The last few AA games have actually put me off both Nintendo and the Switch

I have eben obsessed with Mario and Nintendo for a very long time...but Mario Golf was not very good, Switch Sports is boring (in my opinion) and Mario Strikers is one of the most dull/confusing/empty games I have ever played (It makes WiiU Mario Tennis Ultra Smash look generous in comparison!) Updates don't cut it with me anymore..I have no patience or enough time to wait around until they decide to grant us the pleasure of completing a game. Kirby and Forgotten Land was a true gem but the only great game lately that springs to mind really.

Taken MUCH too long...most other players I know that bought it, traded it in or sold it by now. If they had dangled the carrot from day 1 with a clear date for the other items that would have been better.
Same with MK8D...no worries if you can't give the wave 2 right now...but at least please tell us when to expect it....

Ahhhh I have dreamed of this (AND A TALKING TOAD PLEASE!) since I bought my beloved (and now favourite Mario figure) the let's a go mario

I don't like the way they are doing it though...I would like to know in advance which course are coming and look forward to that date I don't just want a ''here it is''

Also-what on EARTH is happening with Mario Strikers?? No announcements for updates for that one...many people have sold their copies out of frustration

For me (a huge Nintendo fan) Nintendo have REALLY fallen off a cliff this past few months...nothing to look forward to, no fun things or updates..We don't even know WHAT the next MK8D tracks will be, or when the Mario Strikers update will be for characters (as it is not worth even £10 in current state IMHO..played it twice and was too bored)
Sorry for the rant...Just need a Direct or something to give me a reason to love them again!

They are so beautiful and will surely become collectors items. I love amiibo, even just as little ornamental figures.

It is just a wonderful game. It warms my heart every single time I replay it

I hope we get Mario Party DLC. The next wave of MK8D will probably release straight after the direct plus news about Daisy in Strikers.

I find it VERY difficult and is one of those games where a printed manual (remember those?!) would be beneficial to have open next to me whilst playing so I can remember the complex controls

Mario Tennis Aces is brilliant but Mario Golf Rush was disapointing to me...looking forward to trying this one out even thought he controls were too diffcult for me in the demo (and I didn't like the violence!)

These are so cute!! I'd love the underwater one...such a shame only in Japan

I don't like football games...but I absolutely LOVE Mario Tennis Aces!! The play of that is so tactical and tight....I have been addicted, so I hope this one will grab me as much.
Like others have said, I hope we will see more characters to unlock (I don't like the lazy alt colour Waluigi's etc) should be a brilliant fun game this!

Playing Mario Kart Tour makes MK8D seem lifeless now haha...I'm looking for the emergency 'item' button, or looking who sent the item to me etc. It has a lot of QOL aspects that would be great in the main MK game!
ps I still ADORE MK8D obv!!!

I bloody LOVE Mario Party! Both the Switch Mario Party's released have been brilliant in their own ways. Super Mario Party has way more charm and an amazing character roster, the single player campaign and new minigames are awesome too (it went from a 7 out of 10 to a 10 out of 10 when they patched in online play)...But Mario Party Superstars has such nostalgia and the online is perfect in every way.

@StephenYap3 As a HUGE Toad fan (obviously) and also a secret WArio fan...I really want to love 'Warios Woods' but I just cannot get the hang of it at all! I don't understand it at all...played it many times but always give up after 5 minutes as the controls are too fiddly for me.

@Clyde_Radcliffe It definitely isn't Nintendo's fault, buddy. They had no control or power in it..I suspect internally they too will feel as we do. Japan is a good liberal country, and will also look in shame at their gay rights record. Best to not think about it

Not good at all....Nintendo shouldn't have allowed this. Horrible human rights record...awful punishments for being gay etc.

These type of games are always too complicated for me to control but I have preordered this and look forward to trying it out as the other Mario games on Switch are such good quality. Mario Tennis Aces is one of my all time favourite games!

Aaaw poor Kirby deserves much better! Buy it guys...and while you are at it, please but CAPTAIN TOAD TREASURE TRACKER too

Adore my 3DS!!! Always will. Streetpass was so precious to me and led to real life friendship. Still play 3Ds games sometimes.

Truly brilliant game...highly reccomend this one! So much fun...couldn't stop smiling whilst playing (except for the really tricky boss fights haha)

I REALLY hope Captain Toad has sold well on Switch...it really deserves to but feels like it has been overlooked by Switch players.

PS I never understand all the bad comments about Mario Tennis Aces?! I LOVE that one...truly brilliant game. Mario golf was a bit iffy, but still worth the money and has a lot of replay value...but Tennis is amazing!!

Looks great. I personally absolutely LOVE Mario Tennis Aces though and still play it very regularly (bought it day 1) it has so much depth and tactics!! It really is awesome

I once bumped into Toad when he was on his way to ASDA for some pasta hahaha

I love Kirby..and I am so proud that Forgotten Land is one of my all time favourites! New ideas but enough nostalgia to keep older fans happy (like Mario games in that regard)
Elfifin is such a loveable new character too, I hope he will stay in the series now.

I will buy it because I love the Splatoon worlds and Inklings, even though I am really bad at it online! I would LOVE to see some co-op 2 player so I can play at home without getting bashed up online

I bought it on day 1, as I adore Splatoon characters!

Captain Toad DLC is also absolutely brilliant, please don't forget that. Also the VR levels are brilliant!
