Re: Review: Battleminer (3DS eShop)

@Jhomesjones This was actually helpful, as I was looking to decide whether to get BattleminerZ, seeing as I thought it was a much bigger deal than Battleminer when it came out.

Re: Poll: What's The Best Star Fox Game?

@MarioBrickLayer You only need to look at Star Fox Assault to get a proper answer. It's a lot of ground combat, but it's still all grounded in the action instead of an adventure, and the aerial combat that is there is fun, replayable, and lends itself to the kind of multiplayer romps that 64 made popular.

@Wilforce If you find the right missions, you can reach Rank 30 on your Warframe, AND weapons, within an hour.

That's not difficult at all compared to modding them. Some really good mods, you're not gonna know even exist or where to find 'em without visiting the wiki, and even then most of the time, it's chance as to whether or not you'll get them. On top o' that, you also have to upgrade those mods to get the most out of 'em using endo, which is not easy to grind for a lot of, unless you're lucky.

And that STILL only covers HALF of upgrading your Warframe. Getting Rank 30 is just the beginning, and won't be enough to prepare you for the open world, alone.

@Wilforce Level 15? By that, do you mean Rank? I was Rank 7, by the time I got used to the first two open worlds, and right now I'm still only Rank 10.

Your strength really comes from an understanding of the stats of your Warframe and weapons, and how strong you can make them using mods, and formas. A shotgun that can do 10,000 damage per round for example will have lvl50 enemies taken out, no problem.

The most annoying thing for me really is how much research I had to do to understand all this myself, but thankfully the game's been receiving updates that have only been making this easier, such as adding a Q/A section to the rather INSANELY functional chatbox, while the devs make it a point to help the community keep their wiki site as up to date as possible.

@AxeltheBuizel Even if it were the case that Miis would stop showing up in games (Which isn't happening yet. Switch is still getting games where you can at least play as your Mii if you want), Miis are still Nintendo's main avatars for users, and to simply replace them now would make no sense, would likely cost resources, considering they're also used in MyNintendo, and it would just be a tragedy all around.

Re: Feature: Talking Super Smash Bros. Ultimate With Nintendo's Bill Trinen And Nate Bihldorff

TheVGMLover

No, I am not ready, yet. All the talk about Smash is nothing but playing the main VS mode. As far as I can see, there has not been a word spoken about single player, yet, and that has me worried. Is there going to be any at all? Is this game just going to be VS mode, over and over and over, with the only goal being to GIT f*cking GUD? If so, keep me as far away from this game as possible, cos I get enough pain and stress trying to git gud in Smash 4. I don't need another avenue for constant headaches and self-deprecation.

Re: Star Fox Guard

@Parkour_LMan Oh. The more you know! Actually, that makes me think of Project Guard with a different coat of paint. Sounds like that idea can applied to almost any setting. It probably has been, too. Just never had its own game, before.
