Re: Eternal Darkness Trademark Renewal Increases Hope of Franchise Return

Would love a sequel to Eternal Darkness. That was such a unique experience.

Would love to see improvements to the sanity meter, so you don't have to adjust your sanity level by performing those killing blows to enemies. It sort of broke the level of immersion a little that you'd sometimes intentionally pass killing blows on dead bodies in order to get to experience some cool sanity effects.

Also, a sequel developed by Nintendo (Retro Secret Project?) would really put the nail in the coffin for Shadows of the Eternal, which would probably be good for everyone to just move on from.

Re: Talking Point: What's Next For amiibo?

I'm surprised there's no mention of a Pokemon game in the article. Rumble U doesn't count.

But really they should do a pokemon game or trading card game to work with NFC. The possibilities are pretty much endless.

A stadium game, or full fledged adventure where you unlock pokemon by scanning a figure. You'd still be able to find pokemon in your game, but if you have some you absolutely can't find, you can buy the figure and scan.

Re: Video: How Does Watch Dogs Wii U Compare To The Xbox 360 And PS4 Versions?

Tritonus

Graphically, it looks the same as the X360 version, though the framerate drop on the Wii U is pretty noticeable here during the driving sequence.

The PS4 version obviously has a higher FPS and more antialias, fog, and dynamic lighting, but it really looks waaay overexposed for me. They completely lose the dark mood.

Have yet to play it so I know nothing of the gameplay. Maybe I'll pick it up if it goes on sale some time.

Ubi, I liked Loved ZombiU and Splinter Cell and liked Rayman Legends, AC 2 and 3. But AC4 Was not my flavor, or maybe I just lost interest in playing the SAME damn game over and over... I hear Unity is more of the same, but ridden with bugs. Time for a little reinvention Ubi.

Re: Super Smash Bros. for Wii U Pre-Purchase and Pre-Load Now Available on the eShop

@rushiosan I currently have 9 gigs of free storage in my internal HDD, and I have plenty of games on my external HDD which greatly supasses that number, like assassins creed, splinter cell, and bayonetta, without any problems. I'm not sure what you are asking, but no, you don't need 16 gigs free on your internal HDD to play a game from your external HDD which takes up 16 gigs, temporarily transferring it... It loads straight from the HDD, with no lag issues, and in fact it slightly faster than reading from a disc, as far as I know.

I currently have 175 gigs on my external HDD. No problems what so ever.

Damn I love that Nintendo is fully embracing digital. So much better.

Plus plastic (physical) is bad for the environment.

@rushiosan putting 8 and 32 gigs in the wii u enables Nintendo to bring the price tag down, and if you never buy anything digitally, then you save that money. Having the option to simply plug in an external HDD is so awesome IMH. This way, I can completely customize the amount of storage I want, and how much money I want to spend on storage.
