Jakks Pacific has a running history making Super Mario toys and merchandise, and today in the US it officially unveiled a brand new 'Let's Go, Yoshi' interactive figure. This new toy will be arriving in store and online in North America and Europe this October.
The figure stands 12 inches tall (about 30cm) and has "several triggers" - including 13 points of articulation, for tons of posing options. It offers fun for kids and collectors ages 3 and up, and also includes 20+ iconic sounds and music.
If you pat Yoshi's nose, you'll hear adorable sounds, if you push down on Yoshi's head, you'll hear a cool chomping action and sound. Other activation trigger points include Yoshi's shell and feet, and Yoshi's top spike will also "instantly activate" recognisable music. There are some motion-activated sounds when lifting or laying down Yoshi, too.
Here's what the Jakks Pacific Senior VP of marketing had to say about the reveal:
“JAKKS Pacific is thrilled to finally reveal our newest addition to the Super Mario line, Let’s Go, Yoshi!. For fans of all ages, this has been a request for many years and our team is happy to bring this exciting Yoshi to retail for this holiday season.”

That’s good and and, but the real question, can I use him to get an extra jump? Asking for a friend.
hell yes I'm getting it
@Snatcher Tell your friend they can, but only very carefully. You may also want to tell them that Jakks will definitely take their money for the replacement purchase.

Real Yoshi's have music??? That must be why they taste so good!

@Yosher
This is gonna make a few users’ day.
There are such a great company. My son loves their toys but their Sonic toys used to break really easily. I contacted their customer service and they sent my son replacements.
i normally dont care about this stuff, but that is cool! the posability makes it.
@Snatcher how could you. ☹️
@Tom-Smo Thanks! I love him. Definitely gonna get this sometime when it becomes available!
@demacho Your right, I must atone by buying every jakk Mario toy.
@Xiovanni I don't even know who this Brandon is. Just as long as it's not a political joke. In which case, keep your Political views out of this!So America's Political system is not perfect? It,'s not like we need a Prime Minister running an American Parliament, because we do NOT want a Dictator just because we're too stupid to think for ourselves!
I find articulated figures are great for toying with, but the joints tend to spoil the aesthetics a bit. It would be great if they could put a skin over one of these.
@Snatcher it's not much but a respectable start to your path toward absolution 🙏
@NinjaNicky then YOU, my friend, are SUPER COOL ❤️
@NinjaNicky me too, my friend hugs
