@RudyC3 I'm a victim of the EU import canendrum myself too, and yes : 80$ for a game is really expensive. I personally don't understand why bother to import a game you can get digitally for less that half that price (at least on sale).

I get your regret that it didn't get a full release back in the day, but I think you realise that :

> pushing back the PS / Xbox / PC release to wait for the Switch version was not possible
> releasing the game physically simultaneously as digitally on Switch would have been done if possible
> having a full blast physical release on Switch today would be plain suicide.

@ShadJV @nintendobynature Didn't Specter of Torment pop up on Switch before any other system ? They might do it again.

I think the price is just a placeholder. Just like the cover art can't be anything close to the real thing (where is King of Cards ?)

Thanks Yacht Club Games for daring delay the release and make it an even better game, when you could have rushed it and cashed in on it earlier. I honestly can't see myself get bored with the game(s) and would love it to keep going... (paid DLC, maybe ??)

People asking for a physical release now have it.

Expecting it to be cheaper than the eshop version is just delusional.

And now people who have been BEGGING for a physical release are going to complain that it's too expensive.

The complexity is a big turn off for me. I bought The Escapists 2 because the concept and DA were very appealing to me... and it was already too complex for me. Prison Architect seems even harder to get into.

I think if there hadn't been any indies in the Switch library, Nintendo would have done 3 things :

• beg a little harder for 3rd parties to come over
• released WiiU (and Wii) ports at a faster pace
• most of all, Snes and Nes games would already be here.

  As for the lack of 3rd party AAAs, I'll always prefer a great indie over a good AAA.

Finally 3rd party AAA support !!

I think I'll get the need for "exclusives". To me if you don't have other systems, you're fine with Switch games being elswhere. If you have other consoles... then how many more games do you need ? Aren't Nintendo exclusives enough ?

Nintendo's doing great right now : the console is selling like crazy, and most of their games sold great and are still selling a lot :
This year Kirby, DK tropical freeze and Mario Tennis sold amazingly well (and N-Labo too, mind everybody), and I'm pretty sure Mario Party, Pokemon Let's Go and Smash are going to hit real hard.

When was the last time a Nintendo system was big on 3rd party support ? I'd say the Snes was.
If you bought the Switch expecting plentiful "3rd party AAA exclusives" you got the wrong system.

Monster Boy is as cute and colorful as it gets. I know you want 3D not 2D, but then again : the narrower your tastes are, the less chances you have to be satisfied.
If I decide only black and white games where a waitress is the hero are worth my interest, I can't act surprised that there's not one in every Nintendo presentation.

There's not that many 3D indies, and for a reason : it's much harder to "look good" by today's standards with an indie budget.

The second one was awesome ! I wouldn't bother with the first and third, though.

The E3 turned out to be a Smash Bros direct... so I expect this Smash Bros direct to feature lots of other games !

Good news that it'll be fore everyone. Exclusives are a pain in the ass, really.

An announcement this year, with a release by Xmas or early 2019 would be a good move !

According to some reviews, the formula of having 8 beginnings in a row is repetitive. So I'm wondering :

Can you recruit a party of 4, and do the whole game with them four ? (and then do it again later with the other four)

Well, to be more precise, I've liked Limbo a LOT. But Little Nightmares put me off with the (sometimes very) long loadings, which may have made me less indulgent towards some gameplay faults (imo). But I'll try giving it a chance...

Blaming Switch versions for not being on par with on PS4 makes as much sense as considering a GameBoy version of a game terrible because "it is too black & whitish" compared to the Snes version.
