What exactly would one use the c-stick for in Smash? I need to know what I'm gonna miss out on here.

How does this work with digital??

@vattodev Pikmin 3 is my favorite game on Wii U so far. It's so annoying they leave it out but I guess it's not a system seller.

I jUST bought a 3DS XL this summer in anticipation of Super Smash Bros. I went digital download as it was simply the most convenient for me, and the most environmentally friendly... now if only they had an ACCOUNT SYSTEM in place and no games tied to hardware, so I could upgrade my 3DS without losing all my games, I might consider buying this.

I bought a 3DS for Smash. I've had it now for a few weeks. The fact that one person (me) bought a 3DS for Smash has already made it a system seller.

However, I did buy a bunch of amazing games for it which is keeping me MORE than busy during the wait.

Fire Emblem is a lock, Sonic for Wii U is a maybe.

If they don't go multiplatform with this, and by multiplatform I mean Wii U and 3DS as well, then I really don't like this too much.

I want to play this, but I don't have an iPad, but I do have both of Nintendo's consoles.

I'll be getting the 3DS version, and depending on that experience, I might give the Wii U version a shot. Hope it has some cross-platform features.

It's really no big deal to buy a bigger sd card. I got a 16gb one for $20

I bought a 3DS for this a few weeks ago. On the upside I've gotten to play other great games on the 3DS while waiting for it this summer.

Definitely none of these. While Wind Waker HD was a great idea, I think Nintendo should spend resources on fresh games. None of these games would be able to pull off what they did with WWHD. It's in the art style.

Please also release this on Wii U and 3DS, AND make it crossbuy. After having bought a 3DS I'm really feeling the cross-buy dilemma.

I don't even have an ipad, and I want to play this, but I have both Nintendo's consoles. Oh the irony.

They skipped Pikmin 3 and Wonderful 101! wtf! Someone should make a fan edit and add those games.

I had it for 64 but never finished it as I got stuck in the questing. My english probably wasn't good enough at the time to pick up the hints from the dialogue.

Finished OOT without any problems though.

I dunno why, but I just can't really get exited for this game. Maybe I'll wait for the reviews to see if I'm gonna get this or not.

Edit: Just finished A Link Between Worlds last night and I LOVED it. I'm a massive Zelda fan, but this game kinda falls flat for me.

I think these games look really promising. If the reviews are good I'll definitely get these.

To all the people whining: Just be thankful that you actually have Club Nintendo AT ALL in your country. Here in Scandinavia, we get nothing. Ever.

@GuSolarFlare Okay, so no way to retrieve my original Pokemon, so sad They will be forever locked away in their pokeballs. I really did grow quite attached to them! It must have been 15 years now. Good times.

@JaxonH Can anyone explain to me what the point of Monsterhunter is? I tried the demo on Wii U and was left cold.

Also, I'm not someone who has 600 hours of time to invest in one game... Should I even bother trying then?

For someone who hasn't played Pokemon since the original gameboy game, (pokémon yellow) and a brand new owner of a 3ds, would you recommend me buying x/y or hold out for OmegaRuby/Alpha Sapphire to get back into the series? Is there any story-line continuity? Would it make sense to build up your pokédex in one game first, rather then the other?

Also, is there any way to get your pokemon from an old gameboy cartridge onto your 3ds (I had all 151, mewtwo and all...)?

@Psyclone I've always been a PC + Nintendo guy. Somehow it seems you get the best of both worlds that way. Most PS3/XBOX games make it to PC anyways, and my PC can do faaaaar better than a PS4 on the graphics side.

That being said, I have a real post-graduate job now making actual money, so maybe my one-console days are over.

I am a Nintendo fan forever at heart though. Loving my Wii U and newly bought 3ds to bits.

The thing that worries me the most is how crummy the game is still looking.

I hate to say it, because Mega Man is one of my favorite franchises ever, but this just doesn't look good enough, and I'm not sure any additional $ will ever help that.

@ferthepoet This. Games you buy on the eShop should really be tied to your account, and not the console. That is the first step in the right direction as far as I'm concerned.

As a gamer, I would always buy a dedicated handheld for my kids. Tablets are just not the same. The gaming experience on a tablet/phone is really shallow.

However, tablets are good for the smaller kids who can't handle challenging gameplay, and they also do come in handy for video playback.

Also, 2 games for the price of one, can't beat that.

Personally, I'm way more exited for Beyonetta 1+2 than for Hyrule Warriors.

I'm a huge Zelda fan, but I've never played any dynasty warriors games or even Beyonetta 1, but juding by what I've seen I simply think Beyonetta looks more fun. Something looks a little off in Hyrule Warriors to me.

Not a fan of physical media. However, if that's the way it's gotta be, then bring on the disc version.

Why they would add another physical version without Beyonetta 1 is really confusing though if it's all the same price.

I really think the trailers they showed for Sonic Boom at E3 look really promising. Especially the fact that one will be 3D adventure, while the 3DS will be 2.5D platforming, and the games will feed into each other. I might just pick them both up, as I'm getting a 3DS for Smash.

Beyonetta is looking so good.

Devil's Third is growing on me too, gameplay looks really fun.

@Starwolf_UK You know that was just a one time thing with the , the Wii U just needed to set up the quick start menu once, after that it works flawlessly. Give it another chance.

Those would be my top priorities. I wouldn't mind seeing a return of Everybody votes channel, the mii contest channel, news and weather channel.

Though I'm probably looking forward to LoZ more, I voted Beyonetta 1 as I did NOT see that one coming. We all knew LoZ was coming so the reveal wasn't as surprising to me as Beyonetta 1 being included for free in Beyonatta 2 purchase.

@Kaine_Morrison Yes you can transfer data back and forth from the WiiU internal memory to hard drives, even between hard drives.

They should do Smash Invitational every year, and maybe extend it to Mario Kart 8 tournaments, Splatoon tournaments, Pikmin 3 Bingo Battle tourneys

Off-tv play is so underrated!

Lately I've been playing more on the gamepad than on the tv, it's so freaking great. My family can watch tv, and I can even bring the wii u to places where the tv isn't needed... Currently my Wii u is borderline portable, as I have it in my backpack when I go from my apartment to my parents' place.

Masahiro Sakurai seems like such an awesome guy. Cool, calm, friendly, sarcastic, serious and funny all at once.

@burninmylight I usually go for digital just because I find it more convenient not to have a bunch of physical discs lying around - also makes your Wii U that much more portable! But, if there's a good deal on a physical game I'm not gonna hold back. Plus, physical discs you can lend to your family and friends.

Both formats have their advantages, but for me personally, digital wins out.

It's also a matter of the fact that Nintendo is not doing so well in Denmark where I currently reside, and I've gotten sick of going to a store only to find out that they don't have the games because I happen to live in PlayStation land. The eShop doesn't have that problem.

I think Sonic Boom, both the Wii U version and 3DS version, looks really good. I'm not the biggest sonic fan, but with the 3DS version feeding into the Wii U version and with the way that they both look, I might just pick up both.

That, and Sonic Lost World is on sale now so will finally try that one out.

Hmm.. I've almost gone exclusively digital, except if I get a good offer - I hope they will offer Beyonetta 1 on the eShop still... Anyways, will just go for the physical disc if not.

Sonic and Wind Waker for me! Thank god I picked W101 as my free game from Mario Kart, was going back and forth between those three games.
