmin 4 on Switch! Nice to see spinoffs out of mainline franchises, it helps keeping things fresh and bring new dameplay elements different from the tried and true! Yay for creative freedom!

Re: Nintendo Switch Sales Remain Strong in Japan

@gatorboi352
Nice stealth troll there mate, Japan is much more important than casual cod/fifa European markets including, lmao, UK!
Nintendo is firing on all cylinders, MK8 Deluxe is next week and is hailed as the biggest and best Mario Kart ever, chu chu train ain't stopping any time soon despite the moaning of ponies and trolls.

Re: Don't Buy Another Switch Dock Just Yet

@XCWarrior believe what you want, I owned all Nintendo home consoles and handhelds except for VB and 2DS, had ZERO problems with any of Wii, Wii U, DS or 3DS,, only had to replace the disc reader on GCN, that's the only hardware problem I ever had with any Nintendo system. In the time of the Internetz and fake sensationalist headlines, every outlet looks for clicks and how to be first out of the gate with BS. I have no issues whatsoever with my Switch, the OS is the snappiest OS of any of my current gen systems and I am close to 200 hours in BOTW and 30 hours in BoI, hardware issues will happen but I believe it is still a very low percentage relative to the large number of Switches sold since launch. You wanna ride the BS internet bandwagon, be my guest, everywhere you'll go you'll be surrounded by fake news and clickbait.

Re: Don't Buy Another Switch Dock Just Yet

@XCWarrior Sensationalizing non-issues again, are we?! bringing Iwata into this too, smdh. I guess fanboys gonna fanboy, bandwagoners gonna bandwagon, and frauds who didn't have access to a system will bash it out of jealousy, lmao. Switch is the highest quality item I ever received from Nintendo, no issues whatsoever, I am actually pretty impressed by the design and luxury tier finish of the device itself as well as its accessories and controllers.

Re: Kimishima Outlines Nintendo's Continued Attention on VR and Portable System Ideas

TrumpsHand

Great to hear more from Kimishima himself, I think the Switch's design is amazing in its modularity, since joycons and dock can be detached, a newer stronger tablet core can be sold separately in 2-3 years or so making it a next gen Switch with a much lower cost for the consumer (you already have the dock/joycons), VR head mount can be added easily down the road since the console is already there. Or in reverse the dock can be replaced with an SCD for a sizable upgrade in power. I think Switch is the Swiss army knife of consoles and it's wonderfully designed to include past Nintendo ideas and innovations as well as newer ones like HD rumble, modularity, VR and portability!
